"Rivers of Living Water"

We are filled with Rivers, waters that flow from the

well that never runs dry

It's the Spirit of the Lord, the Holy Ghost and fire,

the desire of heaven, the Son's cry

All of creation must partake of the flow, from the vat

of the Creator's soul

The Word promised it in Joel, to cleanse and make

a sinful world whole

Pour it out, O Lord God eternal; we seek and crave

the omnipotent essence

Fill us with Your glory, Your power, and Your beauty,

from Your mighty Holy presence

We hunger and thirst for the waters that You offer, the

Spirit for a world in trouble

Waters that wash us, calm us, renew us, and lift us

from the sin, filth and rubble

O, Holy One of Israel, overshadow us with Your rain,

and raise us to that Holy realm

Where life is real, streets are gold, rivers are glass, and

reality is not a Babylon film

You are the dream we seek, and the lover of our souls;

come dance with us in Joy

As we bask in the melody of Your voice, and the visions

of angels, ever in your employ

This is not a fleeting thing, this infilling of Your Spirit;

it's lifegiving strength and power

Falling on us like waterfalls of satiating beauty, like

the scents of lily flowers

This world is not our home; we're here to pour from

vessel to vessel, of Your love and Spirit

To every soul and Nation, to all who seek the truth,

and are honest enough to hear it

Dear Lord, we're greedy for Your Spirit; we're like

the clay clinging to hands of a Potter

And the galaxies show forth their reflection, even as

we reflect You in "Rivers of Living Water."
