Isaiah 40:31

"38,000 Feet"

"But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  A lot of things happen at that lofty abode of "38,000 Feet!"

Eagles have been known to soar as high as 30,000 feet and some believe they can go higher!  Planes fly at 38,000 feet; Angels soar there and everywhere  ...  38,000 feet is probably their gathering place for "changing of the shifts;" warring in the heavens is likely to occur at 38,000 feet; and sunrises and sunsets paint their palettes of splendor on their way up and down from 38,000 feet!

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD."
(I Thessalonians 4:17)

The above scripture is what is termed and known as "The Rapture of the Church."  The LORD Jesus Christ will come in the air to take His Church, His Bride, out of this world, in the moment in the twinkling of an eye (I Corinthians 15:52) before the great and terrible tribulation period.  We will ascend beyond "38,000 feet" in that glorious rescue in the heavens!  We must count ourselves worthy to be among this entourage, by being baptized in the lovely name of the LORD Jesus Christ, being filled with His Spirit and speaking with tongues as His Spirit gives the utterance, and living a Holy life until that spectacular day, or night, when the trumpet sounds!

"Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up."
(Galatians 6:9)

In simple terms, "Your altitude determines your attitude."  Those who soar don't hit the floor!  Climb for the sublime!  Be a flying giant and you won't be temptation compliant!  Rise to 38,000 feet and your energy you won't deplete!  You get the picture; those who are always looking up, view the world as a full cup!  One of the key things to surviving illness, overcoming disease, and living beyond infirmity is a positive outlook  ...  it happens around 38,000 feet!

"They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion."
(Psalm 84:7)

From strength to strength, from glory to glory, from blessing to blessing, from Joy to Joy, from honor to honor, from beauty to beauty, from witness to witness, from harvest to harvest  ...  such is the Saint's journey to heaven!  It's not easy; He never said it would be easy!  "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair."  (2 Corinthians 4:8)  Keep on fighting, weary warriors of God; keep the faith; keep your hearts from impurity; keep holding on to the One who holds on to you!

"Therefore, since through God's mercy
we have this ministry, we do not lose heart."
(2 Corinthians 4:1)

This is for "all" the Ministers of Jesus Christ; the earth is in our hands.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ our Lord, and "We" are the only ones who can lift earth high enough to see clearly!  The smog, fog, filth, and smut of evil that crawls the earth must be put under our feet, so that we may glimpse the Savior and abide with Him in heavenly places in His Spirit!  The Lord is high and lifted up, and His train fills the temple  ... perhaps He hovers at 38,000 feet ... waiting for your invitation to occupy your heart, soul, and spirit!

"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up."  (Luke 18:1)  This is for You today!  Don't give up!  The LORD comes with healing in His wings; He is ever ready to comfort and bless you; you are His constant thought; He gave His life for you; Your life belongs to Him  ... if you will give it to Him  ...  Don't give up!

We have an everlasting Hope!  It lies beyond the clouds, beyond where eagles fly, beyond the second heaven; it's far far beyond the galaxies, but Hey, ya' gotta start at:  "38,000 Feet!"
