"The Lamb"

 

 

"Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take

it out from the sheep, or from the goats:  And they shall take of the blood, and

strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein

they shall eat it.  And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes

on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is

the LORD'S passover.  For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night,

and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast;

and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD."

(Exodus 12:5, 7, 11 & 12)

 

"And the beast was allowed to wage war against God's holy people and to

conquer them. And he was given authority to rule over every tribe and

 people and language and nation. And all that dwell upon the earth shall

worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of

the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

(Revelation 13:7-8)

 

 

 

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!  Even as the blood of the passover lamb was slain and blood placed on the doorposts to protect the children of Israel, so is our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and His blood was shed for all of mankind, and placed on the doorposts of our hearts.  Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.  The old testament overflowed with the blood of animals used for the atonement of sin, but our Holy God, the Lord Jesus Christ, became flesh and dwelt among us.  He died and shed His blood on the cross, and "It Is Finished."  What is finished?  The shedding of blood for the remission of sins.  The Holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ, paid it all; never again will blood have to be shed to remit Sin.  Jesus Christ is our passover lamb, and He shed His blood for the souls of the whole world. 

 

"And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and

 to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you

purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation."

(Revelation 5:9)

 

If not for the blood shed by Jesus Christ on the cross, we would still be rounding up animals as they did in the old testament.  The blood of Jesus Christ covers us, protects us, washes us, redeems us, and we have a place with Him in heaven, because of calvary, the ultimate sacrifice for the Sins of the world.  The Lord Jesus Christ is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and He is the Lion of Judah.  He is the Lamb of love and tenderness, cleansing us and covering us   ...  and He is a Lion, who will judge the world in time to come for those who did not receive His blood, who did not obey His Word, and who were not filled with His Spirit and baptized in His name.  It's a plan to SAVE mankind from themselves, from evil, and to grant us admission to sit with Him in high places, and study war no more  ...  It's a good plan, a plan laid out in the Word of God, the Holy Bible, and a plan living in hearts, minds and souls today  ...  a plan of Redemption.

 

  

This is why we take communion today; the wafer is is symbol of the lamb slain, the broken flesh of Jesus Christ, and the grape juice is a symbol of the lamb's blood, the blood of Jesus Christ shed for you and me.  He said, "Do this in remembrance of Me."  And, we do.  It's beautiful, isn't it?  The "facts" of salvation  ...  it's not just a story, not just a tale, not just a saga of biblical exploits  ...  NO, it is a "fact" that Jesus Christ became our Passover Lamb!  Thank You, Lord.  We will not forget  ... we will never forget  ...

"The Same All Over The World"

Jesus Christ

"And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it,

and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is

given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the

new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."

(Luke 22:19-20)

It's the same all over the world.  What?  A teardrop, a smile, a drop of blood  ...  and the Lord Jesus Christ!  Jesus Christ went to the cross and shed His blood for the entire world, for every Nation, kindred and tongue, for all of mankind  ...  He loves the whole world with the same passion, and His Spirit, when poured out upon all flesh, is manifested with the same power and tongues of fire; it is the same love for His beloved creation; it is "The Same All Over The World."

Holy communion

The tasteless wafer is symbolic of His body broken, tortured, and given for you and me; the cup of the fruit of the vine is symbolic of His blood shed on the cross for all mankind.  He said, "Do this in remembrance of Me."  And, we do.  We come together in worship, repentance, and in unity, we take communion  ... remembering  ...  honoring  ... with thankful hearts  ... the sacrifice made for the whole world by Almighty God, Jesus Christ our Lord.  If not for the Lord giving His life on the cross, we would still have to round up unblemished animals and birds for sacrifice, because "without the shedding of blood," there is no forgiveness of Sin.  That's why the Lord Jesus Christ died and bled and rose again.  His sacrifice erased man's sin forever  ...  When we sincerely and honestly ask for forgiveness, our sins are covered and removed by the blood He shed, and they are remembered no more; they are forgiven!  "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.."  (Romans 8:1)  No one can throw stones, no one can judge, no one can point fingers  ... the Sins are under the blood!

Jesus Christ paid it all, and all to Him we owe.  He lives now and He will come back for us, that where He is, we may be also.  He has redeemed us, saved us, washed us, and Romans 8:2 says, "because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."  Thank You, Lord.  We have been set free, and this freedom goes across borders, crosses from Sea to Sea, from Nation to Nation  ... to all who will remember  ...



It's the same all over the world  .. a teardrop .. and it's the same when it falls from the Eyes that see all.  He sees all the Sins all at once all around the world  ... imagine that?  For a Holy God, who loves His creation utterly, it's cause for tears.  But, imagine this  ...  what if He could look down on the whole world "taking communion" and "remembering Him," receiving the wafer and the grape juice as a symbol of His blood and body given for us  ...  imagine that!  You say, "That's impossible."  Oh no, over 580 million people have received the Holy Ghost worldwide and counting, over 1/2 of entire Nations are Christian now, and "pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh," as stated in Joel 2:28, is becoming a reality.

"Out Of The Heart"

"Keep thy heart with all diligence;

for out of it are the issues of life."

(Proverbs 4:23)

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks, says the

Word of Luke 6:45 to all who will hear

And the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it, was the  

 Word from Jeremiah, which makes it clear

We have a responsibility to guard our hearts, and keep them

pure before the Lord our God

It must be holy and clean as we hide the Word there, keeping it

from evil and from being flawed

The heart of love is kind, suffers long, speaks no evil, and is the

image of our Savior and Lord

It touches the untouchable, loves the unloveable, reaches the

unreachable; it's the Master's chord

It's what binds us together and keeps us whole, as couples and as

families in this thing called life

The hearts full of love, and filled with the Lord's Spirit are more

apt to live in peace, and without strife

The heart that's a flame on fire from above, is the heart that seeks

truth in God and His Holy Word

It's a heart that can be molded by the One who creates, and it's a

heart that can be moved on, and stirred

Play it like a harp, O Lord; and let it sing Your song, for it's 

 in Your hand, as strings of music

Let it be ever in Your grasp, as Your love to the world, so make it

like You, Lord, renew and infuse it

Trust is the word that fills our hearts, like the three Hebrew

children, walking with You in the flames

It's all in the heart, the home of our devotion to our Lord; the

 fire that burns, from the power of Your Name

O, the light that emits from our hearts, when once we belong to

Jesus Christ, and of His salvation we partook

We weep with Him over the world, and over those who have

turned their backs, and His love they forsook

He's the Lion and the Lamb, come to bring strong love and tender

mercies, of His love and grace

To a fallen world, searching for peace, freedom from Sin, and to

lay their weary heads in a soft place

Heaven is the glory and the Eden, where we were meant to dwell

from the beginning and the start

So, we would be wise to make sure that holiness, purity, love, and

forgiveness, flow always "Out of the Heart."
