"Holy Habits"

"And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord
standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and
fear fell upon him, but the angel said unto him,
Fear not, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard, and thy
wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou
shalt call his name John."
(Luke 1:11-13)

It pays to be in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing, for the right purpose, waiting for the right moment of visitation!  O, Zacharias, you had a habit of being at the altar of God; if someone wanted to find you, they knew right where you would be at the appointed hour of every day.  What got you a visit from an angel?  Why were your prayers answered in such a fashion?  You and your barren wife, Elisabeth were both now "stricken in years," so why would God give you a child now?  It was because of your faith, your time at the altar, your devotion to a Holy God, your prayers, your continual obeisance and humility, your unwavering presence in His presence  ....  your "Holy Habits."

"... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous
man availeth much."
(James 5:16)

Habits can very often be highly destructive or very highly beneficial; the Holy habits are observed by THE Holy "One."  What is that presence standing over you as you pray?  Are you just talking in the wind when you present your pleas, or does heaven dispatch orders, answers, and angels when you pray?  It depends.  "Depends on what?" you ask.  Whether or not this Holy thing called prayer is a "habit."  Nobody has time to pray; we make time to pray, and it's a "habit" with perks; the swish of scented fresh air behind you, the sudden meaningful glow in the room, that minute flashing flicker of blinding light in your peripheral vision, that ethereal aura of deafening stillness in the atmosphere  ...  could be an angel, "attracted" by your habit  ...

Mary's visitation

Mary, the mother of Jesus, was visited; mighty Abraham was visited; the prophet Elijah was visited; the shepherds were visited; Zacharias was visited  ...  Have You been visited?  "That doesn't happen anymore," you say.  Who says it doesn't?  I know people who have seen angels; my own daughter saw an angel with a sword drawn standing over a choir member.  Angels are all around us, seen and unseen; what brings them?  Holy Habits.

We must always be very cognizant of the Word of God with any and all kinds of visitation.  We must "try" the spirits.  Not all angels are from God, and we must "know" the Holy Bible in order to verify who it is that may be speaking to us, or showing up in our presence.  An angel of Almighty God, the Lord Jesus Christ, will never tell us anything that is not already spoken in the Word of God.  There are no new revelations, only illuminations of what has already been delivered in His Word.

As we draw closer to the Rapture of the Church, the Coming of the Lord, and the fulfillment of all things, the realms of the Spirit will become more and more visible and prevalent.  "What makes you think so?" you ask.  The time is short; revival among all Nations is occurring now; the Awakening of the Church is now; God's Spirit is being poured out upon all flesh now; the wars of Ezekiel 38-39 are upon us now; miracles, signs and wonders are being manifested now; the newspaper headlines of end times are now, and will read like the Bible more and more; people will utter more frequently "Where is the sign of His coming?" and as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be  ...  Now ...  We must be alert, saturated and overflowing with prayer, continually looking up, watching for the "thief in the night," the Lord Jesus Christ, working while it is yet day for the night cometh when no man can work, and above all, we must be developing to perfection the Holy Habits.

Prayer changes things; prayer moves Nations, calls preachers to preach, heals, fills and delivers, sends, assigns and dispatches, lifts up and pulls down, casts out and fills up, humbles and exalts, wins battles and destroys enemies, covers with the blood and washes white as snow, builds up and tears down, accomplishes and denies, manifests and eliminates  ...  it's the habit that beckons God, looses angels and rebukes devils; it is Holy, powerful, and exclusive.  "What?"  The power of PRAYER!  It is the exclusive and effectual habit of those who are the called, the chosen, assigned, saved, redeemed, expectant, faithful, and persistent  ...  We can go around the world on our knees, conquer evil kingdoms, bring relief to a far off missionary, loose and bind, bless and curse.  You say, "When would you ever want to curse something in prayer?"  We "curse" cancers and all manner of diseases to the root; we curse the kingdoms of darkness and forces of evil; we curse the powers of wickedness of spiritual oppression and possession  ...  Prayer is War!

You say, "I pray, but I've never seen an angel, heard a voice, or gotten anything special."  You, and thousands of others say the same thing, but who says that can't change?  Why can't we move into the Awakened realm of God in Spirit, Power, Glory, Miracles, Signs, and Wonders?  We must be in tune with the Holy Ghost, filled with the Holy Ghost, and moving in the Holy Ghost  ... then, expect it; "Nothing is impossible with God."

"Holy Habits" move a Holy God and we must approach
Him with faith as a little child!
