T O M O R R O W

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,
"plans to prosper you and not to harm you,
plans to give you hope and a future."
(Jeremiah 29:11)

What do You see for Your Tomorrow?  You say, "I don't see much brightness there."  Well, You've come to the right place, because by the time You get to the end of this, I pray Your heart will be lifted, Your spirit calmed, Your soul encouraged, and Your smile returned!

The heart of the matter lies above Your head.  If You belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, Your life is in His hands, and He will make a way where there is no way.  You say, "But I've prayed and prayed; nothing ever changes."  Now, it's time for You to start praising Him and thanking Him!  "But, nothing has happened yet," you say.  Exactly.  If we believe in our hearts that He hears our prayers, and He does, if we are very repentant and come to Him without sin, we must then "believe" that He will answer.  What will He answer?  Yes, No, or Wait.  In all things, He will give us peace for the journey.  We can always depend on the fact that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and we must always be willing to do whatever He asks us to do.  Blessings come from our obedience to Him, and remember, we reap what we sow  ...  Give away the "essence" of Your need  ...  And, watch what will happen.

I knew an elderly blind lady once, who had no help, no money, and no food.  I cleaned out all of my cupboards and gave her all the food I had.  I didn't have much, and I had a young daughter of my own, but I felt that's what the Lord wanted me to do, so I did it  ...  And, I trusted that God would take care of us.  My daughter came home from school that day, and as she approached the back door, she told me later that she looked up to heaven and said, "God, I really wish we had some food."  When she reached the door, there were sacks and sacks of groceries and an ice chest full of meat on the porch of the back doorstep, with an anonymous note, which read, "You are loved and cared for and needed."  My daughter said, "Boy, that was fast."  To this day, I do not know where it came from, because I had told no one about this lady and what I had done  ...  However, it was providence; the mighty hand of a Holy God was involved in some "other" precious "obedient" heart.  Over the years, my God mercifully allowed me to help this lady until she went into a Nursing home; God never failed to supply my needs, after helping her.

One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I
seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of  my life, to gaze upon the beauty
of the LORD and to inquire in his temple.  For he
will hide me in his shelter in the day of
trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of
his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock."
(Psalm 27:4-5)

"The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one
who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you
with loud singing."
(Zephaniah 3:17)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
in believing, so that by the power of
the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
(Romans 15:13)

"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I
fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness,
the LORD shall be a light unto me."
(Micah 7:8)

We can be in the worst of situations and have Joy; our hearts can be broken asunder and yet, we have a perfect peace; we can wonder from where our next meal will come, and we can know that our Lord will supply our needs; tears may swamp our pillows, but we feel the brush of angels' wings; we may wonder about our "tomorrow," but we can look up and say, "It is well."

"So we do not lose heart.  Though our outer self is wasting
away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an
eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as
we look not to the things that are seen but to the things
that are unseen.  For the things that are seen are
transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

"Keep Our Eyes On The Prize"

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us."
(Hebrews 12:1)

It's not so hard to run the race when we can see where it is we are going.  Feast your eyes, Children of God, on the photograph above taken by NASA's Hubble Telescope on December 26.  In 1994, a researcher was smuggled one top-secret photo which was taken and presumed to be "heaven."   In an interview about the photo, Dr. Masson states, "From what I understand, the first images it received were nothing more than kaleidoscopic bursts of color and light.  As adjustments were made and the focus sharpened, NASA analysts couldn't believe their eyes.  After checking and rechecking the data, they concluded that the images were authentic."  The Race has a Prize; the Prize has a throne; the throne has a King; and the City has a Gate  ...  Keep running, Saints; we must "Keep Our Eyes On The Prize."

We, who are running the race, are not surprised.  John, on the Isle of Patmos saw the New Jerusalem and heaven in a vision and recorded it in the Book of Revelation.  We had a description from John and we've basked in our own imaginations of what "that City," to which we are going, looks like.  But now, our Lord Jesus Christ has sent a photo to urge us on.  Run, children, run; the image is complete, and the Prize is in view!

"Where were you when I laid the
foundation of the world?"
(Job 38:4)

How small is "man" in the scope of things.  God, space, the mighty, huge universe, and the vastness of "forever," are things humans must remember when we think "we" can run our own lives, when we think we have no where to turn, when our woes and troubles overwhelm us, when we think our lives do not matter.  Your Creator wants to say to you who are reading this, who think you don't want to live, or who have a debilitating disease and you've given up hope:

YOU SHALL LIVE AND NOT DIE!

The Lord Jesus Christ, our Holy God, has created a place for us so lovely; we can only dream of its Glory.  He did that for you and me.  Your life has purpose.  He asked that question, "Where were you..." of Job, because He was trying to show Him that he was not in control of his own life or problems, that there is ONE higher, greater, mightier than he, who rules the world, who creates and makes alive, who heals and delivers, who performs miracles, and restores  ...  He IS God!

Give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, tell Him you're sorry for every sin you ever committed, and the sin of "wanting to die;" ask Him to fill you with His Spirit, and go and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ  ...  then, watch Him lift you from your ashes to a place of beauty and Joy.  He Will!

I Pray for you now:  Lord Jesus, please touch every
person who is reading this message.  I rebuke and curse
cancer and every disease to its roots; I speak to tumors
and command them to dry up and disappear by the Name of
Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of Jesus.  I
speak to finances, people without jobs, wayward children of
families, and struggles with teenagers: line up with the
Word of God; you will have jobs - go apply again, teens
will turn around, and finances will be blessed - go give
something, however little it may be, to someone else in
need, and watch!  What you sow, you will reap.  I speak
to those who do not want to live -  Taking your life will
take you to a place you do not want to be; I speak Hope
into you now!  Call out to Jesus Christ, and Live!

"The Eye of God" by Hubble Telescope

The heavens declare the Glory of God!  All we have to do is look into the eternal space, stare in awe at millions of stars on a dark twinkling night, be drawn to the moon's glowing awe on a lonely eve of query, gaze with wonder at the painted hues of an orange and purple splashed sunset, and smile at the thrill of the cascading rainbow after a raging thundering storm, to realize that this is not all there is.  There's a Holy hand that paints, draws, and splashes the heavens  ...  maybe it's to draw our eyes "up," to beckon His creation to their Creator to cause us to yearn for His arms reaching down, or maybe it's His heart of love grasping through the heavens for those He died for and longs for them to be with Him for all eternity.

The Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God, loves You and me with an everlasting love; we cannot fathom the depth of His love for His creation.  He's impatient for His Bride, the Church, to begin her honeymoon, and we must hasten His impatience; the Bride sets the wedding date  ...  Run faster, Saints; we must gather the sheaves quickly and "Keep Our Eyes On The Prize."

Every now and then, our Bridegroom sends us a love note
in the sky above:

"Whisper's Voice"

"And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life  for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?  Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(Mark 8:34-37)

What does the Creator of the universe think about?  When He whispers, what is His motive?  If He could only say one thing for all eternity, what would it be?  It would be the scriptures in Mark noted above.  "How do you know?" you ask.  The consensus of the Holy Bible tells us so.  The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us; Jesus Christ has One goal  ...  to reach every soul with the redemption message.  He suffered for it, died for it, rose again for it, He's coming back for it, He'll wake us up for it, He'll shake the earth for it, Your auditory channel should be tuned for it, it's the sound of the hour  ...  "Whisper's Voice."

"But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard,
neither have entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that love him."
(I Corinthians 2:9)

The ponderings of the One who sits upon the circle of the earth, and longs for the days of the Garden of Eden, before the fall of man, are the sounds echoed in the breezes of springtime, 2013, to a world doing its own thing, not hearing the call of the whisper in the wind.  The soulful  melancholy drippings of a lonesome God are borne in the showers from heaven upon a clambering bustling earth in the midst of the season  ...  What season?  The season of Birth, the time of life, the moment to bring forth, the blooming of the fig tree, the time of deliverance  ...

"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy
in the presence of the angels of God over
one sinner that repenteth."
(Luke 15:10)

It's been thousands of years since the virgin birth, the death, the resurrection, but to our Lord Jesus Christ, a day is as a thousand years; so, to Him, it was just like yesterday, and it was all for "one sinner that repenteth.".  He was just a baby, but He was God, and He remembers the smells of the stable, the Holy light emitting from Him; then, the day He preached to gaping-mouthed Doctors in the Temple, and on to the aroma of fresh wood shavings in the carpenter shop; the days turned to years, and there was the marriage at Cana and the water turned to wine.

Jesus Christ is overtaken with moods of nostalgia as He recalls the multitudes so hungry for the Word that they stayed and stayed, so He fed them with miracle food; He is moved with a thrust of compassion as He replays in His mind all the miracles, raising Lazarus, and stepping through seagoing waves to get to His disciples.  He shutters with the feel of blood flowing from the thorns in His brow, the pain of the nails being driven, hammered deep into His hands and feet, and the spear like a steel girder being slammed into His side; then, "It Is Finished."

He glows with Glory as He relives His resurrection; He would do it all again, He thinks, as He considers the salvation of the world  ...  And now, as He dispatches angels as this one and that one repents, in Africa, Asia, Europe  ... it's like wildfire as He pours from Himself, and His Spirit erupts in tongues of fire in Nation after Nation  ...  He stands upon the circle of the earth and says, "Come Unto Me, all ye who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

"Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that '
believeth on me hath everlasting life."
(John 6:47)

It started with a baby, a Holy miraculous birth  ...  it was the wonder of a "thought" perpetuated for all of creation and reciprocated with simple words of depth of soul, "Be it unto me according to thy word."  It was a visit from beyond that stayed for all eternity, reliving and reviving in the hearts of men from moment to moment, day to day, resulting in Spirit outpourings of tongues of fire, rained down from that baby who grew up to be quite a Man.

The rustlings in the treetops beckon the curious seeking hungry ones to listen for a sound, an answer, a solution, a result, a sweet nothing, from the lover of our souls.  What is God thinking? Does He know I'm alive?  Can He feel my pain?  Will He answer my cry?  Does He see my tears?  It's the query of all those sitting at His feet, waiting for His response, seeking His face, and longing for Him.  Leave not your position, dear one; the answer comes in the duration and patience of your wait  ... it comes in a treasured moment in time, it's the sound of Your Lord, Your Savior, Your Redeemer and God; it's "Whisper's Voice."
