~Dreams come true if you don't oversleep~

Everybody's got them; they lurk in our minds like volcanic

joy, waiting to erupt in fulfillment

They are wishes and dreams hiding in our souls, as prisoners

in the confines of mortal concealment

It is our Lord's desire to bless us beyond measure, but there's

the matter of one's eternal soul

So, He watches to make sure the blessings don't override, and

crush His plan of redemption's goal

The soul is the created treasure in the hands of our Almighty

God, and He holds it with velvet gloves

It's what He died for, the salvation He bought with His blood,

and it's what His longing heart loves

He hasn't been happy since man and woman were evicted from

Eden; He yearns to be reunited

And if your wishes and dreams would cancel that union, He  

 makes note, and your "wait" is due cited

Our prayers should be, O Lord, let our souls prosper as we climb

on our knees to the cleft of the Rock

Open the door as we reach for You more than the blessing, and

usher us in, as the prosper becomes a knock

Our dreams and our wishes are nothing to compare to our love

for You, and our time at Your feet

The dreams will have to wait, while our wishes are answered in 

the time our eyes are open, without sleep

Grant us Your love, Your Spirit, and the mind of Christ is our

fondest desire in search of Your wisdom

Life would be nothing without Your presence and Your love;

it would be a void and unnatural schism

As the years unfold, and those dreams turn to cobwebs in the

portals of the spirit, and the soul

We notice an opening in the heavens, and it appears to be an

ethereal fountain, pouring through a keyhole

It seems the many times we were awake at His feet, made way 

for  the dreams, and a prospering soul was planted

And the Holy One of Israel, the Alpha and Omega, opened the

windows and proclaimed, "request granted"

It's so astounding, the sudden answer that falls from above; it

 sounds like a song, so glorious and lyrical

As we rise up to wholeness, we see we are the embodiment of 

Prophecies, Signs, Wonders, and "Miracles!"
