"Keep Walkin' On!"

"But he that shall endure unto the end,

 the same shall be saved."

(Matthew 24:13)

"Nobody told me the road would be easy  ...  I don't believe He brought me this far to leave me!" That's how the song goes, and that's how life goes.  You say, "You don't know what I've been through."  That's true, but I know what I've been through, and "it ain't been easy."  For the Christian, it's a lot of tears, a lot of warring, a lot of praying, a lot of trusting, a lot of believing, a lot of repenting, a lot of Word, and a lot of time "on the wheel." Huh?    We're in the Potter's hands  ...  He's molding us, shaping us, sanding us, pounding us, stretching us  ...  You say, "What kind of Lord is that?"  It's the kind who is a Father, the kind who loves us more than we love ourselves, the kind who loves us too much to leave us like we are  ... He's making us more like Him, day by day, to become Vessels of Honor in His sight ... We're the image of His grace, the creation of His hand, the product of His holy mind, the beauty formed from "dust," the manifestation of His LOVE, and He will see us through as long as we hold fast to His hand and march to the beat of His heart   ...

"Stand firm, and you will win life."

(Luke 21:19)

Walking the walk and Talking the talk, standing firm upon the Word of Almighty God, obeying His statutes, living holy, making no provision for the flesh but walking in the Spirit  ...  We don't do all these things alone! When we're filled with the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost and fire, it's a lot easier to WALK On in this life.  The Joy of the Lord is our strength, the precepts of His Word are our road map, the Love of Jesus Christ sustains us, the touch of His hand calms us, the power of His name protects us, His blood redeems us, the Spirit of the Lord guides us, and the Hope He gives us of His return and eternity with Him keeps us "Walkin' On!" 

 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship 

one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his 

Son cleanseth us from all sin."

(1 John 1:7)

Hey, it's a walk of Faith, a trek of trust, a stroll of stability in the Word of God, a jog of Joy in the Lord of Hope, a meander because He can take your life and make it new!  Enduring to the end takes guts; it ain't for sissies; it's not for the faint-hearted; it takes a warrior mentality; it's for those who know in whom they believe; it's a lot of cutting off demon's heads and dancing in demon blood. You say, "That's kind of crude." Oh yeah, this thing called "warring in the Spirit" is bloody; it's a war like no other; we're battling the enemy of our SOULS!  It takes a leap of faith to keep us soaring, eagle's wings to keep us flying above the snake line, angels' swords to guard us, and we shall overcome if we just keep on keepin' on  ...

"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare to you, 

that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."
(1 John 1:5)

So, the orders are clear; the mandate is our assignment; the instructions are written on the tables of our surrendered hearts; the work is finished in Jesus and must be finished in us; we must have a made up mind and a "gonna' faith it till I make it" attitude! He said "occupy till I come," "endure to the end," and those words equate to "Keep Walkin' On!"
