"Leaving The Quiver!"

"That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather

 together in one all things in Christ, both which are in 

heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"

(Ephesians 1:10)

Earth is in the quiver; souls are in the quiver; God's saints are in

 the quiver; it's a waiting upon fullness of time

It happens for all things under the auspices of a Holy God; it is

 in the hands of the Father, moving in His prime

Those in tune wonder at the ticking of the clock and when the

 chime will sound; it's a holy hidden delay

Only those not looking and listening will not know that the arrow

 has been drawn, and to them will be dismay

The time to every purpose is set in stone and the days to obey are

 coming to a close; the seconds are fading

It's a countdown for the world to heed the Master's call and wave

 the white flag of surrender; He's waiting 

The quiver has held this arrow of time for thousands of years, but

 when it's time for the arrow to fly, it will 

The target from heaven's view is a world that knows not what's

 really coming; prophecy will be fulfilled

We know the Holy Word describes it, the time when the Church

 Age is over, but we cannot know the horrid scene

We must obey Acts 2:38 before it's too late, and be ready when the

secret is unsealed; to this we must be keen

The waiting arrow represents time; it applies to blessings as well

 as judgment; the arrow holds the final deed

Our lives consist of sowing and reaping, with the result in due

 time, from the planting of the sown seed

All await "the moment" when the dream is wide awake, when the

  Vision assumes its place, and when time blooms

Time tells the story of souls filled with His Spirit and baptized in

 His name, or of Hell's guests with fiery fumes

Wisdom says to get ready, stay alert, and be listening for the

 sound; it's a blast of destiny for the souls saved

And for those not in tune; it will be a final shalom, a disappearing

 act in 1/42nd of a second, with not even a wave

The world now is feeling the moment; it's shaking and quaking

 under pressure of the clock; it's in a dither 

The arrow's being drawn to fly to its target, and much of earth is

 unaware that the arrow's "Leaving The Quiver!"

"War Wounds"

But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."
The man asked him, "What is your name?"
"Jacob," he answered. 

Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, 

but Israel, because you have struggled with God 

and with men and have overcome."
(Genesis 32)

"When he saw that he had not prevailed against him, 

he touched the socket of his thigh; so the socket of Jacob's 
thigh was dislocated while he wrestled with him."

(Genesis 32:25)

Blessed, broken and given  ... the three that encompass "the limp." It is in brokenness that we discover the deepest things of God; it is when our wills crack and break asunder that we realize WE are not God; it is when we've fought long and hard and we're sitting in ashes that we look Up for the beauty; it is when we are truly broken that we SEE the glory shining through our Creator in His fullness; it is in the break and the stretch that we become strong  ...  

 

The apostle Paul learned this concept in a very strong persistent way (2 Cor. 4:6-12; 12:7-10).  Afflicted, stoned, persecuted, perplexed, broken down, “always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.  For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.  So death works in us, but life in you.” (2 Cor. 4:10-12).  If you are a Christian and you haven't experienced this place of "brokenness;" you will.

Have you ever prayed, "God, use me!"  Sure, most of us have prayed that prayer, but little did we know of the resulting painful consequences  ... To be used of Almighty God means to become like Him in every way, and show forth His glory  ...  mortal flesh can't do that effectively within itself; it must be remade, molded, shaped, and crushed so that the sweet aroma of Jesus Christ, our Lord, comes through.  In this flesh of ours dwells no good thing  ... A rose sends forth the most potent scent when it is crushed  ...  The Bible gives us examples of brokenness  ... Abraham and Job could tell us about it  ...

You say, "What kind of God is that, who would treat us like that?" He will not put on us what we do not ask for!  If we asked to be used; if we ask to become more like Him; if we ask for Him to show us His glory; if we ask to be taken higher; if we ask to know Him in His fullness   ...  Be prepared!  Those are prayers He longs for and prayers He longs to answer.  When we push Him with words like, "I won't let You go, until you bless me;" or "Ye, Lord, but even the dogs eat of the crumbs under the table;" and we pray the words He admonished us to pray, like "Command Ye Me!;" then, we must be prepared, because we are dealing with the God of the Universe, The Almighty Creator, Wisdom personified, and who are we?  We are creation formed from "dust;" we are mere mortals; we are sheep reaching for our Shepherd.

       

What happens when God answers our requests that make Him whirl around on His heels and stare us down with steely blazing eyes? We become a glaring Moses, a pointing Deborah, a rescuing Joseph, a locust-eating John the Baptist, a powerful Paul, and a SEEing John on Patmos.  We become greater than we are, mighty in the power of God, anointed with fire shut up in our bones, earth-shakers, trailblazers, and a Father of Nations!

How do you know the prayer was answered, and the blessing occurred?  You just might walk with   ...  "a limp"  ...

"Keep Our Eyes On The Prize"

"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us." 

(Hebrews 12:1)

It's not so hard to run the race when we can see where it is we are going.  Feast your eyes, Children of God, on the photograph above taken by NASA's Hubble Telescope on December 26.  In 1994, a researcher was smuggled one top-secret photo which was taken and presumed to be "heaven."   In an interview about the photo, Dr. Masson states, "From what I understand, the first images it received were nothing more than kaleidoscopic bursts of color and light.  As adjustments were made and the focus sharpened, NASA analysts couldn't believe their eyes.  After checking and rechecking the data, they concluded that the images were authentic."  The Race has a Prize; the Prize has a throne; the throne has a King; and the City has a Gate  ...  Keep running, Saints; we must "Keep Our Eyes On The Prize."

We, who are running the race, are not surprised.  John, on the Isle of Patmos, saw the New Jerusalem and heaven in a vision and recorded it in the Book of Revelation.  We had a description from John and we've basked in our own imaginations of what "that City," to which we are going, looks like.  But now, our Lord Jesus Christ has sent a photo to urge us on.  Run, children, run; the image is complete, and the Prize is in view! Our Lord Jesus Christ said He was going away to prepare a place for us, that where He is, we may be also.  Oh, it's our Hope; it's our JOY; it's our Peace; it's our Comfort  ...  we know where we're going; there is nothing to fear for the child of God!

"Where were you when I laid the

foundation of the world?"

(Job 38:4)

How small is "man" in the scope of things.  God, space, the mighty, huge universe, and the vastness of "forever," are things humans must remember when we think "we" can run our own lives, when we think we have no where to turn, when our woes and troubles overwhelm us, when we think our lives do not matter.  Your Creator wants to say to you who are reading this, who think you don't want to live, or who have a debilitating disease and you've given up hope:

Underneath are His everlasting arms!

The Lord Jesus Christ, our Holy God, has created a place for us so lovely; we can only dream of its Glory.  He did that for you and me.  Your life has purpose.  He asked that question, "Where were you..." of Job, because He was trying to show him that he was not in control of his own life or problems, that there is ONE higher, greater, mightier than he, who rules the world, who creates and makes alive, who heals and delivers, who performs miracles, and restores  ...  He IS God!  This old world is not our home; we justa' passin' through!  That 80 or 90 years we spend here in earth is just a moment, compared to Eternity with our Almighty God.  Heaven is more real than this.  You ask, "How do you know?"  The Book of Revelation says so; it describes Heaven for us in Chapter 21  ...  Read it right here on this blog! 

Give  your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, tell Him you're sorry for every sin you ever committed, and the sin of "wanting to die;" ask Him to fill you with His Spirit, and go and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ  ...  then, watch Him lift you from your ashes to a place of beauty and Joy.  He Will!  Your tears are captured; they are not shed and wasted.  God bottles them up!  You are important to Him; He died for You; He rose again to give You life, and that more abundantly.  You say, "What I'm going through is not life; it feels like death."  The Lord can give you peace, even in the darkest of circumstances, in the midst of disease, in the times we are too weary to bear it; He carries us; His left hand is under our heads, and His right hand embraces us; He is just a "whisper" away  ...  Call out to Him, Jesus  ...  Jesus  ...  He is near  ...

I Pray for you now:  Lord Jesus, please touch every

person who is reading this message.  I rebuke and curse

 cancer and every disease to its roots; I speak to tumors

and command them to dry up and disappear by the Name of

Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of Jesus.  I

speak to finances, people without jobs, wayward children of

families, and struggles with teenagers: line up with the 

Word of God; you will have jobs - go apply again, teens

will turn around, and finances will be blessed - go give

something, however little it may be, to someone else in

need, and watch!  What you sow, you will reap.  I speak

to those who do not want to live -  Taking your life will

take you to a place you do not want to be; I speak Hope

into you now!  Call out to Jesus Christ, and Live!

The heavens declare the Glory of God!  All we have to do is look into the eternal space, stare in awe at millions of stars on a dark twinkling night, be drawn to the moon's glowing awe on a lonely eve of query, gaze with wonder at the painted hues of an orange and purple splashed sunset, and smile at the thrill of the cascading rainbow after a raging thundering storm, to realize that this is not all there is.  There's a Holy hand that paints, draws, and splashes the heavens  ...  maybe it's to draw our eyes "up," to beckon His creation to their Creator to cause us to yearn for His arms reaching down, or maybe it's His heart of love grasping through the heavens for those He died for and longs for them to be with Him for all eternity.

The Lord Jesus Christ, Almighty God, loves You and me with an everlasting love; we cannot fathom the depth of His love for His creation.  He's impatient for His Bride, the Church, to begin her honeymoon, and we must hasten His impatience; the Bride sets the wedding date  ...  Run faster, Saints; we must gather the sheaves quickly and "Keep Our Eyes On The Prize."
