"America, Bless God!"

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, 

ye shall be free indeed."

(John 8:36)

The head picture above gets it right  ...  "America, Bless God!" It's time for America to Bless God, when America's spiritual roots are diminishing.  We're still the greatest Nation in the world, the Land of the Free  ...  and we're free because of our Spiritual foundation based in God. George Washington stated, "It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible."  Then, there was Abraham Lincoln who said, "I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man.  All the good of the Savior of the world is communicated to us through the Book." 

America's Eagle has a tear drop falling  ... perhaps it's the millions of babies killed, while marching in the streets just not long ago saying "Hail satan;" or maybe it's all the laws being passed that are contrary to "The Book" of Abraham Lincoln and the ONLY Book for the world  ... the Holy Bible; then again, it might be the rules banning "Christ" from Christmas  ...  and the list goes on.  Oh, America, You beautiful Nation, fall on your knees in the time of "Grace" and call on a merciful God!  You're sinking in waters of Sin, and our forefathers might not recognize you if they could see you today.  America is mentioned only slightly in prophecy as "the one who dwells carelessly in the isles."  While we honor our fallen heroes today and every day, we do it with one knee bent, and eyes looking up, asking to grant us mercy as we "carelessly" pass law after law that makes Almighty God cringe, bringing His approaching fury.  And, He says, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."  (2 Chronicles 7:14)    

Even with all of her problems, America is still the best thing going!  She still has a people who worship the God she was founded upon; she still proudly proclaims "One nation, under God...;" she still is the Nation the other Nations run to for their freedom; she still is a Nation where people are free to praise the name of Jesus Christ because of people who gave their lives; she still gives Almighty God the Glory; she still waves her flag boldly; and she still kneels to the Creator and not a dictator; she still reaches up to her Lord as He reaches down; she still acknowledges God on her currency  ...  she still  ...

Her Churches are marching in UNITY, coming together hand in hand to worship the ONE who sits on the throne, to put aside the differences for the good and strength of her Nation and the world. It has to start here, in the Land of the free, before it spreads to every Nation, kindred and tongue  ...  What? UNITY of the body of Christ, the outpouring of the Spirit upon all flesh, the Love of God manifested in His Bride, to show the world what freedom looks like, what the Love of Jesus Christ looks like, what "One Nation under God" looks like, what the power of the Holy Ghost looks like, what baptism in the name of Jesus Christ looks like, what being set free by Jesus Christ looks like, what freedom in one's soul looks like, what real Love from a God, who will never leave you nor forsake you, looks like   ... 

Oh Yes, President Reagan!  You said it!  It's God that made us free and keeps us free; it's Almighty God who has blessed our land; it's the Holy One of Israel who has kept us in the hollow of His hand; it's the Lord of Lords and King of Kings who reigns over this great Nation! Thank You, Lord Jesus!  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."  (Psalm 33:12)  The song says it, "You're gonna serve somebody; it may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you're gonna' serve somebody." There are only two, the Lord or the devil  ...  Heaven or Hell  ... death or life  ...  peace or war  ...  trouble or triumph  ...  As for me and my house, we choose the Lord!

On this Inauguration Day, we salute The God that made this nation great, and we honor all those who fought and died that we might live!  America, we'll fight to keep you strong; we'll fight to keep you One Nation under God; we'll fight to keep you free; we'll fight to keep you praying, we'll fight to make you an example; we'll fight to keep your Churches; we'll fight to wave your flag for all to see that "In God We Trust," because we're the mighty and beautiful land of the free  ...  as long as we say it and then purpose to do it, "America, Bless God!"

We are broken vessels waiting to 

be filled with the Power and Spirit 

of Almighty God and become a 

New Creation in Him!

The Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit is represented by the beautiful white dove in Christianity, and the Holy of Holy's behind the veil in the temple.  When Jesus Christ died on the cross, the veil was rent from top to bottom, not to let Him out, but to let us in!  Only the Priest, once a year, could feel that Glory of God, but NOW, we all can feel it!  The Lord said, when He arose from the dead on the third day, that He would send back His Spirit, the comforter, and He did on the Day of Pentecost, and every day since then.  The Holy Ghost is on the move.  It is the Lord's desire that all of earth be saved and filled with His Spirit; He is not willing that "any" be lost or perish.  How many in earth should receive the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost and fire, with the evidence of speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance?  Every Nation, kindred, and tongue; every man, woman, and child; every mortal human being; every soul from coast to coast, continent to continent, and to the Islands of the Sea  ...  "All Flesh."

Who is the Holy Ghost? Ghost?  A ghost is the spirit of a departed one. The Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit, is the "Spirit" of a departed One, or in this case, the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord. Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Apostles, and 120 other hungry obedient ones, were gathered in the Upper Room, to tarry until they would be endued with power from on high, as Jesus promised.  They prayed and waited, prayed and waited  ...   for many days ...  And, then, there was a sound as of a mighty rushing wind and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke with tongues as the Spirit gave them the utterance, on the Day of Pentecost.  (Acts Chapter 2) 

In Joel 2:28, the Word of God states this same Spirit will be poured out upon ALL flesh, and it's happening now!  Over 580 million people have been filled with the Holy Ghost and spoken with tongues worldwide; every single day people all over our globe are being filled with the Spirit of The living God, Jesus Christ, our Lord of Lords and King of Kings.  It's happening as you read this blog; there are more Spirit filled Christians in China than in all the rest of the world.  It's like a wildfire spreading from Nation to Nation.  Why?  It's an Awakening of God's created "dust" to The Creator who's coming back for us!

"For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on

the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring,

 and my blessing on your descendants."

(Isaiah 44:3)

The Spirit of the Lord fills dry thirsty souls with "living water," and we will never thirst again.  It's the most beautiful and powerful thing that can happen in anyone's life  ...  to be filled with the Spirit of the Lord and speak in a language you never learned.  And, suddenly, you know that you know, that Jesus Christ is real; you feel Him in your own spirit, and as we grow in Him, we hear His whispers; we sense His presence; we feel His touch; we know His voice.  He is "alive" in us! 

"But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from

 the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead

 shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you."

(Romans 8:11)

You ask, "Why is it necessary to be filled with the Spirit of God?"  The Bible states in I Thessalonians 4:17, and  I Corinthians 15:52 that the Lord will "catch away" (known as the Rapture of the Church) His bride, the Church, when the Rapture occurs.  This will occur before the great and terrible tribulation period, which is when judgment falls on all those who did not come to the Lord, were not filled with His Spirit, and were not baptized in His name.  The headlines will read just like the picture above  ...  It will happen in the moment in the twinkling of an eye, or 1/44th of a second  ...  and millions of people all over the world will be missing instantly.

 

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud

command, with the voice of the archangel and with the

trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.  After that,

we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with

them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we

will be with the Lord forever."

(I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet

shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality."

(I Corinthians 15:52-53)

 

The Spirit of the Lord "in us" will raise our bodies to meet Him in the air, and then begins the reign of the antichrist in earth.  Those "left behind" will be those who did not obey God's Word.  The people asked Peter and Paul, "What must we do (to be saved)?"  Peter answered them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."  (Acts 2:38-39)

"You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by

the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have

the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ."

(Romans 8:9)

That's pretty strong, isn't it?  If we have not the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are none of His.  If we want the truth, the Bible tells it like it is; if we want to be saved, the Bible tells us exactly what to do.  Where do we go in the Bible to find out how to be saved?  We find out about salvation in the Book of Acts where the Church began.  We are in the Church age; we must find out how the first Church did it and do the same.  (Acts 2, Acts 8, Acts 10, Acts 19) 

 

It is important to know where to look in the Bible for what you want to know.  The Old Testament is prophecies of what would take place in the New Testament; the Books of Matthew through John are the accounts of the birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ; the Book of Acts is where the Church began and tells us how to be saved and ready for the Rapture of the Church; the Books Romans to Jude tell us how to live after we have obeyed the steps of salvation: repentance, baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance; and finally, the Book of Revelation is the fulfillment of all things.

 

"The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature

will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit,

from the Spirit will reap eternal life."

(Galatians 6:8)

The Bible says we are destroyed for lack of knowledge.  (Hosea 4:6)  It behooves us to read the Holy Bible, and obey it; it's for our eternal good!  It's the Lord's desire that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper; that we have peace and know His love for us that He would die like an animal that we can live like kings; that we know that He has gone to prepare a place for us that where He is, we may be also  ...  for all eternity! 

 

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those

who are in Christ Jesus."

(Romans 8:1)

 

When we, who were all born in sin and shapen in iniquity, have been washed, sanctified, and filled with the Spirit of Jesus Christ, we are FORGIVEN!  It's like we are an innocent little babe once again; we're cleansed and clean, pure and holy, and we're ready.  Ready for what?  For life, for death, for the Rapture, for the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, for all of eternity.  It's so wonderful to know we have no fear of death or after death  ...  it's beautiful!

The Lord Jesus Christ has one interest, one desire,

one motivation, one reason, one thought  ...  one love  ...
