"Naturally Amazing!"

"For as we have many members in one body,

and all members have not the same office: So we,

being many, are one body in Christ, and every

one members one of another."

The gifts of Romans Chapter 12 are the "natural gifts" that every person in earth was born with.  The gifts that are noted in Chapter 12 of the Book of I Corinthians are Spiritual gifts obtained when we are filled with the Holy Ghost and speak with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives us utterance.  The "natural gifts" in Romans is WHO you are as a person, how God made you  ... When we understand that, we suddenly know WHY we became an Accountant, or why we are a teacher, or why we are a President, or why we became a nurse or a missionary.  This is so interesting, because you finally realize why you think the way you do, why you do the things you do, and the reason you are drawn to certain things in life, such as occupations, interests, hobbies, etc.

 

 



"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

(I Corinthians 12:27) 

Would the eye say to the ear, "I don't need you?"  Or, would the hands say to the feet, "I can do without you?"  We all operate together as the body of Christ in the Church of our Lord.  Some may have several gifts or all of the gifts, and others may have predoninantly one of the gifts.  But, we are all moving together as God created us to be One body in Him.  The little voice within that has told you all of your life that you are "no good," that you are worth "nothing," that you don't have a place in this world, is a LIE! You were made by God and you possess at least one of those natural gifts listed in Romans above.  As such, YOU are very important to the work of God in the earth today.  Your natural gift is distinctly YOU, and even though there may be other teachers, others with mercy, others with prophecy; YOU present it with your gift that is solely YOU, and no one else is just like it.  That makes YOU very precious, indeed!  The Lord poured His creative gift into you from the womb; you are fearfully and wonderfully made!

 





"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully

to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body."

(Ephesians 4:25)

 

We must use our natural God-given gifts to reach out to one another in love.  My Pastor's mother used to say, "Everybody's just a little bit pitiful."  It's true.  We all need help sometimes; we all reach a place where we need a shoulder; the trials of life leave us grasping for help in prayer many times; and there's nothing like a brother or sister who is there for us when we need them.  Whatever country or Nation in the world you are reading this from is not too far that my prayers can't reach you, that my love and the love of PromiseLand Church can't reach you; your cares are our prayers!  We weep together and we rejoice together; we dance together and shout Hallelujah together; we pray together and fast together; we climb mountains together in faith and we hold each other in the valleys  ...  We are a family, the body of Jesus Christ!

 



"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;

and some, pastors and teachers; to prepare God's people for works of service,

 so that the body of Christ may be built up, till we all come in the unity of

the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,

unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ."

(ephesians 4:11-13)

 

 

"Built Up" are key words.  It's so that our joy may be full, that our faith may endure, that our walk may be secure, that our ministries may be bearing, that our knowledge of Christ is poured from vessel to vessel, and that the world may observe "our love one for another" and magnify our Lord Jesus Christ.  It's all about Him, living in us, reaching out to them, bringing them to Him, getting ready for Him, and taking them with us!  Where? To meet Him  ...  in the clouds on a day very soon when He will come for His Bride and remove us from earth, while He judges those who had not the love of Christ, nor love one for another.  Rejoice, therefore, in the Lord of your salvation and in the body of Christ, with whom you and I will live for all eternity!

"Standin' On Goliath!"

David said to Saul, "Thy servant slew both the lion and the

bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them,

seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God." 

  

David said moreover, "The LORD that delivered me out of

the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he

will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine." And

Saul said unto David, "Go, and the LORD be with thee."

(I Samuel 17:36-37)

GO David!  Hey, no "uncircumcised Philistine" was going defeat one that comes in the Name of the Lord!  It only takes a slingshot if you have the Lord on your side; it doesn't matter if they're coming at you with an AK-47, a cannon, a spear, an armored tank, or an AR Drone Parrot; the Lord fights the battles of the sanctified just.  You say, "What do You know about it?"

 

It just so happens, many years ago, a man stood in front of me and he had a rifle pointed at me with the barrel against my forehead, and he was slowly pulling the trigger  ...  I was a Christian, but I was scared; I knew this man had no qualms about killing me.  I started to shake with fear, but I was calling on Jesus in my mind.  Suddenly, the Spirit of the Lord settled over me, and I felt an unbelievable calm  ...  I said, "Go ahead, because up there, I'll be with Jesus, and down here, He's with me; so either way, I win."  And, immediately after my words, God's love settled over me, and at the same time, the man started to shake uncontrollably  ...  FEAR settled all over him, and the look on his face was like he was seeing the worst horror movie possible; his fierce shaking caused him to drop the gun and he ran out!  I've always wondered what he saw; was an Angel poised with his sword drawn behind me?  Whatever it was; it scared him senseless!  I was in the Choir at my Church at that time, and I was dressed and ready to go, so I went to Church and sang  ...  I figured I had a whole lot to sing about!  No one ever knew what I had been through just a few minutes before.  It's called  ... "Standin' On Goliath!"

"What in the world does that mean, 'standin' on Goliath?" you ask.  It means you put Goliath under your feet!  What battles are You facing; what attacks from the enemy have you running and full of fear?  If You have the Lord; if You have been washed by His blood in repentance; if You have been immersed in the waters of baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ; if You are filled with His Spirit and speak in tongues as His Spirit gives You utterance  ...  YOU don't need to run  ...  face it in the name of Jesus Christ, because You are surrounded!  ... He will be with You, and You will end up conquering Your giants, even if it's with a slingshot  ...  little is much in the hands of Jesus!

 

 



"Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and

with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts,

  the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.  This day will the LORD

deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee;

 and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls

of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that

there is a God in Israel.    And all this assembly shall know that the LORD

saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and he will

 give you into our hands."

(I Samuel 17:45-47)

 

"Giants" are everywhere in our lives  ... they are the things we have no control over: diseases, job layoffs, terrible marriage problems, teenager woes, financial problems, wars and rumors of wars, unrest all around and in our country, pain, sorrow, and the list goes on and on.  Some things, we get ourselves into, and some things are just life; some things are attacks of the devil, and then, there are some things that are tests of an Almighty God.  Nevertheless, if we belong to the Lord Jesus Christ; He takes our hand in His and we will rise again.  The Bible says He will not; REPEAT: He will not put more on us than we can bear.  "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (I Corinthians 10:13)

 

We are children of the King, servants of the most high God; we are priests and levites chosen of the Lord; we are soldiers for the gospel of Jesus Christ; we are warriors of the Faith; and we come in the Name of the Holy One of Israel, the mighty omnipotent and Holy Jesus Christ!  "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful."  (Hebrews 10:23)  You say, "Well, that's all well and good for You, but You don't know what I'm going through."  Hey, I'll pray for you; send me your name in the comments on this blog, and we will fight together!  I know how to fight battles; I know what it means to lose homes, husbands, jobs and to be on my last dime.  Life is tough sometimes, but we serve an Awesome God!  He is a very present help in times of trouble.  He will rescue us, hold us, carry us, deliver us, and preserve us.  Why?  Because, He died to set us free; and He's coming back for us, that where He is, we may be also  ...  He loves You and me, and all of mankind, with an everlasting love.

 

Put every "Goliath" under Your feet, by the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Word of Jesus. We will win! How do we know? We've read the back of the Book, the Holy Bible, and it says we win!  This is "War!"  It's a battle of the mind, the soul, the spirit, and yes, the body  ...  satan knows he has a short time, and his ploy is always to make us think that we have no help, that God will not be there for us.  LIE!  The Lord Jesus Christ will never leave us, nor forsake us  ...  AND, He has sent His angels to bring us the victory!

 

 

 

When the Lord Jesus Christ comes for us, like a thief in the night; may He find us faithful and true, enduring to the end, head held high clad in the full armor of God, walkin' and talkin' the gospel all over this world, unwavering in doctrine and truth, filled with His Spirit and dripping with anointing oil, holy and acceptable in His sight, climbing our mountains with steadiness, bearing the vallies and deserts with dignity, and finally, we've just gotta' be ... "Standin" On Goliath!"

"Shine Through Me"

"We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts."

(2 Peter 1:19)

The coming of the "Day Star" was prophesied as men were moved on by the Holy Ghost in the old Testament, and today, the Day Star, Jesus Christ our Lord, is arising in hearts day by day.  Nothing brightens a heart more than the infiltration of "THE Light" of the world.  When we are filled with the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues, the Spirit of Almighty God makes His dwelling place in us!  It's beautiful, glorious, magnificent, and darkness has to leave; the abundance of Light has arrived.  

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of

darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts

to give us the light of the knowledge of the

glory of God in the face of Christ."

(2 Corinthians 4:6)

 

Aren't you tired of  living in that state of no hope and that perpetual  darkness?  Many today live in a terrible dark place in their spirits, in their lives, in their emotions, in their thoughts, and their countenances reveal the shadows of pain, because you do know, don't you, that darkness is pain?  All of that can be gone in a moment in time, now, today!  Reach out to the ONE who reaches for You; repent of all of your sins; ask Him to fill you with His Spirit, and then be obedient to His Word, and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. 

You will be astounded!  "LIGHT" will fill your soul, your spirit, your heart, your mind, your body, and there will be no more darkness.  Oh, dear friend, it's the most powerful thing in the universe to know and experience the love and forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The angels lean over the bannisters of heaven every time a soul comes to Jesus Christ, and the Bible says they desire to look into it, because they cannot experience salvation.  They were created to worship the King of Kings and do His bidding, but guess what?  So were we  ...

 



The words of the song are the words for this dark hour in which we are living, "Daystar shine down on me, let your love shine through me in the night," are the heart throbs of a God who yearns for His creation, and longs for the dust formed into man, to return to Him for all of eternity.  And, if ever His love needed to shine in the hearts of men, women, and children; it's now.  There's too much hate, too much misguided animosity, too many who want to destroy others, don't you think?  Oh, "Daystar;" come and shine in us, come and fill every Nation, kindred and tongue, with Your glory, Your power, Your love, Your peace  ...  Daystar, come ...

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and

precious promises: that by these ye might be

partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the

corruption that is in the world through lust."

(2 Peter 1:4)

 

When the Spirit of Jesus Christ fills your soul, you are robed in righteousness, and you take on the nature of Jesus Christ.  Since we still live in mortal bodies, it requires daily consecration to keep ourselves holy.  Prayer, fasting, reading the Holy Bible, witnessing, and Church help us to walk the walk and talk the talk.  But, it's becoming more than that; it seems there is a new wind blowing, a new drawing of mankind unto that Holy place where the mercy seat abides, a new worship, a deep calling unto the deep, a new sound of Holy emerging from the "dust," a call to the "fire" is being voiced through keyboard notes  ... 

"What are you saying?  you ask.  I'm saying "Daystar" is coming closer; the angels are gathering in earth; the sound is stirring the heavens and angering evil  ...  There's only one thing that brings heaven to earth  ...  WORSHIP!  Worship "in earth as it is in heaven," and when this happens, Daystar shows up, the "nature" of earth is being changed, and Light eliminates the darkness  ...  Come, Daystar  ...

The Church is the Bride of Christ, and all of this holy rumbling in the Spiritual realms is readying the Bride for her Groom, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Every new soul that comes to Jesus becomes part of this Bride, and the move in earth, the fire on the altar, the great deepening of worship, the holy consecration, the power emerging, and the new scent rising, is to "complete" the Bride.  The Bride of Christ still needs more wedding garments, "souls;" she still needs to fill her Hope Chest, "Gifts;" she is still preparing and being prepared  ...  For what?  The Wedding, the Rapture, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.  

Do you hear it?  Do you feel it?  Can you sense it?  Will you embrace it?  Are you ready for it?  ...  Daystar in us  ...

"I AM"

"Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he

disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a

railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee."

(Jude 1:9)

"And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,

The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and

  the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and

this is my memorial unto all generations."

(Exodus 3:15)

"And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou

say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you."

(Exodus 3:14)

The archangel Michael and the devil fought over the body of

Moses, with the devil again accusing Moses

But, Moses' wife had spared him with the circumcision of his son,

fulfilling the abrahamic covenant, with boldness 

Blood had to be shed to pay for Moses' sin of murdering the

Egyptian, so Zipporah paid the blood ransom

She brought Moses back into the Hebrew blood line, by honoring

the Covenant, with obedience to the maxim

The devil hoped that God's promise to Abram would be broken,

making God a liar, and he could say "Gotcha"

But, Moses' wife foiled satan's plan and ensured God's purpose

would continue, all the way to Golgotha

If God's promise to Abram had been broken, satan thought God

could not sit in judgment over him

The devil thought he'd won, but blood covered the sin; now, after

the cross, sin is "erased" and we win

Moses was spared because of a Covenant, and we are spared

because of a new covenant, in Jesus our Lord

Won't you accept His forgiveness, repent, be baptized, and filled

with His Spirit; please come on aboard

No accusation can get you; there is therefore no condemnation 
 for those in Christ Jesus, your Savior

All sins are forgiven; He died and bled for the evils, the lusts, the

hatred, the murders, and sinful behavior

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the  
 last, the Lion of Judah, and the lamb

He's coming again to receive His own unto Himself, to live in 
 an eternity of Glory, with the Great "I AM."

"Return To Me"

"I watch you in your hurt and pain," says the Lord,

My robe of kingly stature

You can fall to your knees and be yourself now; put

aside the wayfaring actor

For I knew you from the womb; you were chosen to

be mine, a vessel for all to see

My arms are open wide, dear one, it's time to rise from

the dust, and "Return To Me."
