"From Weary To WIN!"

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for
in due season we shall reap,
 if we faint not."
(Galatians 6:9)

We, Christians, battle our way through the potholes of life, as we endeavor to "occupy" and "endure" until the Lord turns our ashes into beauty.  "Everyone" who battles grows weary.  Praying in the Spirit is War, and every warrior hits periods of weariness:

Biblical Joseph

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Job
The Biblical Joseph and Job went from Weary to WIN, and so does the Christian Soldier!  We're in a fight to the finish, but we shall finish strong.  We will not go limping through the pearly gates  ... Oh, no; we'll storm through with Joy and Victory on our lips!
The Christian Soldier
Oh, "Weary" was a river that ebbed and flowed through every Book of the Bible, and it flows through the veins of the faithful fighting saints of God today  ...  because we're Human; we're just "dust" that has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, the One from whom all wisdom flows, Jesus Christ our Lord.  So, how do we get from Weary to "that word," that place of victory, that plateau of overcoming, that realm of the fist in the air and the triumph on the face, that mountain far above the valley, that stance with the sword raised high, that posture of head thrown back and a smile from coast to coast?  Attitude!  Huh?  Your attitude determines your altitude!
Winston Churchill stated during World War II:
"Never, Never, Never give up!"
Albert Einstein said:
"It's not that I'm so smart, it's just
that I stay with problems longer."
An unknown contributor stated:
"When the world says, 'Give up,' Hope
whispers, 'Try it one more time.'"
Winston Churchill came up with another one:
"Wars are not won by evacuations."
Ralph Waldo Emerson said:
"When it is dark enough, you can see the stars."
The bottom line?  Stand!  When you've done all; Stand!  Stand on the Word, His blood, and His name!  Your "well doing" will see you through the "hard going;" your "stand" will keep you tall during the fall; your desire to "fly" will buoy you up during the plummet; the attitude you have to "not give up" will thrust you forward to keep up; the "Nobody told me that the road would be easy" song will drown out the "I have friends in low places" song; your "Get up and go" thought will eliminate your stay in bed in dread thought; and, Hey, Nobody ever "won," who dropped with the sun!  You get the picture  ...  it all has to begin in the mind ... and then  ...  the body, spirit, and soul will follow.
The greatest thing of all is knowing WE are not alone; we have the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ ever steadying us, comforting us, ever protecting us, carrying us, and leading us.  The troubles and trials of this life constitute only a moment in time, when we consider all of eternity on golden streets, dangling our tired "dusty" feet in the River of Life.
Hang on!  Whatever you're going through, whatever you're facing, through tears and rain, storms and fires, deserts and brooks, caves and valleys, heartache and hurt, trauma and disease, foreclosure and bankruptcy, unemployment and poverty  ... We have angel warriors battling with us. Through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus; I've learned to trust in God  ...  Remember the song  ...  You will make it!  I will make it!  We will make it!  We're headed to those crowning words from our Lord Jesus Christ, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."  (Matthew 25:21)
