"Trifecta"

What a Sunday this will be!  It is Honor to those who fight for our freedoms and those who have died to preserve our freedoms; it is the celebration of the Day of Pentecost when Almighty God poured out His Spirit and tongues of fire set upon each of them and they spoke in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance; and it is the Day to celebrate the Graduates who are moving from one phase of life to a higher phase of "becoming."  It is likened unto our Lord Jesus Christ: His death, life, and resurrection; His death on the cross that we Honor for paying the cost for our sins and washing them away with His precious blood shed for all mankind; the newness of life He gave by pouring upon all flesh His Spirit, the Holy Ghost and fire; and finally His Resurrection when He rose on the third day, symbolic of the graduates finishing one part of life to rise to the greatest part of their life yet to come.  It is a mighty and powerful "Trifecta."

Life, death, and resurrection point back to the cross and the empty tomb of our Lord Jesus Christ; we pray always for our mighty men and women soldiers in uniform continually and we honor those who gave their lives carrying the torch of freedom for our great country in war.  Lives are given, and life is poured out in the Spirit coming down, while graduation hats are cast to the heavens as an offering of thankfulness to begin a new journey of resurrection.  So are the stages and occurrences of life.  Life doesn't really ever end; it begins again in another place for the soldier, in a new Spirit realm for the Holy Ghost filled, and in a new journey of destiny for the graduate.  But, through it all, our hands must hold tightly to the One who creates life and death, the One in whom our breath lies, the One to whom we look in the face, in life and death  ...

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and
filled the whole house where they were sitting.  They saw what seemed to
be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.  All of them
were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues
as the Spirit enabled them."
(Acts 2:1-4)

Those who have gone on before us would want us to live life to its fullest, and to do that, we must be filled with the Holy Ghost.  We are living in the "Day" of Pentecost, because over 580 million people worldwide have received the Holy Ghost and spoken in tongues, and that number is growing minute by minute.  The power of Pentecost IS a fire spreading from Nation to Nation, East to West, and North to South.  "Why?" you ask.  Because Life and death are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)  The Bible says the tongue is the most wicked member of the body (James 3:6); therfore, it must be tamed; it must be given over to the One who controls all things, the Lord Jesus Christ.

How do you know when you have received the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ?  You will speak in other tongues as His Spirit gives you utterance.  "Does everyone do that ?" you ask.  Ten out of ten do!  When we repent of our sins, and we ask Him to fill us with His Spirit, He will, and He does, every day, every minute of every day, all over the world.

You don't want to miss it!  The PromiseLand deeply
honors death, celebrates and rejoices in life, and
resurrects spirits every service.

We honor you: Memorial Day, Pentecost and Graduation!

"Defeated!"

"And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the
lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false
prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented
day and night for ever and ever."
(Revelation 20:10)

He's the father of lies, the ultimate deceiver, and he's
doomed to the Lake of Fire
The torment of the saints and the roaring against
faith, rises to God as ire
Stand fast, therefore, ye followers of Christ, for not
too long and the liar will cease
We're on the home stretch; the trump will soon sound,
and you'll see your release
One Angel will do the reward, and satan will meet his
appointed fate foretold
And his torment will come back to him, in measures
of fire, and brimstone fourfold
Don't listen to deceit, and lies about God's Word; hide
now the truth in your heart
And sin will not reign, for the Lord God will uphold
and protect the pure, those set apart
It's coming soon, and the only voice we'll hear, is the
sound of our risen Lord
As we line up inside the Gates, and cast crowns
before the throne; Jesus is our reward
It will be worth it all, you'll see; the trials, tests, and
torments, will give way to all glory
We've yet to see the splendor, life's river, golden streets,
and the lovely end to the story
Remember, the liar is doomed to fail, earth will be
ripped from him; and he'll be unseated
When the King of Kings and Lord of Lords sets His feet
on the Mt. of Olives, and satan is "Defeated!"

"Blessing or Curse"

"I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have
set before you life and death, blessing and cursing:
therefore choose life, that both thou
and thy seed may live:"
(Deuteronomy 30:19)

"His wife said to him, "Are you still holding on to your integrity?
 Curse God and die!"
(Job 2:9)

The Biblical Job had a choice; the children of Israel had a choice, and we have a choice.  Before us, in and through all that life throws at us, we have a choice.  As human beings, we can "receive" a blessing or a curse; we can "be" a blessing or a curse, and we can "give" a blessing or a curse.  Interesting , isn't it?  It's often the first thing people do when trouble hits  ... blame God, or curse God.  You say, "But, Deuteronomy is talking about if we follow the commandments and serve God, we will be blessed, right?"  Exactly, but throughout our lives, we have continual choices, valleys and mountains, heartaches and victories, pain and ecstasy, which take us "TO" the blessing or the curse, depending on which road we take; it's always our choice, "and" our attitude that sets up the blessing or the curse in ourselves and in those we deal with in life.  Life and death are in our hands, when it comes to choices, and "we"often determine the "Blessing or Curse."

Job lost everything, all of his children, his flocks and assets, his health, and then, even his so-called friends turned against him  ...  But, the final blow was when his own wife looked at his body covered with boils and said, "Curse God and die."  Job told her she was speaking as a foolish woman, and he did not charge God foolishly.  He "did" question why he was born, so torn was he in his agony and pain, but he was just trying to come up with a reason for his torture; however, through it all, He did not blame God.  He had a choice of two paths in his trial; he chose the path that led eventually to blessing.  "Curse" means misfortune, evil or doom.  The children of Israel in the wilderness struggled with this and often failed, because every time trouble came, many of them resorted to the path of sin, unrighteousness, and lack of faith, which ultimately led them to "curse."  Our lives are much the same; when hard times occur, people lose faith and make destructive choices, robbing us of the blessing and leading us to a form of curse.

He replied, "You are talking like a foolish woman.
Shall we accept  good from God, and not trouble?" In all this,
Job did not sin in what he said.
(Job 2:10)

The Holy Bible states that in the last days the very elect would be deceived if it were possible, and that people would believe a lie and be damned.  What lie will they believe?  Whatever lie satan decides to throw at them.  It is always a lie "against" the Lord Jesus Christ, His Word, His name and His blood.  Huh?  If he can convince us that the Lord is through with us; if he can make us believe there is no hope for our lives; if he can rob us of our faith; if he can twist the Word and make us believe we've gone too far and we will not be forgiven  ... he will have won.  This is where blessing and curse become prominent!  People lose faith and fall into sin because they have no hope, and they bring a curse of misfortune upon themselves  ...  sin always brings forth death  ...  death of strength, death of health, death of prosperity, death of blessing  ...

WE often pave our own paths with problems and trouble, because we do not choose to "TRUST" that the Lord God we serve will bring us through with victory.  We must develop the mindset of the three Hebrew children, They said, "Our God will deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and even if He doesn't deliver us, O king, we will not serve your gods, nor will we worship the golden image which you have set up."  Why must we have this point of view?  If we do, we set ourselves up for blessing  ...

"You mean we control our own destiny?" you ask.  In a measure; the choices we make have directed our lives ever since we were old enough to make them.  The Lord Jesus Christ gives us free will to make these choices, and herein is often man's downfall.  God could blink an eye and every mortal in earth would fall to his knees, but during the time of Grace, which is the age we are currently in, we make these choices and we reap the consequences  ...  blessing or curse  ...  depending on the door we walk through  ...

Think of the hundred and twenty years the people in Noah's day had to make the right choice.  Noah warned them, but they mocked him all the while he was building the Ark.  "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days of the coming of the Lord,.."  People are being warned every day that time is short, that we are seeing the fulfillment of prophecy at a rapid rate, that the sins and evil of Sodom and Gomorrah are slapping a Holy God in the face, that evil and witchcraft are growing and spreading, that we are in the endtimes, that everyone who feels after the Spirit of a Holy God is sensing the coming trumpet sound, that the tribulation period of judgment is at the door  ...  and we are hearing those very scary words, spoken with smirks and mockery, "Where is the sign of His coming?"

They are two words that should be on billboards, in the daily news and newspapers, on TV, in films, before our eyes with provocative urgency  ...  Because, WE, ourselves, individually, must choose, and choose carefully  ...  "Blessing or Curse."

"A Birth that Changed The World"

“‘Who has ever seen or heard of anything as strange as this?
Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a
country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by
the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, the baby will be
born; the nation will come forth. Would I ever bring
this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?’
asks the Lord. ‘No! I would never keep this nation
from being born,’ says your God.”
Isaiah 66:8-9

God foretold long ago that after He brought His scattered people out from among the nations, in one single day, He would declare them to be a Nation.  This occurred on May 14, 1948.  It was after the horrors and very close extinction of the Jews in the Holocaust, the persecutions around the world, and enemies surrounding them, that the Jewish people gathered together in Israel and declared themselves a Nation in one day.  The Bible prophesied it would happen and it did!  The United States recognized Israel as a Nation that day and Israel's many victories in countless wars ever since have positioned them as a sovereign powerful Nation among all the other nations of the world.

“I will make Jerusalem and Judah like an intoxicating drink to all the nearby
nations that send their armies to besiege Jerusalem. On that day I will make
Jerusalem a heavy stone, a burden for the world. None of the nations who
try to lift it will escape unscathed.”
(Zechariah 12:2-3)

O, Nations, haven't you learned by now that you cannot come against Jerusalem without the onslaught of a form of "sudden destruction."  The majority of countries surrounding Israel have made it abundantly clear that they desire the destruction of Israel.  However, Almighty GOD has made it clear that Israel is His, and if you touch her, you touch Him, and if you touch Him in a warring fashion  ...  you get burned  ...

“Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from
the Sovereign Lord: When my people are living in peace in their land, then you
will rouse yourself. You will come from your homeland in the distant north with
your vast cavalry and your mighty army, and you will cover the land like a cloud.
This will happen in the distant future. I will bring you against my land as everyone
watches, and my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you.
Then all the  nations will know that I am the Lord.”
(Ezekiel 38:14-16)

The Holy Bible states that in the last days Russia, with a horde of nations led by Iran, will come against Israel to destroy her, but God  ...  I said, "But, GOD" has vowed He will make His presence known to the entire world in defense of His beloved Israel.  Hey, I don't care who you are, where you're from, or what you call yourself, your arms are too short to box with God!

“Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its buds become tender and its leaves
begin to sprout, you know without being told that summer is near. Just so, when
you see the events I’ve described beginning to happen, you can know his return is
very near, right at the door. I assure you, this generation will not pass from the scene
before all these things take place. Heaven and earth will disappear,
but my words will remain forever.”
(Matthew 24:32-35)

Why should you know this, and why is all of this important?  The Lord Jesus Christ told his disciples that the main sign of His soon return would be the restoration of Israel.  The fig tree Jesus referred to is Israel.  It has been over 65 years since Israel was declared a nation.  The Lord stated that the generation that saw the blooming of the fig tree would also see His coming.  So, what time is it?  It's time to prepare  ...

Blow the trumpet in Zion, or Church, gather the harvest quickly, and Nations prepare ye the way of the Lord.  What?  Repent, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the Holy Ghost and speak with tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.  Why?  WE are the generation that saw Israel bloom; WE are the generation who will see the fulfillment of all things; WE must be prepared  ...  for the Rapture of the Church  ...  He will catch His bride away in the air; read the Book of  I Thessalonians 4:16-18.

Keep your eyes on Israel and the wispy moonlit eastern sky; keep your ears tuned to the sound that will "catch you away;" keep your mind stayed on Jesus Christ; keep your heart pure and your body holy and acceptable in His sight; keep the Word hidden in your heart that you might not sin against Him; and keep in mind that all of this is happening because of "A Birth That Changed The World."

Happy Mother's Day, Jerusalem!

"But Jerusalem which is above is free,
which is the mother of us all."
(Galatians 4:26)

O, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Mother of us all; you shine
like the Church, a light from Mt. Zion
Of heavenly origin, holy and free, shining in the
splendor of a glorious horizon
O, spiritual Jerusalem, your gospel is freedom, a
freedom from sin; we're no longer bound
For once we were lost, but out of you came a Savior for
to save and redeem; and now we're found
Sarah was a mother, like the true church from above,
the mother of all believers
Who are born of the Spirit, and who have been set free,
as willing heavenly receivers
A new Jerusalem coming down out of heaven, the
epitome of beauty from above
Free in all of its glory, a mother like no other, the
kingdom of peace and love
Zion, the mother of Israel, shall bring forth her sons from
the Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ
Born for the spirit of adoption, to free the world by a
holy and ultimate sacrifice
The King will return to mighty Jerusalem, the mother
of us all, so we sing in unison
On this day to honor mothers; we worship Jesus Christ,
and say, "Happy Mother's Day, Jerusalem!"

"Adam and Eve"

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind,
it is abomination. Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things."
(Leviticus 18:22-24)

Adam and Eve were created, not Adam and Steve, nor Eve and Miriam.  Same sex marriage  ... a hot topic today, this will not be popular or accepted by some, but it doesn't matter what I think, or what anyone else thinks; the only thing that matters is what Almighty God thinks!  This will present the facts according to the Holy Bible, and then anyone reading this can receive it or not receive it, according to his/her own conscience  ... Fair enough?  It should be noted that the Lord Jesus Christ loves every soul in earth; He is not against any one person  ...  He is against Sin in the life of every person, and Bible prophecy is being fulfilled daily  ...  Let the Lord speak to your heart today.

There are all types of Sin, and all of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God; we all need a Savior.  We are centering on "same sex marriage" because it is the topic and Sin of the hour.  You say, "Well, I don't think it's a sin."  I hear you, but every honest heart will receive the Spirit of God, and every honest heart will do what is right in "His" eyes.  I know there will be many honest hearts reading this.  Why is this important?  Time is running out, and all of us must make sure we are right in God's eyes before it is everlasting too late  ...  Sodom and Gomorrah was turned to ashes for the sin of homosexuality, and this sin is running rampant today.

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of
them have committed an abomination: they shall surely
be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."
(Levitcus 20:13)

"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their woman did change the natural use into that which is against nature."
"And like wise the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their
lust one toward another: men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."
(Romans 1:26-27)
God lists "homosexual offenders" among "the wicked" (1 Corinthians 6:9).
God lists "homosexual offenders" among those who He determines will "not inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9).
Historically, homosexuality has incurred God's destructive wrath upon an entire city (Gen. 19:4-5, 11-13).
God's word defines the men of Sodom as "sinning greatly" because of their men having sex with men (Genesis 13:13; 19:5).
God calls Sodom's sin "sexual perversion" (Jude 1:7). Societies that remain in perversion (Sodom, Rome...) are on the road to destruction.
God's word identifies husband-wife relations as "natural relations" and homosexual relations as "unnatural ones" (Romans 1:26-27) and "perversion" (vs. 27).
God's word also rebukes those who "approve of those who practice" homosexuality (Romans 1:32).
Jesus settled the marriage issue once for all, declaring that God had made them "male and female ... a man ... [and] his wife" (Matthew 19:4-5).

What if you didn't know about these scriptures before, and now you want to ask for forgiveness?  He will receive you!  "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." (Psalm 34:18) But, when we ask for forgiveness, we can't go back to the old lifestyle; we must turn around and walk a different way.  The Lord gives us strength to do that, when we are filled with His Spirit, and baptized in His name (Acts 2; Acts 10; Acts 19).  It is not within any of us to direct our own path; we need the help of the Savior, Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then all the men of the city surrounded Lot's house and said,
"Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us
so that we can have sex with them."
(Genesis 19:5)
The angels struck the rioters blind! Leading Lot, his wife, and two daughters
by the hand, the angels hurried them out of the city. The girls' fiancés would not
listen and stayed behind.  Lot and his family fled to a tiny village called Zoar.  The
Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah, destroying the buildings,
the people, and all the vegetation in the plain.  Lot's wife disobeyed the angels,
looked back, and turned into a pillar of salt.
(Genesis 19)

Sin is not new; homosexuality is not new; God has been dealing with this for thousands of years.  The Lord Jesus Christ came, died on the cross, and rose again to give us hope and a future.  There is a life after this one; there is a heaven and a hell; there will be a Rapture of the Church; there is coming a horrible tribulation period when the earth will be judged for Sin; there will be a thousand years of peace.  The Lord is trying to give everyone a chance to repent before judgment comes.  We don't sin and get by with it; there are always always consequences; we must face our sins, all of us, and repent, placing them under the blood of Jesus Christ.  You say, "I still don't believe what I'm doing is sin."  It is your choice, your decision, your heart and soul that must face Almighty God  ...  and we ALL will face Him.  He said sooner or later, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  We can do it now  ...  or later  ... when it's too late  ...

Dear friend, if you are involved in any of this we're talking about here, but you feel a tugging at your heart, a moving in your soul, please yield to the Lord.  He loves you.  You say, "But you don't know what all I've done."  That is between you and Jesus, and He stands ready to take you in His arms and forgive you.  Once you repent, he remembers those sins no more; it's as if they never happened!  Isn't that wonderful?  It is, indeed.  You can receive His Spirit, be baptized in His name, and you will feel like a brand new person, so clean and "light."  Huh?  You will feel light as a feather; sin has a way of weighing us down, stealing our joy, and robbing our minds of reason and sanity.  Depression, guilt, shame, and the evils of what sin does to us will be gone!

Lord Jesus, I pray for every person reading
this that you will touch them, bless them,
give them peace, and let Your light shine
in the darkness that binds them.  Loose
them now, and set them free.  Help them
to ask Your forgiveness, and when they do,
lead them in the paths of righteousness for
Your Name's sake.  Fill them with Your
Spirit; lead them to be baptized in Your
name, and let them feel joy such as they
have never known.  I pray blessings upon
each one in the name of Jesus Christ, by
the Blood of Jesus Christ, and the Word
of Jesus Christ.  Amen and Amen.

Be blessed, my friend!  This was not written to condemn anyone, but just to bring you the truth of God's Word.  There were many things I did not know were sins until I read the Holy Bible.  We all have to come to the knowledge of Christ.

God creates beautiful things, holy things, and His creation of Adam and Eve was to procreate and fill the earth; only a man and a woman can do that; everything else is unnatural and unholy in God's sight.  May we all be holy in the sight of God.
