Ezekiel 38:18

"SCENT OF FURY"

Can one smell Rage?  You can if the winds, the skies, the clouds ... are ruled by the mighty Hand of God ... and the "Scent" descends from the angry nostrils of a furious God!  "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the LORD GOD, {that} my fury shall come up in my face."

The little land of Israel, constantly under threat of attack from everyone around her.  If you really want to make the God of the universe mad, come against His beloved Israel.  You say, "But I thought He was a loving God, full of love, kindness, compassion and tenderness."  Have we forgotten when He threw out the money changers?  Have we read Proverbs 1:26-30, "I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.  Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof."  God stands up for His own, defends His own, and laughs at His enemies.  Anyone who is against His own people, His chosen, or His children, is against Him.  The truth is that Almighty God is a "JUST" God.  Our government and judicial system punishes those who do wrong ... so does God!

The truth sets us free!  Everything Almighty God IS; everything He thinks; His character; His mindset; His moods; His desires; His plans ... all of it, are detailed in the Holy Bible.  He is a loving God ... until the "apple of His eye" is touched.  It's time the world heard the truth!  Our soldiers fight in wars to protect our freedom, and to bring freedom to others; we would defend our families if they came under attack; so, our God rises up to defend Israel.  Why should we expect Him to act any different toward those He loves?  But, He required obedience from them, as well as we.

Sin takes any person, any Nation, any leader, "anyone" who yields to it ... Down!  The Ten Commandments are not Ten Suggestions!  They are for our good.  We are all better human beings when we live by Godly principles and treat others in the context of those principles.  Time is running out; we must believe that Jesus Christ came, died, and rose again for us.  Pray to be filled with His Spirit and speak with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, and be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38; Acts 10, Acts 19)

It's time to pray children of God, Nations, World ... it's time to pray!  Israel, blow the shofar; it's time to pray!  We must humble ourselves before the One who said, "Where were you when I formed the foundation of the world?"  If there's anything in earth that we never ever want  ...  it's the "Scent of Fury."
