"Providence"

"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and
wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him
in a manger; because there was no room
for them in the inn."
(Luke 2:7)

Do we really blame the Innkeeper on that lonely glorious night?
Was it planned from above in that starlit sky?
Did Almighty God choose to be born in a stable?  Was it
another paradox of God, bowing low to climb high?
Was it not the practice of Jesus Christ to become a servant and
wash His disciples' feet, in humility and grace?
Don't we know by now that it takes a posture of kneeling to enter
the realm of that ethereal, and Holy place?
Why do we assume the Innkeeper was at fault, when it might have
been the Master's plan and design all along?
Is He not the Creator, the Holy One of Israel, the Lily of the
Valley, and the breath of our heart's song?
Haven't we observed our Lord Jesus Christ bowing Himself so
many times, to set an example and precedent?
Shouldn't we know that it takes a humble mindset to leave this
earth behind, and become Heaven's resident?
When has God ever not known His own plot, or not created His
own path, for the universe He made?
Wasn't His blood shed for the world's redemption, and the cost of
our Sins on the cross fully paid?
How can we not know that in all things our God is trusted, and He
always has a motive of purity and love?
Don't we all know that He sits upon the circle of the earth and
watches us sleep from His portals above?
Where can we go from His presence, and why would we not want it
from morning to night, abiding in His essence?
Haven't we hidden His Word in our hearts, and learned from the
saints before us the hard and trying lessons?
Why do we fret, when we know He holds it all in His hands, and we
are His beloved, His Church, His Bride to be?
Doesn't the world know He's coming soon and He'll catch His own
away to be with Him always, and ever set free?
Don't we know the world can't hold us long, for the trumpet is
tuning and the angels are warring for that day?
Will the Church awaken, gather her wedding garments, and head
off any further pause and reason for delay?
Shouldn't we believe that the stable was His choice, when we know
Him from His Word, and His serving deeds?
Hasn't He always thought about others, as He admonishes His
bride to hurry and gather the Harvest seeds?
Don't we know the season is here, and the signs of His coming are
all around; He's dropping a lot of hints?
When will we realize that, as it was on that night in the stable; so it
will be with the Born again flight; it's "Providence?"
