"The Narrow Gate"

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is

the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life,

and only a few find it."

(Matthew 7:13-14)

We ponder a lot of things in this life such as what job to get, who to marry, how many children to have and how to raise them, and the first of these things, or at least it should be first, is what Church we should attend, what is our core belief and doctrine.  Herein, we enter into the perpetuity dilemma that concerns all of us, entering in through   ...  "The Narrow Gate."

"And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness.

The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that

Way; wicked fools will not go about on it."

(Isaiah 35:8)

What  is this all about and what does it mean, this word, "perpetuity?" you ask.  It's the narrow road of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ; the word "perpetuity" means endless or eternity.  We must think about it, because we will all "enter" there.  Huh?  There is a heaven and a hell; this life prepares us for one of those and we would be very wise to "make up our dying bed," as they say.  The Lord Jesus Christ knows what lies ahead, above and beneath; He knows what befalls the wicked and what eternal joy awaits the holy, saved and redeemed.  We have a choice to make, and it is ours, individually, to choose; God will not override our free will.  He has shown us the road  ...  it's the road of Calvary, where He bled and died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and rose again the third day  ... that where He is, we may be also  ...  Paradise, eternity, golden streets, gates of pearl, walls of jasper, River of Life, Angels and incense and heavenly choirs  ...  all we have to do is obey His Word and prepare our perpetuity.

"You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy

in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."

(Psalm 16:11)

How can we know for sure that we are ready, that we will enter the golden gates of Glory, either at the Rapture of the Church, or when we pass away?  How can we know?  The Bible is our roadmap.  When Peter preached to the people on the Day of Pentecost; they were stirred at his words and wanted to know how to be saved; they asked, "What must we do?"  Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  For the promise is unto you and your children, as many as are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."  After we have obeyed Acts 2:38-39, we live holy repentant lives, and we tell everyone we see about the joy, peace, love and power that we have experienced after receiving the Holy Ghost  ... and then, we listen for the sound of the trumpet  ...

  

It's coming for all of us, you know.  What?  Eternity!  We shall all live forever somewhere.  And, "forever" is a long long time.  You say, "Well, I don't want to think about this right now; I've got problems, kids, marriage issues; I just can't deal with being concerned about that."  Preparing for "perpetuity" or Eternity, also prepares us to live here and now.  Huh?  Being filled with the Holy Ghost and being baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ gives us power, strength, guidance, innumerable angels at our side, and the arms of the Lord underneath us to make it, to deal with our problems, to heal the brokenness of families, and to live with joy here and now.

Does Almighty God care?  Will He help me?  Can something be done to straighten out my life?  The answer is yes, Yes, YES!  He will calm your stormy seas, carry you in the hard times, hold you in the terrors of the night, whisper His love in your trembling ears, help bring home your wayward teen, heal your marriage, lead you to a job, give you peace in the midst of war in your country  ...  But, He has to be aboard your boat.  Huh?  Jesus Christ can't calm your seas if He is not on your boat  ... in other words, You must be in the family of God; you must wear His name, be washed in His blood, be filled with His Spirit, and know Him as Your Lord and Savior  ...  And, He will never leave you, never forsake you; your life will exist in the arms of God Almighty.

Eternity is coming very fast.  We are at the point and the hour of the last of the last days. "How could you know that?" you ask.  Have you read the News headlines? Do you see that Israel is constantly in the News, along with Syria, and the Nations listed in Ezekiel 38 and 39?  Have you noticed that "everyone" is talking about the end of time?  "Oh well, that has always been talked about," you say.  Not like this  ...  Have you noticed the increase in the earthquakes, the increase of inclement weather, talk of one-world currency and one-world government?  These are all biblical prophecies and the Lord admonished us to keep our lamps filled and oiled, meaning be full of the Holy Ghost, and be ready  ... for He will come as thief in the night  ...

The thief in the night is getting ready to mount up even now.  We must be ready, be alert, be awake, be filled, be baptized, be repentant, be sober, be vigilant, be Saved  ....

The essential, most important, million dollar

question of this hour is: Are you ready for Perpetuity?  

We must enter through "The Narrow Gate."

"He's Still God!"

"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; 

when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me."

(Micah 7:8)

Will He come when I call?  Will my God run to me as I run to Him

 in my distress and in my need?

Does the Lover of my soul hear my cries and know my trials? Is He

 near and can I expect to be freed?

Can my soul rise from this "dust" of earth's chains, and soar in

 newness of life in heaven's domains?

When will my deliverance come and put the pieces of my life back

 together, from these broken remains?

Why do my tears fall like waterfalls from the mountain I have

 climbed to seek My God in secret places?

Will He meet me here upon this aerie crag and speak with a voice

 of thunder in these misty foggy spaces?

What can I do to beckon His angels and see His glory, when the

 night closes around me in throes of pain?

Will there suddenly be lightnings of power and warriors in flight, 

coming to my aid in blessings like rain?

Will the valley be swallowed up by the mountain, and the snakes be

 eaten by flying Eagles, causing me to soar?

Can my dwelling place rest on the mountain and make this my

 abode, above the valley's tears and roars?

What praise can I give You, My Lord, for lifting me up and setting

 me in the heights of beauty at your feet?

What can the valley do to me now, as I have reached the apex of

holiness in My Lord, at His mercy seat?

Why did I fear, when My Lord held me down in the valley and He
 holds me on the mountain, so high and tall?

When did it happen? When did my tears turn to JOY and my

 troubles fade, like the crumbling of a wall?

Won't this ethereal haven be my home, since I've climbed so long 

 and finally reached the peace of My Lord?

Why didn't I realize my victory was always won, with My God's

 Name, His Word, Blood, and sword?

Who can defeat The One who reigns, The Holy One of Israel, The
 One who owns and created earth's very sod?

How can His own think that we are not in His hand, when our
hairs are numbered, for Truth says, "He's Still God!"

"Experiencing The Glory!"

"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let 

Your glory be over all the earth."

 (Psalm 108:5)

Mankind will know your power, your majesty, and the beauty of

Your holiness; it will fall like pouring rain

O, gather together all ye people and look up, for your redemption 

 draweth nigh, coming down from an ethereal domain

Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, will fill all flesh and earth will glow like

 the morning dew, because Your beauty will be known

It will dwell in the souls of hunger, where once the seeds of the

 Garden's Sin, from the first Adam, were sown

But, You, the second Adam, have brought salvation and light, to

 fill the darkness with an eternal omnipotent glow

Only those who partake of Resurrection's Lion will awake to

 newness of life, and in the Spirit, they will know

There is ONE God who sits on the throne and Your name is Jesus

 Christ, reigning with impetus of wisdom for all

You shall call the Nations and kindred to Your love, and every

 knee shall bow humbly, in the groans of prayer shawls

"Be it unto me," is the cry of the obedient heart, and the surrender

 of every earthly concession, to the One who IS

It will be a day like no other, when Joel 2:28 is manifested, and

 Almighty God of heaven claims what is His

The winds are blowing with angelic feathery wisps, as Holy portals

 prepare for homecoming, and the Groom's tryst

Ah, the new song will be sung when all have arrived to bow down

 before You, and at last God's feet will be kissed

The worship will overtake You as crowns are cast, because it's You

 we long to see, Lord; it's You that Your beloved seeks

It's Your Spirit, Lord Jesus, we've felt for so long, as we yearn for 

 a face to face encounter, in the heavenly mystique

We will abide in Your Spirit, listening for the Rapture sound, as we

 climb for more of You, and await Your arrival

As we watch and pray, we'll dance before You with glee, in mortal

 offerings of aromas of worship, an eternal recital

It's a Holy resurgent Tabernacle of David, as Your created "dust"

 Awakes, and rises to the prophetic end

The scribes of old foretold it; at evening time there shall be light,

 and the brightness of Joel was penned
Even as the shepherds were astounded at the announcement of the
 angels of Your birth, on that lonely night
The angels will announce again, of our meeting in the air, with the
 sound of a trumpet and our soon flight

We position ourselves Lord, for the fulfillment of all things, the

 triumph to come, and the finality of the story

The Mountain, Miracles, Money, and Harvest are the blessings 

 of Your hand, and we'll be "Experiencing The Glory!"

"Eternity Is Forever"

"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you

unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

(John 14:3)

THIS, planet earth, is not all there is, you know.  "February 8, 1994  ..  Just days after space shuttle astronauts repaired the Hubble Space Telescope in mid December, the giant lens focused on a star cluster at the edge of the universe – and photographed heaven.  That’s the word from author and researcher Marcia Masson, who quoted highly places NASA insiders as having said that the telescope beamed hundreds of photos back to the command center at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., on December 26.  The pictures clearly show a vast white city floating eerily in the blackness of space.  And the expert quoted NASA sources as saying that the city is definitely Heaven “because life as we know it couldn't possibly exist in icy, airless space."

What's out there, or Up there, as the case may be?  Outer space, the mysterious realm of galaxies, blackness, shining stars, brilliance in an unknown universe, and "forever," as we know it.  It lets us know, when we gaze up into the moonlit night sky that THIS is not all there is  ...  THIS, meaning planet earth, which brings us to the word often talked about, little known about, what NASA seems to keep striving to find out about, what the Bible speaks about, and what some of earth's citizens don't much talk about, because they believe they're going there no matter what   ...

It's rather fitting to talk about Heaven any time because after all, it was the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that brings us to this eternal place  ... Heaven, where Jesus lives, IS, calls us to, beckons us, wants us to prepare for, lures us, and has been preparing for us for thousands of years!  There is a heaven and a hell, and every man, woman, teen, and child will arrive at one of those places; it's a fact.  We don't like to talk about it, and if we questioned every person on their merry ways of shopping, going to work, and going about their lives, THEY would say, "I'm going to heaven."  Nobody believes they're going to that other place.  And, herein is where NASA has brought reality starkly to the faces of humanity  ...  A city hanging in space, bright as the noon day sun, shining in Glory and majesty, brilliant in architecture, a splendor in the blackness of space  ...  HEAVEN!

"And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed

me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious,

even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;  And had a wall great and high, and had

twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which

are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:  On the east three gates;

on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 

 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the

twelve apostles of the Lamb.   And he that talked with me had a golden reed to

 measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.   And the city lieth

foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city

with the reed,  twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the

height of it are equal.   And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty

and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.   And the

building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear

 glass.   And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of

precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a

chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;  The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh,

 chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh,

a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every

several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were

 transparent glass.   And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and

 the Lamb are the temple of it.   And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the

 moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.  

 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings

of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.   And the gates of it shall not be

 shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.   And they shall bring the glory

 and honour of the nations into it.   And there shall in no wise enter into it any

thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie:

but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."

(Revelation 21:10-27)

Who wouldn't want to go there?  It's more real than THIS; it's our Hope; it's our home.  You say, "That's not home; I live and work here."  Oh no, my friend; THIS is temporary for every one of us, considering life in earth is 80 or 90 years  ... compare that to all of eternity, forever and forever!  So, it's wise to "make sure" we end up there and not the other place; it's wise to assure our arrival at the glowing city floating in ethereal space; it's wise to oil our lamps, cleanse our hearts, wash our souls, fill our spirits, and get ready!  How?  Repent, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.  Then, live right, live holy, read the Word of God, the Holy Bible, pray, fast  ...  and walk in the breath of God, or Spirit of God  ... come out from among them and be ye separate saith God.  Huh?  We are "in" this world, but not "of" this world, if it so be that Christ dwells in us.



Repentance "awakens" the soul to the realization that "WE" answer to One greater, the One who created us from "dust" and the One who is the only One who can "fix" us.  We "all" need fixing  ... Huh?  There's not a person alive who does not need love, peace, joy, kindness, and the Spirit of the Lord.  Some may not readily know it, but that's what they're looking for; they seek it in drugs, in premarital sex, in deviant behavior of all kinds, in dabbling in the forces of evil, in Sin of all types  ...  and it only leaves them empty  ...  But, this is what happens when You are delivered from evil by the heavenly touch of the beautiful, powerful, mighty, incredible Spirit of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ:

Until we reach eternity, until we burst through those lustrous gates of pearl, until we dip our feet in the Rivers of Life, until we kneel and kiss the feet of Jesus Christ, until we cast our crowns before the throne, until we are escorted by Angels to the face of God  ...  God thought of everything; we can have a little bit of eternal here, in earth, and we can taste "forever"  ...  By the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ  ...  it's Heaven in earth  ...
