"Fear God, Love God, Serve God": "Leap As One"

"And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the

salutation of Mary; the babe leaped in her womb; and

Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost."

(Luke 1:41)

Mary and Elisabeth were both pregnant with "destiny" babies, and the "leap" in the womb was one of immediate recognition. Mary's first thought, after the angel visitation, after the Holy Ghost conception, after this Holy entrance that was changing her entire life, was to visit someone who understood ... Elisabeth's baby was the forerunner of Mary's baby, The Messiah; they would come together, rejoicing in their Miracles, to discuss their Holy visitations, to look into each other's eyes, and they would "Leap As One."

The name, Elisabeth, means "God is my oath." Elisabeth was barren, but while Zacharias, her husband, was ministering in the Temple, he was visited by the Angel Gabriel, and was told he would have a son to be named John. And the Angel said of John, "For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb." (Luke 1:15) Elisabeth and Mary ... Miracles in waiting ...

Mary and Elisabeth

Mary hurried to the only one who would believe her; who else in the entire world would understand the "holiness" of her situation, but Elisabeth? Who would be the only other human who would not condemn her? Who, but only another one, who also had an angel visitation, could possibly fathom her still awestruck explanation of a Holy Ghost birth? Who else would give her strength through the long months of gossip, whispers, and stares? Holy and miraculous happenings seek out other Holy and miraculous happenings, because miracles defy reason, and they lead us right back to "The" defier of reason, "The One" to whom "reason" reports!

The walker of faith seeks other faith walkers; the three Hebrews (thrown in the furnace because they would not bow to any other than THE God), were each glad they had two other allies. It's a fact; dreamers like to cohort with other dreamers; mighty soul winners gravitate to other soul winners; those "carrying" a birth look for other birth carriers. There's only one reason for people who have this "searching" and seeking ecclesiastical phenomenon; it's so they can "Leap" as one ...

Mary and Elisabeth were two peas in a pod; they were One and unified in a mutual holy angelic happening. Some things just go together: Holy Ghost and Fire, Paul and Silas, Noah and the Ark, Jesus Christ and His Church, Spirit baptism and water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, prayer and fasting, peace and joy, My Bible and me .... So, we can conclude that "unity" is a powerful commodity. Our Lord said it; nothing is impossible to those who are unified in purpose.

Tower of Babel

Have you ever wondered where all the languages came from? They came from the Tower of Babel. The Bible states that after the flood, a united people, speaking a single language and migrating from the east, came to the land of Shinar, where they resolved to build a city with a tower, with its top reaching to the heavens. The reason for this: "lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." God saw what they were doing and said, "They are one people and have one language, and nothing will be withholden from them which they purpose to do." So, God confused their languages and they were forced to cease their building, because they could not understand each other, and they were scattered throughout the earth. (Genesis 11:5-8) Their "unity purpose" had an evil intent, to overthrow God, so it had to be thwarted. Unity can be good or evil, depending on its aim.

Unified people with a "Holy" intention, carrying the same burden, marching with one purpose, anointed for the goal, strengthened with One power, walking in One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism, with the same word: By the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of Jesus, "CAN" conquer the world! It's all about going forth as One, following The One, for the One goal to go "UP" as One.

O, Mary and Elisabeth, we understand. We always want to be around someone who also feels "the leap," who is expectant, who sees the "birth" is coming, who feels the joy of the new mysterious dimension, who knows the wonder of carrying a promise, and who also had a miraculous and holy, wondrous visitation. O, Church: it's time to come together, people of the name, people of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and we must carry the torch arm in arm, from Sea to Sea, Nation to Nation, walking in the Word of Truth, and the Power of the Holy Ghost. When we have accomplished our goal, and the trumpet sounds, we will disappear in the moment in the twinkling of an eye ... we will
"Leap As One."
