"Where Are The Nine?"

"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a
loud voice glorified God.  And fell down on his face at his feet,  giving him
thanks: and he was a Samaritan.  And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten
cleansed?  But where are the nine?"  (Luke 17:15-17)

There were ten lepers, who met Jesus as he was passing through a village; Jesus told them to go and show themselves to the priests, and as they were going, they were healed, but only one came back to thank Him.  Jesus Christ is still saying those words today to an unthankful unholy generation, "Where are the nine?  Where are the millions and billions of people for whom I died?  Don't they know what has been done for them?  I paid the price, with My blood and My torn mutilated flesh, and with railroad spikes driven in my hands and feet, with thorn spikes bored into the flesh of my head  ...  Where are the nine?"
Hezekiah On His Death Bed

"Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the Lord of hosts.  Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left, saith the Lord."  This was spoken to Hezekiah (Isaiah 39:5-6) after his miracle.  Isaiah told him he would die, but Hezekiah pled with the Lord and the Lord sent Isaiah back to tell him that He heard Hezekiah's prayer and 15 years would be added to his life.  Hezekiah was miraculously healed and greatly blessed.  But, then Hezekiah got lifted up in victory; he worshiped the blessing more than the Blesser!

Hezekiah Restored

There is no greater time of danger than when we have "Won" and we're on top of the mountain, when we're mightily blessed of God and we're flying high, when all is going well and we're dancing and singing for Joy.  This is the time we need to be the most humble, the most alert, the most on guard, at the very height of awareness  ...  this is the time that "Victory" counts its victims.  It happened to Hezekiah; he received a miracle; he was greatly blessed with multitudes of riches, and in his glow of the moment, his pride got the best of him  ...  What did he do?  He "showed the enemy" all of his riches, all of the temple bounty, boastful of his riches; he was remiss in his thankfulness to God, and his wariness of the enemy's ploy.  So, the Prophet Isaiah read him his rights  ...

Hezekiah won the battle over death, but lost the war of life!  You say, "What does that mean?"  Life only comes from the one who "gives" life, the Lord Jesus Christ.  The meaning of life is to be thankful to the ONE who gave it.  Hezekiah was lifted up over his many riches; he became proud and boastful, showing off "the Holy temple treasures" that belonged to God., and his enemy used it against him.

Herein is wisdom:  "everything" belongs to God; we would be little more than babbling vegetables if not for the grace and mercy of Almighty God.  In one moment's time, we could be left with nothing  ... and we've seen that, in so many terrible tragedies around the world.  We must be thankful; we must never think more highly of ourselves than we ought.  Not only does this keep us mindful of our Creator, but it keeps us alert to the wiles of the enemy.  "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom."  (Proverbs 11:2)  And, on the other hand, we must not belittle ourselves; with Jesus Christ, all things are possible!

"Humility and the fear of the LORD
bring wealth and honor and life."
(Proverbs 22:4)

You say, "Well, I don't have to worry about pride, because I've already lost most everything."  You still have your life!  "Things" can be replaced in time, but your life, your soul, your thought processes, your health  ... these are important, and "To God Be the Glory."  We have much to be thankful for.  The Lord is our help in times of trouble, our strong tower, our Savior and God.  No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly before Him.  There is ALWAYS something to be thankful for.  I've been there; I've lost homes, husband, job, health, wealth, everything  ...  but "Through it all, I've learned to trust in Jesus; I've learned to trust in God;"  the song says it all  ...

Thank You, Lord for all You do for us; Thank You
for the things You have protected us from that we
know not of, for the many diversions from tragedy
that we don't comprehend, for the Angels day by day
shielding us, going before us, and preparing our
way; Thank You, Lord!

I spent some time with a gentleman yesterday who had cancer and much of a part of his body has been cut away because of it, but surgeries are repairing him.  They were able to get all of the cancer, but this man is very bitter, and angry at God.  He's mad because he can't get a job, but I've directed him to places to go and apply, which he won't do.  He blames God for his having gone through this.  God can take people being mad at Him; that doesn't knock God off His throne.  But, we must recall that in all of Job's trials and torment, he never charged God foolishly.  I reminded this man that "this life" is not all there is.  A life span of 70 or 80 years compared to all eternity is very small.  THIS is our tribulation period, if we are Christians, and a lot of us are suffering, but we must be thankful for what we do have.  Take one look at the one with no arms who plays the guitar with his toes  ...  and is thrilled about it!  People can do extraordinary things with or "without" the ability to do so.  We are only limited by our attitudes.  Our attitudes determine our altitudes, as my wonderful Pastor says.

We can have the "victory" in any circumstance  ...  but only if we're thankful.  The "peril" comes when we give up hope, when we become proud with blessings, when we forget from whom all things come, when we think because of loss that we "can't."  We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! (Philippians 4:13)  If we have the Spirit of Jesus Christ within us, we've been baptized in His Name, we hear His whispers in the darkness, we know in whom we believe  ... then, we have everything!

Let it never be said of you and me that
we were one of the nine!

"I Believe I Can Fly!"

And Jesus said to him, “Go your way;
your faith has made you well.”
(Mark 10:52)

It's called Faith, when we soar as Eagles into the wild unknown
and we move in the auspices of the God groan
He wants a people who believe out of bounds and fly with courage
into the heavenly visions, like a silent drone
After all, He lives inside us, our God who knows no boundaries;
He expects us to move in His power and might
We're His hands and His feet, doing His will by His anointing and
His Spirit, driven by His impetus and His Light
Ah, it's ethereal to climb to the apex and dwell among the clouds,
high above the snake line, up where noise is quelled
Glory lingers there, when Angels change shifts and the brightness
of God is released; and the universe is veiled
It takes determination and a Warrior mentality to fly while others
are grounded, but the altitudes are beckoning
Someone has to yield to the winds, the call, and the whispers of
Almighty God, who wants a Moses-like reckoning
Who will meet Him in the high places and plead for the souls,
between God's face and His fury to behold
Oh, it's the one who isn't afraid of heights, but rises to the bidding,
and bows to be exalted, by the Holy hand untold
It's a waltz amid the storm clouds, and a whirl with lightnings and
thunder, as the flight reaches the One with power
He welcomes His "dust," who dared to leave earth behind, for a
saunter in the heavens in this darkened hour
The faint of heart can't do it; for it's a lonely climb above ozone to
destinies of wonder, out of knowledge and mind
Only the rabid hungry will forge the great unknown, to find the
dream's Creator, and sit down with Him to dine
The one who sits at His feet, and talks with Him in the moonlight,
knows of that place, past the planets and stars
It's the Holy ground above the second heaven, where the Angels
fight our devils, and win our prayer wars
So, fly, you venturing warrior, with your cape of protection from
Your God, who woos you to let your faith go
He's the Lord of your journey, riding a white horse, clothed in red,
and in His hand are Glory, an arrow and a bow
He says, "Come up hither," and His breath pulls you to His side in
a whoosh of ethereal splendor, too mighty to explain
You're propelled like the speed of Light through the sound barrier,
with only silence, and distant Angelic refrains
And the Angels sing their chorus of a song you've never heard; it's
reserved for those with a faith and a cry
They are those who say goodbye to earth's gravity, and defy the
rules of mortal earthiness, with "I Believe I Can Fly!"

"Alone With God"

"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time
to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation
nearer than when we believed."
(Romans 13:11)

Noah knew more than anyone what it was like to be the oldest man left, for as the waves roared, he must have felt the depth of that word "alone." As the waters tossed his "home" to and fro, he must have suddenly grasped the definition of "the unknown."  The time has come, this "as it was in Noah's day," to sojourn with our Lover, the Lover of our souls, for the days are dark and trying. We're fighting the devil and his imps, the forces of evil at every turn; and our world of souls is lost and dying.  "Come to Me," says the Lord, in the whispers among the shadows; lay your head upon My chest and trust.  I AM your only source of peace, your calm in the thunder, and "believing I will protect you" is a must.

"Walk with Me alone," says our Love, "And, hear My voice in the
night;" He's hovering close, during this groan
If we are afraid, it's our own fault, for His left hand is under our
heads, and His right hand embraces His own

There's light in the shadows, as we hunger for Him stronger; He seems to wrap us in a cocoon of wonder.  We hear the coos of our Master and the swoosh of angels' wings, while the world hears claps of roaring thunder.  As we walk alone with Him, He tells us His secrets and His plans, in prophetic nuances of His Holy essence. We are so speechless in the silence, with only His voice and His touch, as we reach a pinnacle of His presence.

Our hearts beat with the cadence of His voice, as He mentions His
love in such romantic tones, that come from above
It seems we have entered another place, holiness is prevalent and
earth's blackness is replaced with a white dove

Perfect peace surrounds us in this solitary place, and we dare not move; we want it to last forever, and not cease. We've grown accustomed to His warmth and His gentle love to His beloved, as we feel the burdens' release.  Oh, if only the world could feel this and know the Love of their Holy Creator; they would come running with no doubt.  The Lord longs for that encounter with every soul He formed from "dust;" that's what He's talking about.

He can't help but convey His plea, while we walk alone together,
that we must bring others to Him, and soon
We're moved by His compassion for His lost ones, and we weep
together alone, with just the light of the moon

Suddenly, we realize our God is lonely; He misses His bride and longs for the trumpet sound, too.  We know our time is coming to a close; we sense the morning light pouring in, with sprinkles of morning dew.  Clinging to our Lord, we cry that we don't want Him to go; He says that He'll be back; He loves our time alone.  As we feel that closeness lift, we pray love's sweet refrain, in a lonely lilt of craving, and a sorrowful groan.

He's still with us, we know, but there's something about that time
alone with Him; it pulls us to the mountain
On that misty aerie crag, we taste Love's perfection, placing
ourselves in position, under an overflowing fountain

It's what we will know for all of eternity one day, when He comes in the twinkling of an eye, and whisks us away. Let it be soon, is our Maranatha cry, as we look up for a sign in the moonlit sky, and we yearn for Him as we pray.  But, still it's hard to leave that place where just the two of us met, and waltzed among the clouds.  It was far from the "Noah's day" in which we live, so utterly wicked and so loud.  Noah missed those mocking people as he worshiped God, feeling the rocking Ark come to rest, when the waters at last returned to dry sod.  So, we know what's coming for people who will not serve their Creator; we feel our hearts beat for the Harvest, while we groan for them to seek to be "Alone With God."

"Awake 'n' Dreaming"

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out
my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your
 young men shall see visions."
(Joel 2:28)

Dreaming dreams, seeing visions, the Holy Spirit upon all flesh, sons and daughters prophesying  ... Sounds like a movie, but it's not, it's reality in its purest form!  For this writing, it's more like the people of earth responding to God in this endtime hour while they are "Awake 'n' Dreaming."

Ah, Holy visions  ...  you know they did; they happened all through the Holy Bible and they're happening now!  Huh?  People of God are seeing visions; they're having prophetic dreams; the Spirit of God is being poured out; people have smelled roses; signs and wonders have occurred in our midst; a Holy smoke has filled the sanctuary; we've felt rain just as real as if we had to wipe our faces dry  ...  What's going on?  God IS going on!  He's been going on for thousands of years, but the world has been at the ball stadiums, in the movie theaters, in the streets rioting and protesting, marching and parading their causes and Sins, and just basically "doing their own thing."  But, God  ...  you need to note that  ...  BUT, GOD, has been doing His thing too!

Our Holy God wants His own to come to Him, and He will be doing it more and more out in the wide open, on the street corners, in the restaurants, in the schools, at the workplaces  ...  What?  He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh!  You say, "That's impossible; that wouldn't happen in restaurants, on the streets, and at work!"  Oh Yeah, it would, and it has  ...  people have received the Holy Ghost and spoken in tongues in restaurants, on the streets, at work  ... and in this hour, it's going to happen in an even greater way.  Latest count is that 680 million all over the world claim to be Spirit filled.  At this very moment, somebody somewhere is receiving the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues!

"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
(Acts 1:8)

Oh, it's POWER like you have never known; it's what enables people to have dreams and visions  ...  It's how your sons and daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions; it's an AWAKENING of your spirit to God's Spirit, and when you receive His Spirit and speak in tongues as He gives you utterance, you can have His gifts of the Spirit, as is stated in I Corinthians 12.  It's the most exciting, pure, Holy, and adventurous thing you could ever do.  Little children have received it; older people have received it; people in every Nation, kindred and tongue have received it; it's time for YOU to receive it!  We are in the Church Age, the time of His Spirit and it's flowing down from above like a mighty river  ...  Dive in!

What is it about?  It is a global move of God; it's an endtime revival; it's the sound of a New Thing  ... a New Chord   ...  a New Church Order  ...  a New Worship   ...  a New Move of God in the earth!  Why?  He's coming.  Jesus Christ is coming, and He will gather all He can into His waiting arms before judgment.  Why must there be judgment?  There is always judgment for Sin.  You say, "But, I know people deep in Sin and nothing's happening to them."  It's not over yet!  There was judgment in Noah's day; there will be judgment today  ...  It's time for mortal humans to Wake Up, reach up to Jesus Christ who is reaching down to us, and receive all He has for us!

The moment has come for planet earth to be
"Awake 'n' Dreaming."
