"Life Is A Ladder!"

"When he (Jacob) reached a certain  place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set.  Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep.  He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.  There above it stood the LORD and He said: "I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac.  I will give you and your descendents the land on which you are lying.  Your descendents will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south.  All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.  I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land.  I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you."  (Genesis 28:11-17)

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the LORD is
in this place, and I was not aware of it."  He was afraid and said,
"How awesome is this place!  This is none other than the house of
God; this is the gate of heaven."

Early the next morn, Jacob took the pillar that was under his head and poured oil on it and called the place Bethel.  Then, Jacob made a vow to Lord that if He would watch over him on his journey, give him food to eat and clothes to wear, and return him safely to his father's house, he said, "Then the Lord will be my God and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."

(Jacob wrestles with an Angel)
"Now when he saw that he did not prevail against
him, He touched the socket of his hip; and the socket of
Jacob's hip was out of joint as he wrestled with him."
(Genesis 32:25)

Here again Jacob encounters an angel; he evidently did not like what the angel said and he wrestled with him.  They wrestled all night long, and the angel finally said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak."  Jacob would have none of that; he said, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."  Then, the angel asked, "What is thy name?"  Jacob told him and he said, "Thou shalt no more be called Jacob; thou shalt be called Israel."  The name of Jacob has a meaning of  "heel catcher/deceiver/ supplanter," but Israel meant "a prince of God."

Israel

Jacob's test and struggle are the reason we have a Nation named Israel.  And, the Nation of Israel "wrestles" yet today with enemies all around her seeking to destroy her, yet she prevails!  The Nation is blessed, and those who bless her shall be blessed; those who curse her shall be cursed.

Life for each one of us in God is a struggle to reach the apex of the time of blessings for a season, and then we all hit those seasons of disappointments; it is a ladder of rungs, each a climb to reach more in God.  Those who do not climb will miss the blessings.  Each rung represents greater dimensions, greater insight, strength and power in the Holy Ghost.  The interesting thing is that the lower we bow, the higher we climb.  God's blessings are not one step above each other, but one step below the other.  Down is up with the Lord; climbing is bowing to a posture of greater and greater humility.  We are never as tall in the Spirit as when we are bowed on our knees!

Lord, we seek Your face down on our knees, and we climb to stupendous heights down on our knees; we soar with the eagles down on our knees; we bow low to climb high, and in the process we greet angels ascending and descending  ...  Even they know: "Life Is A Ladder!"

"Picture of Vision"

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached
in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come."
(Matthew 24:14)

PromiseLand Church

What is a world view?  It's seeing through the eyes of Almighty God; it's having a view bigger than one's own family, friends, and immediate surroundings; it's seeing the big picture as God sees it; it's a "Picture of Vision."

PromiseLand Church in Austin, Texas, has been in prophecy for years, and very recently, was prophesied as the Center of International ministries and worldwide revival.  Pastors and prophetic ministers are gathering here and scheduling to come regularly to this Church.  Why?  God has raised up this Church, and Pastor Kenneth Phillips as the Father of the Nations to reach the entire globe with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  It's not a small undertaking; the Church is growing by leaps and bounds, with a Charter School now beginning, with over 180 ministries, with Spanish services, Ethiopian services, regular Mission trips, Bible College classes, over 120 in the home Bible network, and the list goes on and on.  The price has been paid with years of many 40-day fasts by members, prayer, prayer, and more prayer, and most of all  ...  Love for a lost world, love for people hurting in every Nation, kindred and tongue  ...  the tears of the world streak the faces of a people who care, who lay hands on Your Nation on our map in the prayer room, and weep for Your people.  It's no "ordinary" Church  ...

Pastor Kenneth Phillips

This is what "Vision" looks like, wrapped in an American flag, kissing an Italian flag, and those anointed hands cover the globe on his desk as prayer in the Spirit rises to the eternal Spirit for the Nations, continually  ...  it's all about the Nations, people, souls, hurting, reaching, crying people all over the world.  This is no "ordinary" man  ...

The "Vision" keeps this Pastor and this Church awake  ...  the world has been divided into Regions and are set up; the Pastors are arriving for the team; the pieces of the puzzle are coming together; the world doesn't know it, but they have been targeted  ... with Love!
The Father of the Nations will lay hands upon the Nations, one by one, soul by soul, and by the Word of Jesus, the Name of Jesus and the Blood of Jesus, Love will make the difference.  You say, "Love doesn't take care of everything."  The Bible says it covers a multitude of sins!  Have you ever been loved, really loved, no matter what you've done, no matter how evil the sin; have you ever felt really clean inside?  Have you ever felt Holy, really Holy?  Only the Lord Jesus Christ can do that in our lives, by baptism in His name, the infilling of His Spirit, the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  It is greater than anything you can imagine, the holiness, innocence, and purity that comes over you when you are saved and sanctified in the Lord Jesus Christ!

The one with Vision realizes the clock is ticking down; it's as it was in the days of Noah; people are eating, drinking, marrying, given in marriage, and the door is about to be shut; people are drowning in evil and sin, and someone must throw them a life raft.  Who will do it?  PromiseLand Church will, and is  ... we're coming world!
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old
men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
(Joel 2:28)

The Lord is not willing that ANY be lost or perish.  All will have a chance to come to Him, to feel His love and protection, to walk in His beauty and His gifts, to feel His tender mercies and know His grace.  The time is now to turn to Him and give your heart to Him.  Jesus Christ will never leave you nor forsake you.  His love is eternal; won't you let Him carry your burdens, hold you and stand up for you?  Underneath are His everlasting arms.  He loves the world, the whole world, every Nation, kindred and tongue.

PromiseLand Church believes in the power of the Lord Jesus Christ; we've seen multitudes of miracles, signs and wonders, the Glory of Almighty God, the smoky mist of His Holy presence, the beauty of His salvation in adults and children as they receive His Holy Spirit, and every service is a different move of His Spirit  ... we come expecting a manifestation of God!  Won't you join us?  Every nation can view us via live streaming.  Won't you consider making PromiseLand your Church?  Many have moved here from other countries, other States, other cities  ...  God is gathering His own for the last harvest.  Won't you make PromiseLand your home?  We love you 24 hours a day; your cares are our prayers!

"Feed The Spirit"

The Bible is filled with the sacred order of fasting: "Then I proclaimed a fast; ...  So we fasted and besought our God ..."  (Ezra 8:21-23)  "Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assemby; gather the people ..."  (Joel 2:15-16)  "Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing."  (Acts 10:30)  Fasting "feeds the spirit" within us; we are 2/3 spirit (spirit and soul) and 1/3 body; the parts we feed the most are the strongest.  We must deny ourselves and "Feed The Spirit."

"As they ministered to the Lord , and fasted,
the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and
Saul for the work whereunto I have called them."
(Acts 13:2)

Things happen when we fast AND pray.  The Spirit of God speaks to our spirits; people are called, angels are loosed, healings and miracles occur, humans are set free  ...  and God arrives!  We hear and see clearly when our bodies are hungry and our spirits are full.  Fasting occurred all through the old testament and continued through the new testament.  Jesus Christ, our Lord, fasted forty days before His crucifixion.  Mighty things happen when huge assemblies of people fast and pray together.  Why?  It is a corporate sanctification of mortal souls; it is a posture of humility and searching, a reaching of those created for their Creator, and it is the loud voice of humanity screaming through the spiritual realms, "We need You, God!"  The Lord God Almighty never turns away a hungry pleading soul.

"Go, gather together all the Jews ...
and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink
three days, night or day..."
(Esther 4:16)

Fasting and praying changes other people's hearts, as we see in Esther's case.  No one could go in to the King without being bidden; it was considered to be worthy of death, but Esther needed to speak to the King to spare the Jews.  So, she called a fast before she dared to present herself to the King. She had no idea if she would be accepted; only if he held out his scepter would she know that she would not be put to death, so stepping out in faith, she spoke those famous words, "I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish."  (Esther 4:16)  Fasting supplies our much needed answers, direction, and guidance; it opens doors, breaks chains, produces light, changes hearts, and brings us favor.

"I don't really understand myself, for
I want to do what is right, but I don't
do it.  Instead I do what I hate."
(Romans 7:15)

Fasting humbles the "self" to surrender to the good that the flesh doesn't want to do.  Paul voiced what we all go through.  You say, "But Jesus was without sin; why did He have to fast?"  "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)  "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into Glory."  (I Timothy 3:16)  There is only ONE who did all of that:  The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ!  Our God made Himself Himself a body, by being born of a virgin, in order that He could die on a cross for you and me.  While He was in earth, He battled with the flesh just like we do, but He was without sin.  How did He battle it?  Fasting forty days, praying continually, and by rebuking satan who came at Him every chance he got.  The Bible states that Jesus Christ was tempted in all ways as we are, yet He was without sin.  How did He do it?  He fed the Spirit more than the flesh.
"For word came unto the king  ... and he caused
it to be proclaimed and published  ... saying, Let
neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any
thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let
man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry
mightily unto God  ...  Who can tell if God will ...
turn away from his fierce anger  ...  And God saw ..."
(Jonah 3:8)

When sin becomes a stench in the nostrils of God, and ungodly Nations are on the very precipice of judgment  ...  well, it's time to fast and pray.  Jonah came to the right decision, but he, too, had trouble with the flesh.  Every person in earth has trouble with the flesh.  Nobody in earth has ever been, or will ever be, exempt from temptation, not the Lord Jesus Christ, the Pope, nuns, priests, preachers, Christians, nor even Mother Teresa, when she was alive.  In this flesh dwelleth no good thing.  We have to subdue the flesh, and bring it under the mighty hand of God and His Word.

Fasting and prayer, deep sorrowful repentance daily, being filled with the Holy Ghost and speaking with tongues, and baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ are the foundation for salvation, which will keep us saved until it's time to go  ...  we all will go  ... one way or another  ...

The mighty men and women of the Bible struggled with this thing called "flesh."  From the beginning of time, when Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden, because of sinful flesh, it has been the bane of mankind.  But, the answer was provided by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and now as we approach His appearing in the Clouds, we can hear Him say, "Feed The Spirit!"
