"Smoldering Coals!"

"Smoldering Coals!"

"My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the
fire burned: then spake I with my tongue."
(Psalm 39:3)

Visitations of the Lord, Fire on the Altar, the presence of Almighty God:  these are "Encounters."  In Biblical times, the presence of the Lord was a thing of awe.  It still is today.  Encounters with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy One of Israel, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords  ...  it's like fire shut up in our bones; His presence always "leaves" something  ...  It's the day after, it's now hotter than the flame, it's "Smoldering Coals!"

PromiseLand Church - Fire on the Altar
50 Hours of Worship

What now?  The 50 hours have ended  ...  or have they?  Oh, the gamut of heaven sent emotions we felt: the burning fire of intense exceeding extravagant worship, the tongues of fire erupting from quivering lips of every person, our Holy omnipotent Lord's glorious and phenomenal consuming Spirit moving within us like an unexpected beautiful wind of unfathomable power  ...  and then, the sweep of sweetness in billows of glory moving in mounting waves of peace, joy and thunder all rolled into one, followed by ecstasy from beyond which makes one laugh and cry at the same moment of time, the bombardment of stillness settling upon the soul like living rivers flowing gently through the corridors of our being, the feeling of an unknown splendorous paradise in a suddenly unknown earthly realm  ...

"What are you talking about?" you ask.  I'm talking about a 50 hour "encounter" with the lover of our souls  ...  the fire still burns within us   ...  in coals of fire smoldering just under the surface, and in hearts that beat with a new beat  ...  HCT  ...  Heaven Central Time  ...  set with the throb of the heart of our Master, no longer an earthly tick, but now a new and wonderous dimension   ...  because of the Fire  ...

It's a New Day!  A new rhythm has emerged; yesterday's candle has been replaced with the roaring flame, and now  ...  the Smoldering Coals, which are now hotter than the flame  ...  The Fire on the altar welcomed the sacrifice, and the resultant embers will burn and burn and burn  ...  It's a New Day!

Worship opened the door to the deep, unleashed the flood waters, drew the angels from their lofty positions and corraled them in a chorus of New Holies; worship rearranged earth's agenda, drove out the spirits of evil, cornered the focus of heaven, and created an ethereal momentum  ...  In short, we have become "in earth as it is in heaven."

The fire of the Holy Ghost has ushered in a New Church Order, a smoldering march that will energize God's army to "occupy" with  the force of heavenly power, and with burning strength to reach our goal.  What is the goal?  Planet earth  ...  every man, woman, teen, and child on planet earth will be touched by the "smoldering coals" and the burn will spread from Nation to Nation, continent to continent, Sea to Sea, until  ...

It has begun!  The fire that started in the altar will burn around the world; we will Flame the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for all to embrace; repentance, baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the infilling of the Holy Ghost will be household words; Joel 2:28, the outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh is a reality; the infiltration of a Holy God upon the whole of His creation is a done deal  ...  because the heat is on; it's the greatest warmth you've ever felt, the most Holy condition you could ever encounter, the sweetest glory you could ever imagine, the most Joy you have ever known, the most magnificent peace of your entire life  ...  the Holy Ghost and fire!

There are a whole lot of people smiling today   ...  a whole lot of delivered toasty warm spirits today  ...  a bunch of people who walked, danced, rejoiced, and marched in the fire, but you won't smell smoke: only a sweet fragrance of myrrh  ... there are some healed and whole people still shouting in the shadow of the touch  ...  It was a blazing, moving, stirring, Holy, blessed, tearful, joyful, powerful, humbling "Awakening"    ...

Why don't you step in?  The flame is even hotter now  ...  it's the day after, it's "Smoldering Coals!"
