"Destined To Remember"

"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and
said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you:
this do in remembrance of me."
(I Corinthians 11:24)

The flowing blood, the broken and ripped flesh, the spear in the side, the splintered cross, the soldiers, the mocking, the thieves, the robe, the tears, the lightning, the earthquake, the followers, the darkened clouds, and the cry, "It Is Finished."  That's what it's all about.  We, who are Christians, who love the Lord Jesus Christ with all of our hearts, souls, minds, and strength  ...  can scarcely think of anything else; our very existence and salvation depends on it; we live with the knowledge of it and thankfulness for it  ...  His death, burial, and resurrection; the price paid for our redemption, the kind of LOVE that has never been known, the sacrifice of God for our eternity with Him; the Lamb slain for all of mankind  ...  We are and will always be ever mindful of the eternal sacrifice; we are "Destined To Remember."

In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup
is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever
you drink it, in remembrance of me."
(I Corinthians 11:25)

The wafer and the grape juice, the repentance and the tears, the heart's sorrow and joy  ...  it's a mixture of ecstasy and pain, as we remember; we are so thankful for His blood shed to erase our sins, yet as we drink the cup; we think of His torn, beaten ripped flesh and we think no one should have to be tortured like that  ... and we're suddenly mindful that it should have been us on that cross  ...  if not for "His" blood and "His" shredded flesh, we would have no place in heaven.  If not for our Savior, our Redeemer, our Lord and King, where would we be?  Thank You, Lord Jesus; we will never forget  ...  In sincere and heartfelt repentance, we ask for forgiveness of our sins, before we take communion  ...  We must not take it "unworthily," meaning 'in an unrepentant and uncaring way.'  We are never as saved as when we have just taken Communion  ...  if we do it right.

The Lord Jesus Christ gave us the Lord's supper, or the Holy communion, on the very night he was betrayed.  It would not be until the resurrection that He would again spend time with His beloved apostles.  What was Jesus Christ thinking on that night?  The crucifixion was imminent; the horror of what He must endure was before Him, yet His mind was on His disciples.  He wanted to make sure that they knew that He was the Passover Lamb, that He was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world, that His blood would be shed and His body broken for them, and for all mankind.  This was no ordinary supper; this was the night before the world changed forever; this was an "eve" that would be remembered for all eternity; this was the still before the storm, the calm before the war over Sin would end in the blood-stained eraser to wipe out Sin and evil forever.  The disciples had no idea of the magnitude of the bread and the cup  ...  but they would soon be overtaken with the blood, the name, and the Word of destiny  ...

Jesus Christ rose from the dead on
the third day; He is ALIVE forevermore!

Lord, Jesus, we will never forget; in fact, our witness is based on it; our love stems from it; our hunger originates in it; our very souls are anchored upon it; we take communion to remember and to rejoice in the salvation and redemption bought for mankind with Your blood shed and Your tortured body "given" on the cross for the souls of the entire world.  We will never, never forget!

"I'M IN!"

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents
and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
(Luke 10:19)

We are in a WAR!  Huh?  We are on the Home stretch of this leg of the journey toward the Rapture of the Church, the fulfillment of all things, the seven-year tribulation, the return of Jesus Christ, and Hey!  ...  the WAR is on!  Everything that can be shaken will be shaken; we're gathering the sheaves; the Nations are ripe for harvest; the Church is on the move; the New Church Order is rising with fresh flaming swords, shined armor, and new orders  ...  Godly Fathers, war for your families, war for the Church, war for your Nation and the world's Nations, raise your fists, soar with wings of eagles, and fight alongside the Archangel Michael, and Get er' done  ...  because when it comes down to it  ...  You're either "IN" or out!

The Hebrew meaning of Michael is "Who Is Like God."  It is traditionally interpreted as a rhetorical question, "Who is like God?"  ... to imply that NO ONE is like God.  Michael, in this way, is reinterpreted as a symbol of humility before our Almghty God.  In the Book of Daniel, Michael was mentioned as the "great prince who stands up for the children of your people."  In the Book of Revelation, Michael leads God's armies against satan's forces and, during the war in heaven, defeats satan.  Michael is referred to as the "protector of Israel" and the "prince of the first rank."  Later, Michael is seen as the protector of the Christian Church.  So, You fathers in earth, You warriors of the most high God, You fighters in the faith, You strong muscle-bound defenders of truth, You have help!

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God
to the pulling down of strong holds;)  Casting down imaginations, and every
high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into
captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"
(2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

We're not just going to waltz through the pearly gates!  Oh no, we're going to be bloody, scarred, tear-stained, sword-clad, armor-beaten, blazing-eyed, and tongue-worn, because Warriors are power-driven, Holy Ghost filled, Jesus' Name bearing, Hallelujah shouting, Maranatha quoting, demon blood dancing, and Victory waving Saints of the Most High God!  Why?  Because We ARE the WARRIORS for the Lord Jesus Christ, and WARRIORS know about War, care about War, study about War, deal with War, conquer War, stand up to War, are not fearful of War, and furthermore, War KNOWS them!

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary
the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour.
Resist him, steadfast in the faith …”
(I Peter 5:8-9)

"Awake" is the key word of the hour!  And, as a matter of fact, if you are a Christian, you should be getting little sleep these days.  What?  It seems our Lord is waking His servants more and more. Why?  Time is short; headlines are fulfilling Bible prophecy; Nations are lining up; the breath of God is stirring the winds of destiny; prophetic people feel the urgent groan of a pushing God; war songs are on the horizon; sheaves are grabbing garment hems; the fire shut up in the bones is bursting forth in tongues; Holy men and women are speaking forth as time makes way for "time shall be no more;" new chords are wafting down from heaven's corridors as Holies are drawn to hungry spirits; and the governments are yielding to the authority of the throne.  What is it?  It's WAR for souls, WAR for dominion, WAR for spoils, WAR in the Spirit, WAR in earth, WAR in heaven  ...  WAR!

Fight On, ye soldiers of the faith!  "Help is on the way," says Pastor Kenneth Phillips of PromiseLand Church.  We do not WAR alone.  But, the bottom line is, We must WAR; we must fight in the Spirit the battles that are the cornerstone of our faith.  We will endure to the end; we will overcome; we will Win this War, because the battle is the Lord's!  He can depend on His soldiers, because we've read The Book, and we know how the battle ends  ... One mind and One accord makes an unbeatable army; UNITY wins the war, and God wants to know  ...  Can He count on you and me? Hey, "I'M IN!"

Then He said to Jacob, "Let Me go, for it is daybreak." But Jacob said,
"I will not let You go unless You bless me."
(Genesis 32:26)

"From Glory to Glory"

"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the
glory of the LORD rises upon you."
(Isaiah 60:1)

It's all about the God of Glory wanting a soul mate to walk with
Him on waters, and go where no man has gone
Foregoing the earthly pleasures, and traverse another world in
measure, with the Lord in the early dawn

Look up, O weary saint of almighty God, for the Lord has opened the heavens; breathe in His Glory.  You are His shining vessel, filled with His power, walking in His beauty, and you are now worthy. Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, washed clean by His name and His Word; you stand tall in His light.  "Come out from among them," says the Lord, "and be separate unto me;" climb higher with all of your might.

For you are chosen and called out, holy and mighty in power and
wonders, used in the portals of aura
You are no longer in the lowlands of despair, you have reached
the apex above the bitter waters of mara

It was a climb on your knees, fasting and praying for light to come, and I AM here, now, lifting you from darkness.  You have entered a new dimension, beyond your last glory, and your air is lighter; your joy is unharnessed.  The valley had you bound, but when your hands reached over the crag, you felt the newness and the beauty.  Your strong endurance brought you here, with your sword and your armor; you went beyond the call of duty.

There are mysteries to unfold, exploits to render, and the Word to
perform among the Nations for the Lord
It's a New Day, a new aroma in the portals of the Lord's presence,
and it's time for a New mindset and a New chord

The angels are restless, the trumpets are tuning, the hoofs are pawing, and the Lord searches to and fro.  He's looking for those who climb higher, dig deeper, see further, crave stronger; the Lord's mind they seek to know. A matter of the heart, it is, of those who weep alone, those who strum their songs to the Lord, in soulful tones.  And they stalk Him in the night, begging Him to converse, as He arrives in the moonlight, responding to their groans.

It's simple, you see; the lover of man's soul longs for one to hear
with Vision, and See with sound, a paradoxical story
Of God Almighty "in earth as it is in heaven" with His creation,
and take him "From Glory to Glory."
