"A Man After God's Own Heart"

A psalmist, a harpist, a shepherd, and a King,

so was mighty David, the lone lover

He was a lover of God, a dreamer, a songwriter,

and penner, he was one like no other 

In the pastures, strumming his harp, he serenaded 

His God and the King of Kings

With verse of a pundit, his wisdom of words was 

dulcetly presented, no small thing 

It came from the deep and longing of soul, for the

God he knew by moonlight

Gazing for hours on end, into the face of heaven,

in the heat of summer June nights

How does one have such love, for a God never

seen, but One only heard?

Oh, the whispers through the fields, were the Lord

in response to David's oft words

For the Lord stays not silent, when incense of

worship beckons His ear

The Holy, Holy of earth, collides with the Holies,

of Angels ever so near

And the ensuing crescendo is the Glory of Eden,

and innocence restored 

In just a moment in time, earth and heaven are

One, preempting the sins before 

Suddenly, the Creator finds rest, in an echo of

"one," the dust and the divine

As a shepherd boy divulges the melody, of the 

Holiest heart, so sublime

Who can know the heart, and the soul of the 

Holiest Almighty Lord God?

The one who sits at His feet, sings his love, and  

 breaks the box, clothed in ephod

To whom will the Holy One reveal the secrets, of 

His soul to impart? 

It will always be the "one" who loves Him uniquely, 

"A Man After God's Own Heart."

"Snicker" a Little!

You might be a Redneck if:

You keep your teeth and your goldfish in the same glass.

Your dog rides in your truck more than your wife.

Your jack-o-lantern on your porch has more teeth than you do.

Your house doesn't have curtains but your truck does.

Your computer password is BUBBA.

Your grandmother has "AMMO" on her Christmas list.

You think a quarter horse is that ride in front of K-Mart.

Your cousins put out a rap record and it goes aluminum.

You can entertain  yourself for more than an hour with a fly swatter.

You've bathed with flea and tick soap.

You have used a rag for a gas cap.

Your lifetime goal is to own a fireworks stand.

Your complete set of salad bowls say Cool Whip on the side.

Redneck Church:

The pastor says, "I'd like to ask Bubba to help take up the offering,"  and then five guys and two women stand up.

A member of the church requests to be buried in 

his 4-wheel-drive truck because "It ain't never been in 

a hole it couldn't get out of."

Finding and returning lost sheep isn't just a parable.

High notes on the organ set the dogs on the floor to howling.

Laughter is the best medicine.  "For what?" you ask.  

For whatever's ailin' ya'!  Some have even laughed 

themselves well.  Speaking of tickling your funny bone;
