Nobody Is A "Nobody"
There are multitudes of people who feel they are unknown to Almighty God and that they are "nobodies," but God knew them in the womb! They are known by Jesus Christ our Lord, but we have work to do to join the "unknown" hand to the "known" hand of God.
Be all you can be and do all you can do
for the many and the few
The hurting need a hand and it might
as well be you
It takes a little time, dollars, and
swallowing of pride
To go to the homeless, the dirty, and
search where they hide
But remember you’re blessed;
you’ve been set free
And Jesus said, “If you do it unto these,
you do it unto me.”
"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a prophet unto
the nations."
(Jeremiah 1:5)
Everybody is a "somebody" to God. Almighty God crowns us with value before we are ever born, and He has an ordained plan for each one of us. We have only to climb that mountain of obedience to His Word to receive that crown. Life has anointed intersections for the child of God, and even for those who think they are "unknown" to God. How many Paul's, Peter's or Jeremiah's are still out there waiting for "directions" to that anointed intersection? "Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." (Psalm 139:16) If you think you are a "nobody," this is for you!
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall
direct thy paths."
(Proverbs 3:6)
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) We have every reason to rejoice, for the Lord will make a way where there is no way; He will lift us up, go before us, and rain hope in every area of our lives. You say, "But you don't know what's happened to me, or what I'm going through." I know this! Jesus Christ, our Lord, said He would give us hope, and He will ... Believe! Sometimes, we need to say it out loud, "I Believe You, Lord!" The Lord is good, when? All the time! It never hurts to gives ourselves a pep talk, when there's no one around but the enemy screaming in our ears. "Weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the morning!"
It's an old cliche', but it's true; "there's always someone worse off than we are." When we take the hand of someone who thinks they're "nobody," we all become "somebody," and then our hands reach around the world to "everybody" and we become "One Body" for our Lord Jesus Christ!
