"The Waiting Game"

"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless
thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt
be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and
curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all
families of the earth be blessed."
(Genesis 12:2-3)

How many of us are still waiting?  Waiting for what?  Waiting for a promise to be fulfilled, waiting for the blessing breathed into our spirits, waiting for that gut feeling to be manifested, waiting for that one to do their part so we can do our part, waiting to do what our hearts say we will do, waiting for that Word to be manifested, waiting for the dream groaning in our souls to Awaken, waiting  ...  It's called "The Waiting Game."

Humans are not good at waiting; we like drive-thru fast food, fast service, fast appointments; we want everything to happen NOW; we want it to occur "lightning" fast.  With God, however, a day is as a thousand years!  What?  Yeah, we're dealing with the Master and Creator of "Wait."  In the realm of mathematics, it's a model in which the participant has partial control.  Ah, sounds a little like us and God, doesn't it?  Actually, if we are absolutely honest, and we are totally surrendered to our Lord Jesus Christ, we have no control; He's the driver; we're just along for the ride!  That lightning fast answer rarely happens.  Why?  It's a process of molding, trusting, learning, growing, stretching, bowing, climbing, becoming, rising, and believing  ...

The Bible is full of them, those who waited:  Joseph, accused falsely and thrown in prison to "wait;" Job, sitting in the dust covered with boils, having lost all of his children, his servants, his assets, and his health, and now he is just "waiting" to die; Elijah, in deep depression hiding and "waiting" in a cave, thinking he was the only prophet left; Abraham, told he would be the father of many nations, but Sarah was barren, and he "waited;" Noah "waited" over a hundred years while he built the Ark, and then he "waited" a year in the Ark after the flood before he could leave it; and then there was David, who "waited" knowing his son would have to die because of his sins with Bathsheba, he "waited" about 15 years from the time he was first anointed by Samuel to the time he became king over Judah, and then it was another seven years before he was anointed king over all of Israel, so David waited over 20 years of his life to be made King.  The list continues with the Bible examples in the game of "Wait."

Are you in the game?  You say, "I don't like that, this is not a game; I am really tired of waiting."  I hear you, but we are "all" waiting for something, someone, some way, some amount, some day, some hope, some sign, some wonder, some miracle, some deliverance, some Word  ...

"Whoever keeps a fig-tree will have its fruit; and the servant
waiting on his master will be honored."  Proverbs 27:18

"And those who have knowledge of  Your Name will put their
faith in You; because You, Lord, have ever given Your help
to those who were waiting for You."  Psalms 9:10

"And so, as the result of patient waiting, our forefather
obtained what God had promised."  Hebrews 6:15

"And not only so, but let us have joy in our troubles; in the
knowledge that trouble gives us the power of waiting.  And
waiting gives experience; and experience, hope: and hope
does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His
love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has gven us."
(Romans 5:4-5)

There, we have it; stalwart people who waited, a sampling of some mighty and powerful scriptures encouraging us while we "abide," and you're nervously reading this thinking, "Hurry up with it, already!"  Uh huh, we're the laser generation that seeks a zap, a whiff, a whim, and a wisp, when God is desiring a walk, a wallow, a wander, a want, and a wait in His designated desert places of higher learning and wisdom  ...  They're just a "wait" away  ...

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and
and they shall walk, and not faint."
(Isaiah 40:31)

"The Strength Of Faith"

"For everyone born of God overcomes the world.
This is the victory that has overcome the
world, even our faith."
(1 John 5:4)

"And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."
(Epesians 6:17)

The War is on!  Huh?  We have entered into the last days before the Rapture of the Church, the battle of Armageddon, the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ  ...  and so, the Battle is on; you don't think the Church is just going to waltz into heaven, do you?  No, no, we're in for the fight of our lives  ...  it's called the emergence of power in the soldiers of Christ, the thing that separates the fighters from the quitters, the rise of the Spirit of God dwelling in God's people  ... "The Strength Of Faith."

The enemy, satan, and his cohorts, are on the move to kill, steal, and destroy the newborn lambs of God, the newly born again and saved; they're on the prowl to take down, even the elect, if they can; they're attacking and foraging the blessings of God coming down.  So, what do we do?  We institute the plan of "Health, Wealth and Warfare," by 'unsheathing our swords,' by knowing and using the Word of God, which is our sword, and by wearing the full armor of God.  This is not a game; we are in for the fight of our lives, and it's a spiritual battle, won by prayer, battling in the Spirit, fasting, consecration, power in the Holy Ghost, being covered with His blood, flaming the Name of Jesus Christ, and walking in the Spirit, so we do not give way to the lusts of the flesh  ...  It is a war for holiness  ...

"He put on righteousness as his breastplate, and the helmet of
salvation on his head; he put on the garments of vengeance and
wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak."
(Isaiah 59:17)

Rise up, O Warrior, and fight the good fight of faith!  We're not alone in this war; we have innumerable angels at our beck and call, that is, if we're prayed up, filled up, washed up, girded up, anointed up, Worded up  ... you get the picture; we can't fight a battle if we're not in the army.  What?  The army of God has requirements:  Repent, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.  Now  ...  You're in the army and you can call on the angels for help.  Thank You, Lord!  There are battles in the heavenlies, battles in earth, battles in the Spirit, battles for your soul, battles to hinder our answers, battles for our children and families, battles against the truth, battles against the Word, battles to thwart the gospel  ...  it's WAR, my friends, and we must be fully armored, without fear, strong in the Lord and the power of His might; we must mount up as Eagles, and STAND with our sword, the Holy Bible, and in the Spirit  ...  the Holy Ghost!

"You give me your shield of victory; you stoop down to make me great," as it says in 2 Samuel 22:36.  If that doesn't lift you up, "you is daid."  Daid .. DEAD!  It's no time to be dead; we must be awake, alert, and lapping the water from our hands as we watch for the enemy.

"He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,
in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made
me into a polished arrow and concealed
me in his quiver."
(Isaiah 49:2)

Fight, Fight, Fight for your health, your wealth, and your warfare.  We shall overcome; we will conquer; the horns of the altar will be our station; the Word will be our weapon; the Spirit will be our wisdom; and we will go forth and win  ...  How do we know we win?  We've read the back of the Book!  What should be the word for this hour?  CHARGE!  We have the Lion of the tribe of Judah on our side, and we're headed for the Kingdom; we're beckoned by the aromas of the Garden; the Rivers of Life glisten in our peripheral vision; the white horses are pawing the ground for the triumphant ride; and the Angel has the trumpet to his mouth  ...  We're on the Home stretch  ...

Speaking of Angels  ...  It will take only ONE Angel to cast satan into the Lake of Fire, just one.  We have multitudes of Angels assisting in this war, so we have nothing to fear; we have our God; we have polished and donned our equipment; we Eagles have soared into position; we are ready for Victory!  We know the Angels have our backs; the Lord of Lords and King of Kings goes before us; the Word is our "tank;" the armies are the Saints of the living God; and the One who knows all things has already laid out the battle plan.  March on  ...

This thing called Life is really a battleground; it's a ferocious fight between spirit and flesh; a warring between the Word and the world; it's satan's last stand before he goes down; it's the tribulation of the Saints; it is a blood battle for souls; it is the emerging of the LION; it is "The Strength Of Faith."

NO MORE DELAY!

And he swore by him who lives forever and ever,
who created the heavens and all that is in them,
the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all
that is in it, and said,
"There will be no more delay!"
(Revelation 10:6)

When earth cries out, "No More Delay," matching with the cry of heaven, Get Ready!  It's THE NEW CHURCH ORDER!  The Church has become impatient, and that's good, because the Bride sets the wedding date!  The Word of the Prophet, the cry of the Bride, the PUSH from earth and the PUSH from heaven  ...  All are saying the same thing, moving in the same direction, and it will bring an unprecedented surge of the power of God in earth; the time has come; the hour is here, and there will be  "NO MORE DELAY!"

No More Delay for what?  Miracles, Signs, and Wonders; money to market truth; New Church Order; Worldwide Revival; Spirit upon all flesh; the UNITY of the body of Jesus Christ; every knee bowing to The Creator; One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism; the Flame of the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord; the glorious end time fulfillment of all things; the sound of the trumpet, the coming of the Lord of Lords and King of Kings to take back His beloved earth   ...  That's what!  ...

It's TIME for the Power of the Lord to be released in earth.  You say, "But, only God can do that."  WE are His hands, His feet, His voice in earth; and even as the apostles were sent forth to heal, deliver, and cast out devils; so are WE, the Church, sent forth to do the same thing, and more!

The altar is drenched with prayers and tears, with humility and holy consecration, with fasting often; and now, we're ready for the fire!  NO MORE DELAY, Dear Lord; send down the fire!  Send down the Power, Send down the rain, Send down the Glory, Send down the Spirit, Send down Your Angels, and Send down the blessings  ... Not to heap it all on ourselves, O Lord, but for Your kingdom, Your Glory, Your Spirit upon all flesh, Your presence in the earth, we pray!

The mystery shall be finished when the seventh
angel shall sound.

Vincent Word Studies says it like this: "The meaning is not, as popularly understood, that time shall cease to exist, but that there shall be no more delay before the fulfillment of the divine purposes respecting the Church on earth.  Possibly with allusion to the cry how long." (Revelation 6:10)

Matthew Henry's commentary ends it beautifully: "The final salvation of the righteous, and the final success of true religion on earth, are engaged for by the unfailing word of the Lord.  Though the time may not be yet, it cannot be far distant.  Very soon, as to us, time shall be no more; but if we are believers, a happy eternity will follow: we shall from heaven behold and rejoice in the triumphs of Christ, and his cause on earth."

The bottom line?  Heaven, in the Book of Revelation, is calling for "no more delay;" speaking of the fulfillment of the judgments upon earth in the tribulation period, as consolation for the martyrs and the Church as a whole.  Now, we here in earth, are calling for "no more delay"  ...  the sound of heaven and the sound of earth are the same, with a somewhat different meaning  ...  The cry of "No more delay" in earth is to equip us, the Church, to finish the work "of redemption," so that He can then take the Church out of here  ...  The cry of "No more delay" in heaven is to finish the work of judgment and begin the thousand years of peace.  Both cries produce monumental happenings  ...

"NO MORE DELAY" is a profound statement which completes the circle of heaven and earth.  We have reached the time when the sounds of heaven are the sounds of earth, "in earth as it is in heaven," and when this happens; it's TIME to board the train, but we must have a ticket.  The ticket is coming to the Lord Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins with sincerity and Godly sorrow, being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, and being filled with the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives us the utterance  ...  ALL Aboard!

O, Lord, have mercy, for it's better to hear "No more delay" from earth for the souls of men, than to hear it in heaven when time shall be no more.  Send, O Lord, one more revival, one more outpouring, one more influx of blessing to accomplish Your will, one more move of Miracles, Signs, and Wonders, and please send it with "NO MORE DELAY!"

"Forced Falls"

"..God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses.  And he said, Here am I.  And he said, Draw not nigh hither; put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground."(Exodus 3:4-5) The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knows how to bring us to our knees, whether it's appearing to us in a burning bush, writing on the wall of a banquet room in the midst of a feast, sending an angel to say we are chosen, or calling to us through a bright light  ...  these things are "Forced Falls."

"..And suddenly there shined round about him
a light from heaven: and he fell to the earth,
and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul,
why persecutest thou me?"
(Acts 9:3-4)

This was the conversion of Paul.  He had spent his life persecuting and killing christians, but, God  ...  Note these words, "But, God,"  intervened!  God is the Master of intervention; He knows how to get our attention!  In our lives, the greatest thing that could ever happen in any of our situations, dilemmas, tragedies, triumphs, victories, successes, and miracles, is to note "that" awesome and stupendous changing moment when we said  ... "But, God!"  No matter what we're going through; if we belong to Jesus Christ; we know after prayer, we can say, "I was going under  .. But, God!  ...  I was getting a divorce  ..  But, God!  ...  I was consumed with cancer and given weeks to live  ..  But, God!   ...  I lost everything to flood, fire, or foreclosure and thought I would not survive  ..  But, God!  Ah, those beautiful words, "But, God made a way where there was no way; I was blessed with more than I had before; my body is healthy and clear of disease; my husband came home when I thought it was over!"  ...  "But, God!"

Our "But God" probably started with a "forced fall" though  ...  a drop to our knees, a falling on our faces, a posture of surrender, a humble contrition of the flesh to accommodate The Spirit!  Ah, the "fall"  ....  We discover new worlds on our knees; we get vision on our knees; "the doing of the matter" first takes "praying for the matter!"  We conquer in the Spirit; then, we go out and take the spoils!  We can only lose sight of the shore when we are seeing through the eyes of the One with the world view!

Jesus said to him, "Away from me Satan!"
For it is written, "Worship the Lord your God,
   and serve him only."
(Matthew 4:10)

Moses did it; Daniel did it; Paul did it; Prophets did it; sinners did it; people possessed with devils did it; and even satan did it  ...  they fell before the Lord.  Some fell on their backs; some fell on their faces; some knelt in humility, but the point is:  they all had "forced falls" before the Lord God of the universe.  And, there's coming another one, "For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."(Romans 14:11)  Why is this important?  We are beholden to the One who created us; we realize we are but dust; we would have no mind, no body, no spirit or soul without God; we are creation worshiping the Creator!  It is the natural order of things that we bow before the only One who IS DNA, who started the beginning and consummates the end, who is Alpha and Omega, who is the First and the Last, who Was, and Is, and Is to come, the Almighty God, the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ!

Moses and Joshua in the Temple

Moses and Joshua knelt before the Ark, which at that period of time in history represented the presence of God.  There has always been a people who worshiped God, who bowed before Him, and who respected His Diety.  Falling on our faces before God will only increase, because the "times" call for it.  It is not in man to surrender, because in our flesh dwelleth no good thing, but the spirit is willing even though the flesh is weak.  All over the world, peoples of every Nation, kindred and tongue are seeing there is a higher power at force here.  The Bible is coming to pass before our eyes; the headlines are Bible prophecies; the prophetic fire of the Word is flaming all around us; it's time to "fall"  ...

We are never taller than when we are on our knees; we are never prouder than when we are humbled!  "What?" you say.  One definition of "proud" is having a proper amount of self respect.  Respect literally means thoughtfulness or consideration.  So, when we humble ourselves, we are presenting our bodies, souls, minds, and spirits in thoughtful consideration of our Creator.  It is a very proud or respectful thing for a human body to do.

Only in earth are we hesitant to "fall" on our knees; many do it willingly, some do it forcefully when the "wind" knocks their feet out from under them; some do it as a ritual; but "all" will do it before long  ... and one day it will become a thing of the past!  What?  We'll be in a new place, robed in white, having obeyed the salvation message ... repentant, filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ  ... And, it will be no more a "forced fall," but a "free fall!"  We'll be free of sorrows, free of tears, free of heartache, free of pain  ... we'll fall out of love, adoration, freedom from mortal flesh, and wonder at the Throne of God; we'll cast our crowns as our knees hit golden streets, and we'll cry Holy, Holy, Holy, to The One who reigns forevermore!

Everything "perfected" in life requires a little bit of practice  ... Let's "fall!"
