Win, Won, Done!

And he said to them, “Follow me, and
I will make you fishers of men.”
(Matthew 4:19)

Jesus and His Apostles

Why did Jesus Christ choose apostles?  Why did He spend so much time with them?  Why did the Apostles leave everything behind to follow Jesus?  It can be summed up in three words, three words that apply to Christians today, three words applicable to the Church and Bride of Christ, and it was born from the Book of Acts  ...  "Win, Won, Done!"

Jesus Christ when they have repented of their sins, baptized in His name, and filled with the Holy Ghost, Acts 2, 8, 10 and 19.  When is it ""What in the world are you talking about?" you ask.  It's a very good question.  The Apostles were chosen, instructed, taught, molded, and sent out to do what?  To "win" souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.  They are "won" to the Lord Done?"  We'll get to that  ...  It's all a process of the gospel of Jesus Christ; it's what He died for; it's the saving grace of humanity; it's the harvest of the world; it's the contract that settles eternity; it's the difference between evil and righteousness  ...  it's called an Apostle of Jesus Christ, a Christian, a Saint of the living God, and it happens when a "fisherman" WINS us, and we're WON to newness of life, and filled with living waters that never run dry.  So, when are we DONE?  We'll get to that  ...

"As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,
Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were
casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen."
(Matthew 4:18)

"At once they left their nets and followed him."
(Matthew 4:20)

Would Jesus have accomplished His goal without the Apostles, and His Church established in the Acts?  No.  Can the world be saved without current day Preachers, Apostles, Prophets, Teachers and Evangelists?  No.  What?  When Jesus Christ said, "It Is Finished" on the cross; it was  ...  His part.  He rose the third day, and said He would send back His spirit, the Holy Ghost, which would lead humanity into all truth.  He, then, commanded the Apostles to go and wait in the Upper Room until they would be endued with power from on high, Acts 2, and then they were to Go and take the gospel to the entire world.  They were to introduce the Lord of Lords and King of Kings to every living person and WIN them; then, they were to lay hands on them to receive the Holy Ghost and fire, and they would be WON to the power of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Ah, and it's still going on today, over 580 million people, and counting, have received the Holy Ghost and spoken in tongues, worldwide!  We are living in the days of fulfillment of Joel 2:28, Spirit upon ALL flesh!  But, when is it DONE?  We'll come to that  ...

This thing called LIFE has a created origin, a purpose, a plan, a goal, and an end.  We're not just wandering around earth to make a living, get rich, spend that money and see how many trinkets we can gather.  What's life all about?  To WIN and to be WON!  Huh?  The Lord Jesus Christ asked Job a good question, "Where were You when I laid the foundation of the world?"  It's the question of the hour.  This whole thing is about "You're gonna' serve somebody," the song says; "It may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you're gonna' serve somebody."  And, so it is.  Who are we serving; what are we doing, and where are we going?  Those are the golden Number One questions for creation, the "dust" formed into man.  And, when we figure it out wisely, we will be WON and we will WIN.  What about the Done?  We're coming to that  ...

"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams."
(Acts 2:17)
