"Rain On Me!"

"And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain,
and the earth brought forth her fruit."
(James 5:18)

Get under it!  Huh?  Let it rain, Lord, let it rain!  We've prayed, fasted, taken communion, we're ready!  Ready for what?  RAIN! Rain down Your Glory, Lord; rain down Your blessings; rain down Your power; rain down Your Spirit; rain down the answers; rain down the Miracles; rain down Your beauty for our ashes  ...  Rain, Lord Jesus, Rain!  A downpour is coming; the cloud is forming  ... get under it!  No more pain, no more heartaches, no more tears, no more hurt  ... You say, "That doesn't happen here; that happens in heaven!"  It's time for "in earth as it is in heaven;" it's time for Glory to come down; it's time for power from the heavens on the inhabitants of waiting earth.  Who said it's time?  The Bride says, "It's time."  Who listens to the Bride?  ...  The Groom.

Our Lord Jesus Christ took the rain, took the pain, took the stripes on His back, took the nails, took the cross  ...  He gave His all for you and me  ...  so that WE can know His rain of Glory, His rain of power of the Holy Ghost, His rain of Miracles, signs and wonders, His rain of His presence in our lives day by day.  The love of Almighty God can rain on You right now; You can receive His Spirit and speak in a language you never learned as His Spirit gives you utterance; you can be baptized in His name and come up out of the water a new creature, innocent and free!  He can turn your tears to JOY! It's all because He hung there in the rain, died, and rose again for all of mankind  ...  and He's coming back!

"And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick
person well; the Lord will raise them up. If
they have  sinned, they will be forgiven."
(James 5:15)

Let the Lord touch you, anoint you, and bless you, with the rain of His Holy Spirit; He will bring you peace that passes all understanding; He will carry you in the midst of the storm; He will hold you with His holy embrace; He will set you free from worry and fret; He IS the lover of your soul, the bright and morning star, the whisper in your fearful night, the sweet rain upon your fevered brow  ... He IS.

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and
pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer
of a righteous person is powerful and effective."
(James 5:16)

We need one another; we're a team; we are brothers and sisters in Christ; we are One in the Spirit of God, so we link arms and we weep when another weeps, and we rejoice when another rejoices; we shout with another's victory, and we bow with another's fall; we stand tall with our fellow warriors and we fight the good fight of faith together, in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Unity is the word for the hour, and we must remember; there are more with us, than with them. We are surrounded by the Angels of God  ... we Will WIN!  You know we've got to say it; it's our number one prayer  ...  "Rain On Me!"

"Who Touched Me?"

"And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied,
Peter and they that were with him said, Master,
the multitude throng thee and press thee,
and sayest thou, Who touched me?"
(Luke 8:45)

The woman was known as having "an issue of blood" for twelve years.  She had been to many doctors, had suffered greatly, and had spent all the money she had, trying to obtain a cure for this hemorrhaging condition.  Furthermore, we must understand the seriousness of this, according to the law.  She was not allowed to touch anyone, nor could anyone touch her; she was considered unclean.  She was not allowed to come to the annual celebrations of worship which were so important to Judaism.  She could not enter the temple courts, could not light candles for the Sabbath evening, and she could not participate in the Passover meal.  It was as if she was banned from "life;" her family couldn't touch her; any furniture she sat on was considered unclean; it was like she was a leper living in a normal setting.  We have to wonder how this woman cared for herself, so alone was she in this unclean infirmity, and being so banned from society; she must have felt so hopeless.

This woman heard about Jesus Christ; she heard about His mighty miracle-working power; she felt this was her only chance.  She risked everything, because, of course, she was not allowed in public, so she snuck into the crowd, creeped low to the ground so as not to be seen, and she said to herself, "If I but touch the hem of His garment, I shall be healed."  It was FAITH that pushed through the crowd; FAITH kicked peer pressure and the law aside; FAITH did the unthinkable and unspeakable; FAITH touched the hem of Jesus' garment, and when she did  ...  immediately her flow of blood dried up!

Two things happened that day:  The woman felt healed completely immediately, and Jesus Christ felt "virtue," or righteousness, go out from Him, and He said, "Who touched me?"  There was such a crowd around Him that the disciples were staring at Him, incredulous, rolling their eyes and thinking, in today's vernacular, "Are you kidding?"  It could have been a hundred people who touched Him; there were huge throngs of people following Jesus everywhere he went.  But, Jesus knew that it was FAITH that touched Him.

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed
for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us
peace was upon him,  and by his wounds we are healed."
               (Isaiah 53:5)

FAITH touches the Lord of Lords today!  All things are possible to him that believes.  How long do you keep praying for healing?  Until  ...  How long do you keep believing?  Until  ...  How long do you keep knocking?  Until  ...  If we are still alive; if we are still breathing; if we still have a mind to please Him and a heart to serve Him, we're ripe for a Miracle!

It still takes just a hand reaching out to the One who shed His blood to heal your blood, to heal your infirmity, to touch your body, to bring deliverance to your soul, to wash you clean forevermore, to lift you to newness of life, to calm your fears, and to love you like nobody has ever loved you  ...  Reach out  ...

Many are healed by the power of God in this present day, all over the world, as Pastors and ministers lay hands on people in the Name of Jesus, by the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of Jesus  ... people are healed, delivered, and set free.  I have prayed over the phone for people, laid hands on my computer screen and prayed for prayer requests, touched people with my hands in the office, at the altar, on the streets, in homes, and they were healed.

Won't you agree with me in prayer now:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, and
by Your Spirit, we come to You with FAITH,
believing for Your healing touch to bring
miracles to bodies, minds, hearts, organs,
blood disorders, diseases, depressions,
muscle and bone disorders, hearing and
blindness, lameness and mental disorders by
the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the
Word of Jesus; we call it done and we give
You the Glory, the honor, and the praise for
touching us one more time.  We Thank You,
Lord Jesus.  Amen and Amen.

Now what?  Believe!  If you have been truly healed, the doctor and tests will validate it.  Don't stop medications until you have been tested; we must be wise in all things.  If you have been healed, contact promiselandchurch.net with a Praise report.  The Lord Jesus Christ desires that we "prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper."  (3 John 1:2)

The Lord Jesus Christ is still moved by creation's FAITH; when we believe in the midst of so-called impossible situations, we have His attention; when we step out and take hold of His Blood, His Name, and His Word, we Win!

In the wee hours of the morning, in the darkest deserts of life, in the silent times and the crying times, The Lord Jesus Christ still asks that monumental question when He suddenly feels that leaving moment of virtue, "Who Touched Me?"

"Deceived!"

Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
(Genesis 3:13)

It happened then, and it happens now; the enemy of our souls seeks
always to destroy us, steal from us, or kill us
It is evil of the deepest kind, twisting the Word of God, whispering
lies into saints' minds, veering us from what's just
Eve succumbed to his deceit, disobeying God's command, and then
Adam followed His wife into the portals of Sin
People fall for it today, believing a lie and walking in darkness;
it's the same now in this hour, as it was then
The end of the Church Age lurks in the shadows, as satan prowls
the Churches, the Preachers, and the saints
The lost are in his grasp, so he goes after the redeemed; it's a
horrid tapestry of seductive evil that he paints
Without a love for the Truth, the saint has become his prey and
it's just a matter of when the fall will come
So, Almighty God continually warns His beloved to "Watch" and
be alert, awake, not careless, sleepy, and numb
It's Laodicea in which we live, but our waiting hearts should be in
Philadelphia, the favored Church of old
We must be diligent, filled with God's Spirit, and baptized in His
name; we are bought with a price, and not sold
Hold fast to the nail-scarred hand and be ever looking for the
Lord in the sky, and the final trumpet sound
He will come for His own, and we'll escape with our Groom, so the
Bride must be ready; we're homeward bound
Don't fall for the lies and the pleasures of Sin; we're on the last
lap and the clock is ticking for the final gong
Shout "Hallelujah Anyhow" when the troubles knock your door;
for Joy is your strength, with prayer and a song
We shall behold our Love and meet Him in the air; so we must
climb without wavering, and stand without a fall
The angels are tuning up, and all of heaven is preparing for the
long-awaited day, when the trump will give the call
We have a choice to hold fast and not fall away, or walk away
from God's protection and what we once believed
Our God said He would never leave nor forsake us, but it's up to
us to cling to Him, to be received and not "Deceived!"

"WOMAN!"

"Besides being a prophetess, Deborah was a judge.
As told in the book of Judges, Deborah is the
fourth judge to lead the nation of Israel."
Judges 4:1-5:31)

Come forth now, ye women of God, and stand in power as the
prophecies of the last hours unfold
The last will be first; the unsuspecting will rise up; the births will
be brought forth from mighty ones to behold
The Miriam's, Deborah's, and Anna's shall keep silent no more, for
the Lord has need of the woman's depth
She, who was forgiven much, loved much, was Magdalena's cry,
delivered of seven devils; it was why she leapt
Don't underestimate the woman, as she groans in travail; she feels
the Lord's burdens, and knows Him well
She'll fight the bears and lions for her children, for souls, and to
keep the Nations from a burning Hell
Where did she get this Vision so strong?  It was borne of the pain
she's learned to endure her whole life long
In pain, she gives birth; in pain, she's the stalwart prayer warrior
of a legacy passed down to those who belong
The grandmother, the mother, the daughter; they're the chain of
those on their knees, plowing the ground
It's a mighty soil of generations from the wrinkled hands of bold
women, who refused to have sin around
She will point in your face, with the flaming eyes of Almighty God,
and who can deny such Holy Ghost fire?
She's been through the pain, the suffering, and trials; she's not
afraid of the devil or what he conspires
"But, she's just a woman," some say, not realizing her insight to
carrying, patiently waiting, and giving birth
Her trials have given her stamina, strength, and a posture of
steadfastness of value and great worth
She'll rise from the dust and prophesy to your face, and the Word
will bring power to your time and place
Because she's won the battles in prayer, in many lonely nights
alone, in a dark room or crawlspace
Be prepared, O women of God, for this may be your time to shine
like the sun in gifts of the Spirit, so bold
There's a reason He chose you; you're no stranger to guidance, management, order, and commands to uphold
The one who gives birth carries the Creator in her womb, because
only she can create like the Master can
And in her, He feels a connection that only she understands, as the
Lord gives her power to produce a man
You may be called and chosen, dear lady; time has come to destiny
and now you may be summoned
This could be your intersection of prophecy, gifts, and power, as
the Lord proclaims, you are "WOMAN!"

Happy Mother's Day, Jerusalem!

"But Jerusalem which is above is free,
which is the mother of us all."
(Galatians 4:26)

O, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Mother of us all; you shine
like the Church, a light from Mt. Zion
Of heavenly origin, holy and free, shining in the
splendor of a glorious horizon
O, spiritual Jerusalem, your gospel is freedom, a
freedom from sin; we're no longer bound
For once we were lost, but out of you came a Savior for
to save and redeem; and now we're found
Sarah was a mother, like the true church from above,
the mother of all believers
Who are born of the Spirit, and who have been set free,
as willing heavenly receivers
A new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven, the
epitome of beauty from above
Free in all of its glory, a mother like no other, the
kingdom of peace and love
Zion, the mother of Israel, shall bring forth her sons from
the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ
Born for the spirit of adoption, to free the world by a
holy and ultimate sacrifice
The King will return to mighty Jerusalem, the mother
of us all, so we sing in unison
In this season to honor mothers; we worship Jesus Christ,
and say, "Happy Mother's Day, Jerusalem!"
