"Deceived!"

Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
(Genesis 3:13)

It happened then, and it happens now; the enemy of our souls seeks
always to destroy us, steal from us, or kill us
It is evil of the deepest kind, twisting the Word of God, whispering
lies into saints' minds, veering us from what's just
Eve succumbed to his deceit, disobeying God's command, and then
Adam followed His wife into the portals of Sin
People fall for it today, believing a lie and walking in darkness;
it's the same now in this hour, as it was then
The end of the Church Age lurks in the shadows, as satan prowls
the Churches, the Preachers, and the saints
The lost are in his grasp, so he goes after the redeemed; it's a
horrid tapestry of seductive evil that he paints
Without a love for the Truth, the saint has become his prey and
it's just a matter of when the fall will come
So, Almighty God continually warns His beloved to "Watch" and
be alert, awake, not careless, sleepy, and numb
It's Laodicea in which we live, but our waiting hearts should be in
Philadelphia, the favored Church of old
We must be diligent, filled with God's Spirit, and baptized in His
name; we are bought with a price, and not sold
Hold fast to the nail-scarred hand and be ever looking for the
Lord in the sky, and the final trumpet sound
He will come for His own, and we'll escape with our Groom, so the
Bride must be ready; we're homeward bound
Don't fall for the lies and the pleasures of Sin; we're on the last
lap and the clock is ticking for the final gong
Shout "Hallelujah Anyhow" when the troubles knock your door;
for Joy is your strength, with prayer and a song
We shall behold our Love and meet Him in the air; so we must
climb without wavering, and stand without a fall
The angels are tuning up, and all of heaven is preparing for the
long-awaited day, when the trump will give the call
We have a choice to hold fast and not fall away, or walk away
from God's protection and what we once believed
Our God said He would never leave nor forsake us, but it's up to
us to cling to Him, to be received and not "Deceived!"

"Break The Chains!"

"There is therefore now no condemnation to
them which are in Christ Jesus."
(Romans 8:1)

What stops us, and hinders us, from receiving answers to our prayers?  What stops us from witnessing to others about the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ?  What stops us from being all that we can be?  What holds us back?  Perhaps the key question is: What do we think of ourselves?  What we tell ourselves internally is so important.  If we grew up being abased, abused, ridiculed, criticized, and made to feel that we were "nothing" in this world, or if we have developed the "I'm nothing" attitude along the way of life, we must realize who we are in the Lord Jesus Christ.  If we have received His Spirit and spoken in tongues as His Spirit gives the utterance; and if we have been baptized in His name, we are a new creature; old things have passed away; we have become innocent again by the blood of Jesus, the Name of Jesus and the Word of Jesus, so we can let go of the past, and "Break The Chains!"

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares
the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
(Jeremiah 29:11)

Isn't that beautiful?  The Lord wants us to be successful, full of joy, hope and motivation.  What?  Oh, yes, Jesus Christ wants the best for us; He wants us to have sound minds, encouraging thoughts, holy conversation, and to use our talents and gifts to further His kingdom.  You are precious in His sight  ...  You are worthy because of His grace and mercy.

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,
whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things
are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever
things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good
report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any
praise, think on these things."
(Philippians 4:8)

You will notice that the list did not include "thinking anything bad" about yourself!  You say, "But, what about what people say about me?"  It turns out that if we have a good feeling about ourselves, it's harder for others to think ill of us.  Of course, there are always those in this world  ...

What about John the Baptist?  He went about preaching and crying in the wilderness, wearing camel's hair and eating locusts and wild honey.  What about the Apostle Paul?  He was small of stature, not very good looking, and he could barely see.  Then, there was Joseph, who dreamed his dreams, and made the mistake of telling his brothers about them.  They became jealous, plotted to kill him, but settled on selling him.  John, Paul, and Joseph didn't let anything people said hold them back; they preached, witnessed and dreamed, in spite of it all.

What is the scripture of the hour?
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the
LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto
the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of
the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the
acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of
vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To
appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them
beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the
garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they
might be called trees of righteousness, the planting
of the LORD, that he might be glorified."
(Isaiah 61:1-3)

Hey, if that didn't make you shout; I don't know what will!  You say, "Well, it's not that simple; we're living in hard times for some people."  Oh yes we are, and I pray for everyone without a job, all who are ill, the Nations, the hungry, the angry, those full of hatred  ...  in short, the whole world.  Why?  Because I know what it is to be bound, to be ill, to be without a dime to my name, to be needing a job, to be miserable, and to be dead inside.  But, the Lord Jesus Christ saved my soul, filled me with joy, made a way where there was no way, washed me in His blood, forgave my sins, and lifted me to love myself  ...  and others  ...

"The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger,
and plenteous in mercy.  He will not always chide:
neither will he keep his anger for ever.  He hath
not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us
according to our iniquities.  For as the heaven is
high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them
that fear him.  As far as the east is from the west, so far
hath he removed our transgressions from us.  Like as
a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them
that fear (or respect) him."
(Psalm 103:8-13)

Does that mean that we have no troubles after we repent, receive the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues, and are baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins?  No, we live in a sinful fallen world, and we will have problems, but Joy, peace, love, mercy, and grace are attributes of the inner being.  When Jesus Christ is aboard your ship, you have nothing to fear; He will carry you through the trials and tribulations; He will whisper sweet peace in the nighttime seasons; He will protect you and hold you; underneath are His everlasting arms.

"Break The Chains" that hold you back!  Stand up and glow in the light of the Lord in your life!  YOU are worthy; YOU are valuable; YOU are beautiful in the Lord's sight; YOU are excellent in creation; YOU are His, and He does not make mistakes!  Let your prayers go free; be set free from all things that have you bound; Rejoice in the God of your salvation!  He came; He bled and died on the cross at Calvary for You  ...  and You are worth it  ...

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield:
the Lord will give grace and glory:
no good thing will he withhold from
them that walk uprightly."
(Psalm 84:11)

"Just Say the Word!"

"He sent His Word, and healed them, and
delivered them from their destructions."
(Psalm 107:20)

The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve
to have you come under my roof.  But, just
say the word, and my servant will be healed."
(Matthew 8:8)

All he needed was a Healing Word from the Holy Lord; "Just say the word," was the centurion's plea.  No touch needed, no laying on of hands, no traveling to my home, no long drawn out ordeal  ...  Just say the word!  "When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, 'I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith."  Faith moves God.  If you want to be healed; if you need deliverance; if you're sick and tired of being sick and tired; if you are desperate to come alive; if you're willing to push through the crowd and touch the hem of His garment; if you will dip 7 times in the slimy disgusting river; if  ...  Then, tell the Lord Jesus Christ that faith-filled, miracle beckoning, hem-grabbing, mud-dipping, powerful faith-filled statement  ...  "Just say the word."

It's all about faith, you know.  This walkin' and talkin' with Jesus; it's the exam of your life, the cornerstone of serving an omnipotent God, a growth serum, the molding of your core self, the trial that takes you to glory land  ...  It is the entrance to the mind of Christ, this elusive, miraculous, mind-bending thing called Faith.  And, if we master it, like the centurion, we have moved the soul of God!

"O LORD my God, I called to you for help
and you healed me."
(Psalm 30:2)

Have you ever been healed?  I have, many times in the 40 years I've walked with Jesus, my Lord.  Mostly, it was when my Pastor laid hands on me and prayed over me, but the Lord has also sent His Word and healed me, when I cried out.  Many times before Jesus was crucified and rose again, the Bible says that as He stared at the crowds, He was "moved with compassion for the multitudes," as He prayed and moved about all over the countryside.  Hoards of lonely, sick, diseased, lame, blind, and possessed people, flocked to Him, to get under those hands, or just hear a Word  ...

We, as Christians, are His hands, His feet, and His voice in the earth and it is up to us to lay hands on the sick, cast out devils, anoint and pray over the hungry souls who need help.  Humbly, I say that I have prayed over people and they were healed, both on the phone and in person, at work, on streets, in Bible Studies, and the Lord Jesus Christ sent His Word and healed them.  We pray for, and send out the Word all over the world to the hurting, diseased, oppressed, and God heals!  Hallelujah!

Now, it's your turn; don't you want to rise from that sickness, that depression, that possession, that spirit of infirmity, that thing that is destroying your body and your spirit?  Don't you want to soar once again in newness of life?  This prayer is for you:

"Lord Jesus, I come to You on behalf of all
those reading this, and I ask You to "say the
Word" and heal their bodies, their minds,
their spirits, all infirmities, diseases, and
possessions.  I speak to satan, 'I rebuke you
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by
His Name, His Blood, and His Word, I say,
Come Out, GO, in Jesus' Name.' I curse
to the roots every cancer, every disease, and
every malady that seeks to destroy the people
reading this.  I command, in the Name of
Jesus Christ, healing, deliverance, wholeness
of mind, body, soul, and spirit, NOW!  Pour
out Your Spirit, Lord, on every person reading
this and they will speak with tongues as Your
Spirit gives utterance.  Help them to get
baptized in Your name.  We call this done in
the name of Jesus Christ."  Amen.

Now, Believe!  No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly before Him.  It is His desire that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.  He is not willing that any be lost or perish, but that all will come to repentance in His name.  If you have been healed, please don't hesitate to contact the precious people at promiselandchurch.net and let them know; our prayers and love for you are offered 24 hours a day  ...  You are not alone!

If you have not yet been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of all of your sins, please obey the Word of God and do it!  (Acts 2:38, Acts 8, Acts 10, Acts 19)  When you come up out of the water, you will be innocent, clean, without guilt or shame, and all of your sins will be washed away and  remembered no more by the Lord of your soul  ...  and you will feel as light as a angel's feather in the breezes of Spring.  It is glorious, beautiful, wondrous, and humbling  ...  to be Holy before our Holy Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"For you have delivered me from death and
my feet from stumbling, that I may walk
before God in the light of life."
(Psalm 56:13)

Lord, we come as the centurion,
"Just Say The Word!"
