"HUNGER!"

The finite mind cannot comprehend the limitless
chasms of a God mind of infinity
Your scope of thought has no range, no end, no barrier,
from which mortality has an affinity
We search to know, O God, the intricacies of wisdom
beyond our reasoning capacity
Though the realms of human "dust" have boundaries, we
seek with a hungry longing audacity
Show us Your Glory, Your wisdom, Your power, Your
face and Your essence, we cry
All the while, You say, "Behold My form and cover
Your unknowing eyes, as I walk by"
You've called us apart, to a separation of growth; it's a
preempt to "birth" for the end time
And, it's alone on the crag where we receive the
insight and the strength for the climb
Omnipotent and Holy, full of mystery and aura, are
the shadows of Your mystique
In this darkness of moon calls, we are drawn to Your
holiness, in new hunger to critique
Come closer, O Lord, in more intimate communion;
it's the reason you brought us here
The inner tapestries of You are the fabrics of our desire,
that we are so longing to be near
In the aerie's dampness and cold, our prayers echo in
loneliness, where only You are our source
You must get us quiet and away from the crowd, to show
us Your will, in a manner not forced
So, we yield to Your Spirit and enter in to the solitude,
waiting for Your whispers and orders
It's not hard to hear You in this place, for all the sounds
bounce from rock to rock, on these corridors
With the touch of slight wind upon our furrowed brows,
we strain for more, with hearts of craving
Your presence is too profound for such brief intervals
of wisdom, for prophets now in waiting
Give us a foretaste of entrance to Your Glory and show
us the vision, as we abide for tomorrow
We shall emerge with knowledge and a view of glory,
when we leave this place we've borrowed
Grant us Your door into our existence of watching
for our Lord, and the Lion who's coming
And give us a foretaste of eternity's ecstasy of Your
presence forever, a thought so stunning
It's a promenade of Your Holy Word, as it hovers in our
spirits, and then settles in our hearts
It brings a barrage of desire, as we pray for ways to draw
nearer, for more of You to impart
It's a preempt to "birth," this apex dwelling that You
have called us to, and drawn us away
We are set apart to "groan" deeper in the auspices of
Your mind, and to this we pray
For we are in love, dear Lord, with the Savior of the
world, and the Redeemer of mankind
It's a love beyond reason, stemming from the very God of
wonder, that all men can find
We gladly enter this place of mist and auras, and we kiss
the noisy world 'goodbye,' with wonder
Then we behold the higher, and partake of Your mystery
on the peak of learning, called "HUNGER!"

"EXPECTING!"

"The LORD is good to those who wait for Him,
To the person who seeks Him."
(Lamentations 3:25)

When we pray to the Lord fervently, we must "EXPECT" the answer! We have to believe that Almighty God hears us and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6) You say, "But, I've waited so long for the answer."  Don't give up!  You could be moments away from Victory!  Faith is "expecting" that answer continually, believing and looking up for the blessing coming down, knowing that your help is nigh your doorway, and within your heart is an excited expectant posture of Hope!  How long do we pray?  Until  ... Believe and pray as a little child, and wait with JOY!

"Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because
of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out
wicked schemes.  Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret, it
leads only to evildoing.  For evildoers will be cut off, But those
who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land."
(Psalm 37:7-9)

Ah, if you wait, you will inherit the land!  That means, because we are the descendants of Abraham, we receive the blessings of Abraham; we are partakers with Him, of the promises of God.  So, rest, believe, don't fret, don't envy those who are evil and who seem to get many blessings, but trust in Your Lord, who desires that You prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. By the way, that word "rest" in the Hebrew is sometimes translated "Wait."  We're in this for the long haul; we didn't begin to quit; we ain't no ways tired; we shall reap if we faint not!  Praise Him, thank Him, worship Him, glorify Him!  You say, "But, it hasn't happened yet." Faith is seeing something done before it materializes.  Remember the Shunamite woman, who went to Elisha, because her son died of a heat stroke and lay dead on the bed at home  ...  and when asked if all was well with her, with her husband, and with her son, she replied, "It IS Well!"

"Cease striving (“be still”) and know that I am God …”
(Psalm 46:10)

The key word in the above scripture is "rapha" which means 'relax, become motionless, hang limp, let go.'  Take a free fall into the arms of God and "wait."  When God pulls the arrow out of the quiver and shoots it for the target, the answer comes quickly. We must remember that while we're waiting, we should be learning, growing, understanding "why" there is a wait.  Is He growing "us" or the one we're praying "for?"  Are conditions right for the answer?  Is there a bigger picture going on that constitutes the wait?  Would giving us the answer be the very best thing for us, in God's eyes?  Is the wait accomplishing a move of God all around us?  The mind of Christ knows  ...  and we can know 'if' we "let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus."

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying,
yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light
affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which
are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but
the things which are not seen are eternal."
(2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

Keep looking up, keep expecting, keep believing, keep going, keep the faith!  You say, "That's easy for you to say; you don't know what I'm going through."  Bless your heart, dear one, but I do know some about waiting myself, and no, it's not at all easy sometimes; it feels like a long hot desert, and the sands are grinding on our nerves, the loneliness of the place is becoming unbearable; the winds just keep blowing with no "oasis" in sight.  But, we must fall back on the scriptures, the Holy Word of God, that says, "Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning," and so many other comforting scriptures.  God gave us His Word to ease our troubled minds, to guide and instruct us, and to show His unfailing love for His creation.

God's love never fails; we must not let our love for Him fail.  He's as close as the mention of His name  ...  JESUS!  Say it.  Whisper it.  Shout it.  It doesn't scare Him; He rather loves the "passion." Give Him your all  ...  and He'll give You the all that you were "EXPECTING!"

"King Size God!"

The heavens declare His glory; from a babe
in a manger, to the King of Kings
He IS the Great I AM; the Alpha and Omega,
of this, all of creation Sings
Hallelujah; our God is an awesome God, and
we bow before His majesty
The Lord of all and God of all; soon, none
will doubt His Deity
Holy, Holy, Holy, our Lord God Almighty;
we come with gratitude
To worship and praise our God and King, in
a humble and thankful attitude
For You are our Savior, our soon coming King,
the lover of our souls
Preparing for us the Holy City, the River of Life,
and mansions untold
Sing, O barren land, and shout to the treetops, for
the King arose; He lives
The sun sets at His bidding, and rises in the hearts,
of all He forgives
The earth reaches for its Maker, climbing high
in clouds of beckoning
For the One coming to the Mount of Olives, for a
showdown and reckoning
Shout, Ye children of the King, for your hope and
joy eternal has thundered
Everything kneels and surrenders to His voice, as
He tears Hell and evil asunder
Heaven and earth proclaim His wonder, in the winds of
promise, where His angels trod
For nothing shall be impossible for the Lord of all,
Jesus Christ, our King Size God!"

Be It Unto Me

"And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord;
be it unto me according to thy word. And
the angel departed from her."
(Luke 1:38)

Come unto me all ye who are heavy laden and I will give you rest;
in my arms, I'll be enfolding, and sustaining you
I whisper my love into your fearful mind; you'll not be forsaken;
I'm hovering ever, like the early morning dew
Your times are in My hands and I will not put more on you than
you can bear; My love for you is eternal
You're My child forever; My love is everlasting, not wafting in
the winds; it's not momentary, nor temporal
For your name is carved in the palms of My hands; your face is
ever before Me; you are my treasure
I have a place prepared for you, that where I am, you may be
also; it's glory and beauty beyond measure
Lean on Me, when your burdens are weighty and your fears are
strong, for I AM your peace; I AM your song
It is to Me you should cling; I will uphold you; the blood I shed
protects you; it is to Me you belong
Cast your cares upon Me; I will wipe away your tears, calm your
every fear, and carry your heavy load
I AM your Savior, your Lord, your Redeemer; in Me you will
find rest; in Me you dwell, and make your abode
Come, weary Saint, and mount up with your wings so strong, and
your Eagle's flight, and rise above it all
Ascend to My voice, fly with the air currents and follow the
winds of My beckoning; Oh, please, answer My call
Wherever you are, My precious loved one, is where I AM, for you
are never out of my sight, never forsaken or alone
Nothing shall by any means ever hurt you, if you stay away from
hellish Sin, and the devil's fire and brimstone
My ways are perfect, holy, pure, and the aroma of My love is ever
surrounding you, in billows of holy power
My own Angels watch you sleep, and they battle to bring Me
your prayers, that the evil one will not devour
Be at peace, my child, for I'm your source of all that's good, and
your answer in this dying world of trouble
Let not your heart be entangled with all the lusts, the cares, the
riches, and the trauma of earth's sinful rubble
For I have come to set you free, raise you up, fill your spirit, and
wash away the things that destroy and kill
Won't you take My hand, walk with Me, let go of the world, and
give Me your heart, your love and your will
When you dwell in Me, and you're filled with My Spirit, baptized
in My name, and leaving behind the old facade
I will be your anchor, your Lord, the soft pillow for your head in
times of need; I will be there, I AM your God
When the trials are heavy and the pain seems never to cease, lean
against My chest, for My best you will see
As destiny unfolds and your pleas have been answered, you will
remember when you prayed, "Be It Unto Me!"

"Spirit and Peace"

When life is overwhelming, the Lord whispers sweet
peace, and my heart skips a beat
Because I hear His voice; it's the sound of comfort,
from the clouds beyond, and heaven's seat

When life's cares begin to thunder, and fears attempt
their ever boldface entrance
I cling to the Word, stand fast in My Lord, and refuse
evil's ploy and debilitating hindrance

Then, heaven's light brightens my pathway, and thrills
my soul with joyful Christmas bliss
As I thank Jesus for His mercy, and for giving me
such a mighty holy blessing, as this

His beauty surrounds me, enfolds me, and caresses
me, in closeness like a glove
And I speak to Him in the Spirit, a tongue of Glory
coming down, in oceans from above

And the skies begin to open; my troubles start
to fade and dissipate
It is something to behold, the power of God's love,
more than one can anticipate

Suddenly, I rise; I have the impetus to resume
my orders for the enduring climb
Because the Spirit gives me strength, and the desire
for mountain air, that is Oh so sublime

So, I started on my knees in the throes of all
the troubles, and atrocity
But, the Holy Ghost took me past earth's dilemmas,
in a wisdom search, with curiosity

Now, standing with hands raised in adoration and praise;
My Lord gives the mighty release
He knows all the answers; His Spirit gives me wisdom,
and He Whispers Sweet Peace!
