"Peace That Passes All Understanding"

"Afterward {Jesus} journeyed from one town and village to another, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.  Accompanying him were the Twelve and some women who had been cured of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out..."

(Luke 8:1-3)

What is Peace?  Mary Magdalene can tell you all about it?  I'm talking about something that is beyond feelin' calm, chillin' out, havin' a serene soothing moment  ...   No, this is something that only God can give and it's beyond this world; it's supernatural; it's a Spiritual "peace" that only comes from heavenly places in the Lord.  Mary was possessed with seven devils, and when Jesus Christ our Lord delivered her, she went to that place beyond understanding.  Imagine the torment she had endured, the continual tearing, growling, screaming of her mind, body, soul and spirit; then, suddenly, when Jesus touched her  ...  PEACE!

Are you in the middle of the worst storm of your life?  Debt? Divorce or marital problems?  Trouble with teens?  Diseases or Infirmities?  A terrible diagnosis?  Foreclosure?  Pain?  No where to turn?  Heartache beyond comprehension?  No job?  Unbearable job that you feel you can't leave without another job you can step into?  Been there, done that!  "Which one?" you ask.  "E" all of the above!  How do we cope?  The Bible says, "Let this mind be in us which was also in Christ Jesus."  When that "peace" comes, it's like the mind of Christ has entered us  ...

I was in a job that was unbearable; and the owner was verbally abusive and demeaning to me continually.  I dreaded going to work every day, but as a Christian, I felt I couldn't just quit, because I had witnessed to, and brought several people that I worked with there, to Church.  Besides, I had worked for the State for almost 40 years and then retired; I was not one who quit jobs, and this was a job I really needed to supplement my retirement income.  Finally, one day, it was particularly bad, and I was crying at my desk, which was not something I do.  My daughter called; I told her what was going on, and I thought she would say, "You can make it; hang in there, Mom, it will be ok," but she said, "GET YOUR PURSE, AND GET OUT OF THERE!"  So, I did it; I got my purse and headed out the door to the parking lot, without a word to anyone.  The moment my feet hit the parking lot, the Lord spoke to my heart and said, "Keep walking and don't look back." 

Then it hit!  What?  The most astounding thing I could have ever imagined.  Financially, I was in trouble, and for nine more months until I found another job, I stayed in trouble to a degree, BUT, I experienced that "peace that passes all understanding."  A miraculous calm settled over me and remained for almost ten months; I couldn't explain it; it was definitely something I had never known.  No, the financial problems didn't disappear; no, the need for another job didn't go away, but I made it, somehow with God's help, and I never had a single "fret" that whole time.  That has never happened since or before.  It was something God gave me for that special time in my life.  To me, it was a perfect example of what it feels like to be "in His perfect Will."  He has healed me, comforted me, supplied my needs in miraculous ways, many times over the years, but that was the only time I have ever experienced that "unbelievable peace." 
  

Mary Magdalene

It's no wonder that the now delivered and "peaceful" Mary Magdalene was there at the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the last to leave; she was the first to come to the tomb where Jesus was buried, and the first to discover the stone rolled away;and she was the first one to whom Jesus Christ appeared after He had risen.  Jesus Christ had Mary Magdalene on His hands; she would never forget what her Lord had done for her; she was not about to dismiss the miracle He had given her; she would forever be beholden to the Holy One, the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave her "peace."

Maybe today is Your day!  Maybe you're tired of carrying the burdens yourself; maybe you long for some peace, and especially that "peace that passes all understanding."  Jesus Christ is as close as the whisper of His name  ...  Call out to Him; and "Let Go, and Let God;" He will never leave you nor forsake you.  Peace, like a river will flood your soul, you'll study war no more  ...

If you have never been filled with His Spirit; ask Him to forgive your sins and fill you with the Holy Ghost; you will speak in a language you never learned.  It's a promise; over 580 million and counting have been filled; He will fill you too!  Be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.  If you were sprinkled as a child, or baptized any other way, consider being rebaptized with the "name of the Lord Jesus Christ" being said over you.  You say, "Is all this necessary?"  Absolutely, it is obedience to the Word of God (Acts 2:38; Acts 8; Acts 10; Acts 19) And, we must ask ourselves; what is the price of peace?  The price has been paid by Jesus Christ; we need only obey Him and His Word.





It's a panoramic Garden of Eden, an ethereal walking among the billowing wispy clouds, a place of scented roses and calm beyond all reason; it's out of this world and something that oozes the auspices of unknown love; it feels as though you have entered another dimension and the world around you is only a scene of beauty; it's "Peace That Passes All Understanding;"  it's found only in the Lord Jesus Christ, and He's waiting for YOU  ...

"Times and Seasons"

"Now as to the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need of 

anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that 

the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.…"

(I Thessalonians 5:1-2)

It's Nighttime; it's the end of the Age; it's as it was in Noah's day;

 and it's a holy day with signs in the heavens

We must remember what Jesus Christ did for us, and we partake a

 symbol of His blood and His body, with no leaven

He came to go and come back again; it's a plan that is unfolding

 before our very eyes; by the signs we are shown

The Word says that no man knows the day or the hour, but by the

 moon, sun, and stars, His coming is made known

There must be a reckoning for the Sins of man, and it was foretold

 long ago; be ready is the cry from portals of Glory

It's the time of the end and the whole world sleeps, but Almighty
 God knows how to awaken His "dust," for the final story

Day by day, the heavens change colors and the earth rages on,

 with no thought of the Thief who's coming so soon

The Church is marching in Harvest fields so white, while the

  ungodly take no notice of the hovering blood moon

Will a Holy God warn His creation before His judgments are

 poured out?  Only the skies reveal it, for all to see

There is purpose to all that God does; maybe the blood of the

 moon is a reminder of the blood shed for you and me

It's a call for all to look up, and be ready in a moment's notice, for

 we know very well that it's time for Him to come

The signs are all around; the nations are lining up and the Harvest

 is illuminated by the moon, the stars and sun

Those who know their Lord feel the birth pangs of fulfillment, and

 the excitement of their Holy soon coming King 

It's a Holy Ghost unction from the fire shut up in the bones, and

 it's a mighty Spiritual awakening kind of thing

The ready trumpet is about to sound, and the ungodly will think it

  thundered, but those who know will be quickly gone

We're already preparing our flight in the night, and our hearts

 leap at the thought, while we sing our leaving song

How can the saints of God know?  Jesus Christ lives within us, and

 His Spirit gives us wisdom and timely reason 

We know that we know that our God will make our way of escape;

 it's in His Word; we know the "Times and Seasons."

"Heir" Currents

"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and

joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with

him, that we may be also glorified together."

(Romans 8:17)

Mount up, children of the King, fly on wings of glory,

and soar above earth's dilemmas

You are an heir of God; your sufferings are but for a

moment, just a part of earth's cinemas

So, climb above the valleys; let your wings be buoyed

upon the promises of the estate

The Lord Jesus Christ left you an inheritance, riches that

 heaven and earth could never equate

He left us His Spirit, His name, and His Word, power

beyond all mortal imagination

For Glory to descend, and rest in the "dust," is an aura

 of pure and holy fascination

We float on the currents of ethereal holiness, in the 

portals of God's Spirit

When we're filled with His essence, His power, and

His love, qualities of eternal merit

Let your wings catch the currents, and be sealed in the

truth and wisdom of omnipotence

And, come out of the human existence of sin, and the

system of life and its grim pittance

You were created for beauty, for purity, and to dwell

in the Eden of heavens

Rise high in your betrothal, and wait with dignity, in

the angelic realm that beckons

We are the heirs of His Spirit, and the Bride of His

Church; we dwell not with lowly serpents

We fly with the eagle into destinies beyond; we're

 in His will, flying His "Heir" Currents.

"Everybody's Got A Gate!"

Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.
 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;  Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.   And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.  And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.   And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.   And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
(Acts, Chapter 3)

Anyone anywhere, all over the world, can call upon the Name 
of the Lord, and seek His omnipotent grace

He is nigh unto anyone who seeks Him in humility, and the 
 sorrows of repentance, in the fall upon the face

It only takes the mention of One Name called out in urgency, and 

suddenly heaven's angels gather around that soul

As the Spirit of Jesus Christ comes to dwell in His "dust" with the

  tongues of fire, from lips touched with hot coals

It's the Holy Ghost poured out from Jesus, who is risen and alive,

 as He fills us with His Spirit and power

Who can deny this move that's consuming every Nation, kindred,

 and tongue?  It's the prophecy of the last hour

Oh, Nations, come one and come all to the beckoning of Your

 Lord and Savior, as He woos You with His love

He will never leave you, nor forsake you; He fills, enfolds, and

 hovers over you, like the feathers of a dove

Why should you wallow in the degradation and suffering of Sin's

 result, when you can be forgiven and set free?

It's joy unspeakable and full of glory when the Spirit of the Lord 

Jesus settles in your soul, in holy beauty

Give it all up to the One who formed you from dust, and gave you

 breath; He waits so anxiously, with open arms

Repent of all the Sin, and come clean before the One who knows

 all; get rid of the witchcraft and evil charms

The devil will promise you pearls, but drag you in the mire, so go

to the One, who lifts to the heavens that are higher
His ear is nigh unto all those who call; He's just a moment away 
 from the repentant, and the desperate crier

Guilt and shame are the powers that drag you down, but the Holy

 One of Israel came to give life, and a crown

It only takes a whisper, if that's all you can muster, and the Lord

 will be there to get rid of the evil, for the showdown

Ah, the splendor and freedom you will feel, when at last your heart

is clean, pure, and filled with His Spirit

It's time now to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ; this is

 salvation; the Lord wants all to hear it

The day will come when time shall be no more; judgment will fall,

 and the world will cry out, but it will be too late

It's best to obey the Holy Bible, rest in the hands of the One who

 died to give you life, and so seal your fate

For He's searching to and fro throughout the earth, for those who

 will receive His love before the end comes

It's simple, the answer to life's terror and woes rests in the Lord

 Jesus Christ and His Word, the two columns

They wrap us in His safety and power; it's a peace upon the

 countenance of those in Christ, who believe

It's because we heeded the whisper, and we ran to the One God

 who reigns with three little words, "call to Me"
The Ark, God's Church, is loading up before the door is shut and
 time is no more; so come on, get on board
Cry out to the Lover of your soul; He's waiting for your call; let 
 your voice reach Him with a plea to your Lord
He wants to set you free, fill you with His Spirit, and lift you from
 the mire, so don't hesitate and don't cower
Today is Your day, for healing, for miracles, for salvation and

 mighty wonders; it's your time for power
There is a season for every Warrior, a time of reaching to God 
for His answer, and we hunger for that date
It's just getting us to the right place and time for virtue to leave
 Him, because "Everybody's Got A Gate!"
