"Whisper's Voice"

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life  for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(Mark 8:34-37)

What does the Creator of the universe think about?  When He whispers, what is His motive?  If He could only say one thing for all eternity, what would it be?  It would be the scriptures in Mark noted above.  "How do you know?" you ask.  The consensus of the Holy Bible tells us so.  The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us; Jesus Christ has One goal  ...  to reach every soul with the redemption message.  He suffered for it, died for it, rose again for it, He's coming back for it, He'll wake us up for it, He'll shake the earth for it, Your auditory channel should be tuned for it, it's the sound of the hour  ...  "Whisper's Voice."

"But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him."
(I Corinthians 2:9)

The ponderings of the One who sits upon the circle of the earth, and longs for the days of the Garden of Eden, before the fall of man, are the sounds echoed in the breezes of springtime, 2013, to a world doing its own thing, not hearing the call of the whisper in the wind.  The soulful  melancholy drippings of a lonesome God are borne in the showers from heaven upon a clambering bustling earth in the midst of the season  ...  What season?  The season of Birth, the time of life, the moment to bring forth, the blooming of the fig tree, the time of deliverance  ...

"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy
in the presence of the angels of God over
one sinner that repenteth."
(Luke 15:10)

It's been thousands of years since the virgin birth, the death, the resurrection, but to our Lord Jesus Christ, a day is as a thousand years; so, to Him, it was just like yesterday, and it was all for "one sinner that repenteth.".  He was just a baby, but He was God, and He remembers the smells of the stable, the Holy light emitting from Him; then, the day He preached to gaping-mouthed Doctors in the Temple, and on to the aroma of fresh wood shavings in the carpenter shop; the days turned to years, and there was the marriage at Cana and the water turned to wine.

Jesus Christ is overtaken with moods of nostalgia as He recalls the multitudes so hungry for the Word that they stayed and stayed, so He fed them with miracle food; He is moved with a thrust of compassion as He replays in His mind all the miracles, raising Lazarus, and stepping through seagoing waves to get to His disciples.  He shutters with the feel of blood flowing from the thorns in His brow, the pain of the nails being driven, hammered deep into His hands and feet, and the spear like a steel girder being slammed into His side; then, "It Is Finished."

He glows with Glory as He relives His resurrection; He would do it all again, He thinks, as He considers the salvation of the world  ...  And now, as He dispatches angels as this one and that one repents, in Africa, Asia, Europe  ... it's like wildfire as He pours from Himself, and His Spirit erupts in tongues of fire in Nation after Nation  ...  He stands upon the circle of the earth and says, "Come Unto Me, all ye who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

"Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that '
believeth on me hath everlasting life."
(John 6:47)

It started with a baby, a Holy miraculous birth  ...  it was the wonder of a "thought" perpetuated for all of creation and reciprocated with simple words of depth of soul, "Be it unto me according to thy word."  It was a visit from beyond that stayed for all eternity, reliving and reviving in the hearts of men from moment to moment, day to day, resulting in Spirit outpourings of tongues of fire, rained down from that baby who grew up to be quite a Man.

The rustlings in the treetops beckon the curious seeking hungry ones to listen for a sound, an answer, a solution, a result, a sweet nothing, from the lover of our souls.  What is God thinking? Does He know I'm alive?  Can He feel my pain?  Will He answer my cry?  Does He see my tears?  It's the query of all those sitting at His feet, waiting for His response, seeking His face, and longing for Him.  Leave not your position, dear one; the answer comes in the duration and patience of your wait  ... it comes in a treasured moment in time, it's the sound of Your Lord, Your Savior, Your Redeemer and God; it's "Whisper's Voice."
