"Let My People Go!"

"And afterward, Moses and Aaron went in, and told
Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let My People Go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness."
(Exodus 5:1)

Moses and Pharaoh

"Let My People Go!"  Sounds like something that needs saying today, doesn't it?  Instead of Pharaoh, we need to say it to satan, to the governments, to diseases that have atttached to God's people, to addictions, to human traffickers, to Drug Lords, to depressions and oppressions, to demons, to those holding people against their wills all over the world, to public schools refusing prayer, to the squelching of religious freedoms everywhere  ...  The Holy Lord God screams His demand from the portals of heaven's throne room, "Let My People Go!"  We should know, though, that everything is being set up for the antichrist and the seven year tribulation period.  What must we do?  Repent. be filled with the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins  ...  then, live holy, pray for a pure heart, witness the gospel, prepare your wedding garment by winning souls, keep your lamp oiled and full  ...  and cry "Maranatha!"

Moses, before Pharaoh

Do you wish you had a Moses to stand up for you?  What has you bound?  Do you need a release; do your debts have a death grip on your nerves; does your failing marriage keep you from sleep; are teen problems the source of your tears; have lay-offs caused your job loss or unemployment?  Do you want these strongholds to "let go" of you?  You have ONE greater than Moses  ...  the Lord Jesus Christ, who IS, and Was, and IS to come!

"Father, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and by Your Spirit, I command strongholds of
every kind, of every source, of every root and nature to
"Let Go" of God's people NOW!  'I command you, satan,
by the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of
Jesus Christ, to get your filthy hands off God's people's
homes, bodies, families, jobs, finances, minds, spirits,
walk, warfare, strength, and salvation.'  Lord Jesus,
I speak peace now to the hearts, minds, and spirits of
Your people; let them feel your love, your power, and
your strength right now.  Deliver them from all infirmities,
attacks, temptations, and fears; dispatch Your angels
to protect, move and overshadow Your people."  I pray
this in the powerful and Holy Name of Jesus Christ."  Amen

Expect the answers to this prayer; believe Him for your situation, and begin to thank Him for blessing you.  You say, "But, it hasn't happened yet?"  Faith is, as my very wise Pastor says, "Grabbing hold of nothing and holding on until it becomes something."

Moses and Pharaoh

Moses kept going back and kept going back; every time Pharaoh said NO, a new plague would occur, and God would send Moses back again.  The Lord says in His Word to us, "Occupy till I come."  That literally means "to hold a position or rank," and the military definition is: "take over the place."  Hey, are WE, as Christians, supposed to "take over" planet earth?  'You betcha' as Sarah Palin would say.  We have the mandate to take the gospel to every corner of the globe, every nation, kindred and tongue, to be the light in the darkness all around us, to spread the power of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ from Sea to shining Sea, to wrap our arms around every person in planet earth  ...  That's what Christianity is  ...  Loving others as Jesus Christ our Lord first loved us, and placing the hands of the world in the hands of the Lord  ...

Moses and Pharaoh

What a leader!  What a man!  What a deliverer!  What a Prophet!  What a holy man of God!  Pharaoh finally let the people go, and then turned around and chased them to the Red Sea, which Moses had parted by the power of God, for the Israelites to pass over.  When Pharaoh and his armies and chariots headed into the dry ground with ocean walls on either side, the waters came together and drowned them.  Ah, the Miracles of God, wrought at the hands of Moses  ...

"But now, if You will, forgive their sin--and,
if not, please blot me out from your Book
which You have written!"
(Exodus 32:32)

This is, (Exodus 32:32), to me, one of the most profound and moving scriptures in the entire Bible.  While Moses was in the misty presence of God upon the aerie crag of the mountain receiving the Ten Commandments, the people of Israel got antsy, waiting those forty days, and they made themselves a golden calf, stripped naked, and began worshiping the calf and indulging in sin and lewd behavior of all that can be imagined.  Moses came down from the mountain, saw their debauchery, slammed the tablets written by God, to the ground in a fit of holy rage, and Almighty God was ready to destroy the people.  But, Moses' love for the people caused him to pray that most powerful of all prayers, "Forgive them, but if not, then blot me out of thy Book."  In other words, Moses was willing to go to Hell, if God would not forgive the people.  Incredible, isn't it?  I have wept and wept over this scripture.  What love could be greater, except the love of Jesus Christ our Lord for all mankind.

The Lord is a "just" God; His answer to Moses was this, "And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my Book."  (Exodus 32:33)  The Lord had mercy on the people, but reserved the right to chastise those who sinned.  But, could WE pray that kind of prayer for our friends and for our neighbors, for coworkers and for family, for strangers and for Nations  ...  or for the world  ...  It makes me want to weep all over again  ...  O, does the world have a deliverer such as Moses, today?  Who will stand in the gap?  Who will weep between the porch and the altar for the lost and dying?  Who loves?  Who Loves?  Who LOVES like that?  It's the kind of godly love that could transform the world  ...

Do we have One who climbs the mountain today, waits for the writing finger of God, prays on His knees for Nations of peoples he does not know, paces the floor in the dark of night for the souls of humans, lays his hands on the Nations of the globe with tears of love and mercy, stalks the devil and his imps to flee from his flock and from the children of God, gathers the Nations in a New Church Order, divides the world into Regions in a masterful plan of salvation, prays the Word and performs it, and shouts day by day, minute by minute the cry of a stalwart Moses:  "Let My People Go!"  ...  We do!  His heart is as big as the world  ...
