"Bon Appetit!"

"As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of  coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread."  (John 21:9)

"Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."
(Psalm 23:5)

The Lord God of the universe is a Man of many talents!  He heals the sick, casts out devils, calms the Seas, walks on water, raises the dead, performs miracles, turns water to wine, curses fig trees, speaks life to corpses, multiplies food, cleanses lepers, and cooks fish on the Seashore!  Well, "Bon Appetit!"

Hey, He's God; who said He can't cook?  He fed His disciples His Word, His wisdom, His knowledge, His soul, and then threw in a fish fry now and then.  Whatever we need, our Lord God provides!  The food prepared by Jesus Christ still nurtures us; His Word is the food for eternity, and we hide it in our hearts that we might not sin against Him.  His "table" is prepared for all who wish to come and dine.  The world is hungry, starving in fact, literally and spiritually  ...  Jesus Christ and His Word are the banquet they seek, even though many don't know it.  Over 580 million people have received the Holy Ghost and spoken with tongues worldwide, and it's growing minute by minute.  Why?  It's the "food" for the hour, the power from the tower, the love from our eternal dove, the Glory from the One who wrote the story, and the answer  ...  for the cancer!

 "LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup;
you make my lot secure."
(Psalm 16:5)

JOY; it's something the world knows not of  ...  it comes from the fountain flowing from portals above; it's the blessing flowing down to the creation He formed from "dust;" it's the essence of His soul dwelling in the remnant of our souls; it's Glory residing in earthly confines; it's a little bit of heaven in a little bit of earth; it's beauty for ashes and peace for turmoil; it's Jesus Christ our Lord dwelling in His beloved Bride, His Church.

"How abundant are the good things that you have stored up
for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on
those who take refuge in you."
(Psalm 31:19)

You have to know, "You're gonna' serve somebody; it may be the devil or it may be the Lord  ...  but, You're gonna' serve somebody."   That's what the song says, and it's right.  Everybody in this world has a choice.  Those who call themselves atheists, and think they don't serve anyone, are badly mistaken  ...  every knee shall bow; every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!  You'll bow now, or you'll bow later, but you'll BOW!  Serving the Lord is a "table" of the best 'life' has to offer; His angels guard you and protect you; His love enfolds you; His arms carry you; His strength sustains you; His whispers console you; His breath livens you; His Spirit saves you  ...  Dive in and "eat" of the feast from above; Jesus Christ is the ultimate Chef, feeding every part of the mortal being to make us into vessels of honor unto Him.  We are molded like a loaf of bread; we're filled like a Niagara that never ceases; we're loved like a Solomon staring at the one with dove's eyes; we're held in arms that reach from east to west and north to south; we're fed like a newborn lamb hungry continually  ...  He says to one and all, "Come and dine!"

"They spoke against God; they said, "Can God really
spread a table in the wilderness?"
(Psalm 78:19)

You say, "I have no hope; I'm in trouble and there's no way out."  Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ is Your "manna" from heaven.  Even as He rained down manna to the Israelites in the wilderness, so He can rain down Your help, Your answer, Your solution, Your way of escape.  He IS God!  Call on Him, won't you?  We must approach Him with sincere and honest repentance  ...  all of us; there are no exceptions; and then, ask Him to fill you with the Holy Ghost.  You will speak in a language you never learned; it is the evidence that the Spirit of God has entered your body.  It's beautiful; it's cleansing; it's pure and holy, and you will feel forgiven and free.  Then, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins.  The Lord is no respecter of persons; He saves people from every Nation, kindred and tongue; He saves all who come to Him in honesty and humility.  Maybe you were raised in another religion; the Lord receives all, no matter who you are or where you're from, or what you've been taught.  He is not willing that ANY be lost or perish.  Come and dine  ...

"Wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine,
and bread that sustains their hearts."
(Psalm 104:15)

The meal has been served by the One who came, died on the cross, and rose again the third day.  He prepared it just for you and me, and every human being on planet earth.  He is Jesus Christ, and He is God in India, God in Japan, God in Australia, God in Israel, God in South America, God in the Islands of the Sea  ...  He's God all over the world  ...  TO the world, and He has served Himself as an offering of Love that will never leave you, nor forsake you, as power in the Holy Ghost that will uphold you through any trauma or terror, as the Lover of your soul for all of eternity, as Your God who has gone to prepare a place for you, that where He is, you may be also  ...  a place of beauty, a supper like no other; it's golden streets, walls of jasper, gates of pearl, and it starts with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb  ...  "Bon Appetit!"
