"Awakened Dust"

"And the Lord formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."  There was an Awakening in the beginning, and there will be an Awakening in the end!  From the beginning of time, Almighty God has had problems with "sleeping souls."  He lives for the day that His Church becomes "Awakened Dust!"

"And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them
asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch
   with me one hour?"
(Matthew 26:40)

It's an age old problem; the Lord is still asking the question, "What, could you not watch with me one hour?"   Prayer is the link between heaven and earth, the completion of the circle of God, the impetus that causes all things Godly to occur, the visitation of Angels and the dispelling of devils, the power for miracles, signs and wonders, the strength of the saint, and the horror for the devil, the mountain climber of faith, and "see" mail from heaven!  "Watching" on our knees takes us around the globe in seconds, provides for the missionary in Africa, the praying persecuted Pastor in Russia, and the struggling apostle in Brazil.  Prayer makes everything happen; without it, nothing happens!

Wise Virgins

Foolish Virgins

"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  And five of them were wise and five were foolish.  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight, there was a cry made, Behold the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him."

The scripture states all the virgins arose and trimmed their lamps, but the foolish virgins' lamps went out and they asked the wise to lend them oil, but the wise told them "not so, lest there not be enough for us and you," and they told them they should go and buy for themselves.  While the foolish went to buy, the bridegroom came and took the wise with him to the marriage, "and the door was shut."  The foolish virgins came asking the Lord, "Open to us."  The Lord said, "I know you not."  The moral of the story: "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

The oil is symbolic of the Spirit and anointing of God.  The lamp goes out when we are not full to overflowing with prayer, fasting, consecration, holiness, and power in the Holy Ghost before God!  We are not "once saved, always saved."  Paul said, "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." (I Corinthians 9:27)  He was saying, in essence, as long as we are in the flesh, in earth, we must daily live a life of repentance, because "in our flesh dwelleth no good thing," "our hearts are desperately wicked; who can know it?"

"Now when the centurion saw what was done, he
glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man."
(Luke 23:47)

Anyone can be "Awakened!"  When Jesus died on the cross and said, "It Is Finished;" darkness fell over the earth, rocks split, lightning struck, the temple veil was rent, and the previously mocking centurion fell on his face and glorified God!  Sometimes it takes an earthquake, a hurricane, a fire, a flood, wonders in the skies, a miracle healing, a prophetic headline, or a blinding light that knocks us off our horse  ...  to "SEE" God!  Almighty God knows how to shake, stir, move, illuminate, reveal, and snap His creation to attention in a second in time; if He wants our attention, He can get it  ...

Awake, O Earth, prepare ye the Way of the Lord;
bow before His majesty
It's time to pray, fast and repent of our sinful ways,
our indulgence and satiety
Jesus Christ is coming in the clouds; He comes as
a thief for treasures of value
He asks while there's still time; Have you obeyed
Acts 2:38; Oh, tell Me; Have you?
Trim your lamps, let your oil be full, and come and
watch with me one hour
Awaken your soul, be strong in spirit, alert to the times,
 and filled with all power
There's no time for folly, no place for complacence,
for deep calleth unto deep
The trumpet will sound; the dead will rise, and you'll
be caught away  ... if you're not asleep!

We are the generation who will see the Rapture of the Church, the coming of the Lord, and the fulfillment of all things.  We know this because prophecy is in our headlines; the Bible is manifested daily in Israel; Matthew 24 is occurring before our eyes; Ezekiel 38 and 39 are imminent; One world government and One world currency are being discussed and anticipated  ...  We must be Awake!

"After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also,
and sent them two by two before his face into every city
and place, wither he himself would come."
(Luke 10:1)

We heard You, Lord!  Seventy are being sent out; homes are becoming churches, blogs are electronic preachers, the Church is marching in unity all over the world  ...  we're sounding the call  ...  it's being heard around the world; we're no more asleep; we have become "Awakened Dust!"
