"Who Will Bring Jesus Christ ... Again?"

"And there was one Anna, a prophetess ... and she was
a widow of about fourscore and four years, which
departed not from the temple, but served God with
fastings and prayers night and day."
(Luke 2:3-37)

Zacharias and Elizabeth

Simeon and Anna                                                                   Joseph and Mary

Anna prayed for the coming Messiah, and lived to see her prayers fulfilled.  Do not underestimate the Power of prayer!  Six people, in the Christmas story, brought the Messiah  ...  Zacharias and Elizabeth; Simeon and Anna; and Joseph and Mary.  Anna's prayers brought the Messiah, Jesus Christ our Lord, the first time; "Who Will Bring The Messiah?  ...  Again!"

The Bride, the Church, sets the wedding date.  What does that mean?  There is a "final number," a last soul that will be won to the kingdom, and then the Rapture occurs, the wedding, for the Bride of Christ, God's Church.  Nothing happens without our prayers first being made; The Lord will not even call anyone to preach without our prayers asking Him to do so.  "Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:38)  The Lord has done His part; now it's up to His Church to sow the seed, be the light, gather the sheaves, pour from vessel to vessel, and do the work of an apostle, a minister, and a soul winner. We are His hands and feet in the earth, and the sheaves are in our hands to be handed to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We sow the seeds in lonely lost souls, and He gives the increase.  Soon, the last one will be baptized in His name and filled with His Spirit, and then  ...

Simeon

Simeon was the other one who stayed in the temple praying and fasting, "waiting for the consolation of Israel," and the Holy Ghost was upon him, says the Word of God.  "And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ." (Luke 2:28)  And, he indeed, saw Him and held Him, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Do we have a Simeon and Anna today?  Maybe many of them?  Although, history shows that it is rare to find THE Mary, THE Moses, THE John the Baptist, THE Paul, THE John, THE Simeon, THE Anna  ...  You say, "There are lots of those kinds of people."  Are there?  Life's careers, business, cares and comforts keep us from "dwelling in the temple night and day."  You say, "We couldn't do that anyway; we have to work."  That's true; that's why "Simeon and Anna" are rare!  But, God searches to and fro for those who feel His "unction," who ponder His vision, who carry the groan of His Word in the depths of their souls, who "wait for the consolation" of 'the world'   ...  Again!

What is THE one? What is THE prayer that breaks through?  What is the groan wet with tears that opens the hearts, that turns the heart of an angry Nation to God, that brings outpouring "upon all flesh," that awakes the souls from Sea to Sea, that sends the world to a thud upon its knees, that illuminates the darkness, and that frees a globe of souls that are bound?  "It's ridiculous to think that someone could bring all of that with prayer," you say.  Is it?  Daniel prayed, and lions' mouths were shut; Joseph prayed and Gifts of Wisdom and Knowledge came to him; Esther prayed, and all the Jews were spared; Paul prayed and prison doors flew open; John prayed in the Spirit and saw the Book of Revelation  ...  Prayer and Fasting  ...  the entrance into the secrets of God!

One cannot pray the prayers required for this last hour if one is not filled with the Holy Ghost and power.  We cannot even pray the prayers of insight into our own trials, without the Spirit of Almighty God.  Besides that, we are not in obedience to God's Word if we are not filled with His Spirit.  Jesus Christ commanded them to go and wait in an upper room until they were "endued with power from on high."  Mary, His own mother was among the 120 who were filled with the Holy Ghost and fire on the Day of Pentecost. Pentecost is running rampant today; over 580 million have been filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke with tongues as God's Spirit gave them utterance, worldwide  ...  and still counting.  To go out, to go up, to go anywhere in Jesus Christ, we must be filled with His Spirit!

Who will reach into the realms of God's secrets; who will delve into the recesses of a Holy and omnipotent mind of Christ; who has the vision of Anna and the endurance of Simeon; who lies awake with visions and images of a surrounded Israel; who sees the altar as the sacrificial door into the depths of greater illumination; whose heart beats with the rhythmic blast of the trumpet; who seeks the infinite profound opalescent treasures of an ethereal God; who will wade into the oceans of the passion of Jesus Christ to loose the passions of men; who will search through the dawn of the morning to reach a wide awake dawning Lord; who can move the Creator to perform the prolificacy of prophecy?

  1. The Word of God spoke to me in the early morning hours of October of 2008, the first message the Word of God said is, "This is the Word of God." Days later the Word of God spoke to me in the early morning hours and said, "Have Faith and Believe in the Word of God." In the beginning days of November of 2008, the Word of God spoke to me in the early morning hours and said, "I am the LORD thy God," minutes later the Word of God said, "I am the Word of God," minutes later the Word of God said, "I am the Just Judge." Days later the Word of God spoke to me in the early morning hours and said, "Never loose Faith in the Word of God."
