"The Three Are One"

"Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles,
nor to the church of God."
(I Corinthians 10:32)

The Wailing Wall in Jerusalem

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love
wherewith he loved us, And hath raised us up
together, and made us sit together in heavenly
 places in Christ Jesus:"
(Ephesians 2:4-6)

The Apostle Paul is talking about the Jews and the Gentiles being raised up together through Jesus Christ, and they will sit together in heavenly places, meaning a place prepared for all believers in heaven.  He further explains, "That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:" (Ephesians 2:12)

Were at that time without ChristHaving no faith in, or knowledge of, him.*

Being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel Both as to their temporal
privileges and spiritual blessings.*

And strangers to the covenants of promise The great promise in both
the Jewish and Christian covenant was the Messiah.*

The Bride of Jesus Christ belongs to One man, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is ONE Lord; all the fullness of the Godhead dwelleth in Him bodily. (Colossians 2:9) There were three manifestations of One God; He was Father in Creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration; Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles of the One and the same God, Jesus Christ our Lord!

The three groups made up of Jews, Gentiles, and the Church come together as One body of Jesus Christ, and the Bride of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We, the gentiles, are "grafted in;" we partake of the fruit and the blessings of Abraham; we are all Jews in that sense.  The Bride of Christ is made up of every kindred, tongue, and Nation.  God Almighty, Jesus Christ died for all men; all mankind are one in the Spirit with Him.  The Holy One of Israel is a Father to all, and by His Spirit are all peoples joined together in unity to dwell with Him forever in our eternal home.

"For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;"

"He who hath made bothJews and gentiles, one church. The apostle describes, 1. The conjunction of the gentiles with Israel, Ephesians 2:14,15. And, 2. The conjunction of both with God, Ephesians 2:15-18. Each description is subdivided into two parts.  And the former part of the one, concerning abolishing the enmity, answers the former part of the other; the latter part of the one, concerning the evangelical decrees,  the latter part of the other."*

"And hath broken down the middle wall of partitionAlluding to that wall of old, which separated the court of Israel from the court of the gentiles. Such a wall  was the ceremonial law, which Christ had now taken away."*

The Church  ...  One body, one Bride, united in One Spirit, to serve One God!  Only Almighty God brings together Nations; by His blood, His name, and His Word are we united in the faith.  There is One Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:5).

These are the three the God of the Universe deals with: the Jews, the Gentiles, and The Church, and these three are the heartbeat of His soul.  The whole of the purpose on the cross was that all men would be free, free of sin, free of disease, free of hatred, free of disunity, free of war, free of bondage  ...  and it all culminates in the blood of Jesus Christ.  Only His blood can set us free; only infilling of His Spirit can bring release; only baptism in His name can wash away our sins, and it applies to Jews, Gentiles, and His Church  ...  when it happens, the three are One in the Holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ our Lord.  His Spirit, His blood, and His name bring us together in Him, all over the world, when mankind kneels at the foot of the cross, and realizes "The Three Are One."  Hallelujah!
