Isaiah 40:31

"38,000 Feet"

"But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."  A lot of things happen at that lofty abode of "38,000 Feet!"

Eagles have been known to soar as high as 30,000 feet and some believe they can go higher!  Planes fly at 38,000 feet; Angels soar there and everywhere  ...  38,000 feet is probably their gathering place for "changing of the shifts;" warring in the heavens is likely to occur at 38,000 feet; and sunrises and sunsets paint their palettes of splendor on their way up and down from 38,000 feet!

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD in
the air: and so shall we ever be with the LORD."
(I Thessalonians 4:17)

The above scripture is what is termed and known as "The Rapture of the Church."  The LORD Jesus Christ will come in the air to take His Church, His Bride, out of this world, in the moment in the twinkling of an eye (I Corinthians 15:52) before the great and terrible tribulation period.  We will ascend beyond "38,000 feet" in that glorious rescue in the heavens!  We must count ourselves worthy to be among this entourage, by being baptized in the lovely name of the LORD Jesus Christ, being filled with His Spirit and speaking with tongues as His Spirit gives the utterance, and living a Holy life until that spectacular day, or night, when the trumpet sounds!

"Let us not become weary in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap a harvest
if we do not give up."
(Galatians 6:9)

In simple terms, "Your altitude determines your attitude."  Those who soar don't hit the floor!  Climb for the sublime!  Be a flying giant and you won't be temptation compliant!  Rise to 38,000 feet and your energy you won't deplete!  You get the picture; those who are always looking up, view the world as a full cup!  One of the key things to surviving illness, overcoming disease, and living beyond infirmity is a positive outlook  ...  it happens around 38,000 feet!

"They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion."
(Psalm 84:7)

From strength to strength, from glory to glory, from blessing to blessing, from Joy to Joy, from honor to honor, from beauty to beauty, from witness to witness, from harvest to harvest  ...  such is the Saint's journey to heaven!  It's not easy; He never said it would be easy!  "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair."  (2 Corinthians 4:8)  Keep on fighting, weary warriors of God; keep the faith; keep your hearts from impurity; keep holding on to the One who holds on to you!

"Therefore, since through God's mercy
we have this ministry, we do not lose heart."
(2 Corinthians 4:1)

This is for "all" the Ministers of Jesus Christ; the earth is in our hands.  We are the hands and feet of Jesus Christ our Lord, and "We" are the only ones who can lift earth high enough to see clearly!  The smog, fog, filth, and smut of evil that crawls the earth must be put under our feet, so that we may glimpse the Savior and abide with Him in heavenly places in His Spirit!  The Lord is high and lifted up, and His train fills the temple  ... perhaps He hovers at 38,000 feet ... waiting for your invitation to occupy your heart, soul, and spirit!

"Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up."  (Luke 18:1)  This is for You today!  Don't give up!  The LORD comes with healing in His wings; He is ever ready to comfort and bless you; you are His constant thought; He gave His life for you; Your life belongs to Him  ... if you will give it to Him  ...  Don't give up!

We have an everlasting Hope!  It lies beyond the clouds, beyond where eagles fly, beyond the second heaven; it's far far beyond the galaxies, but Hey, ya' gotta start at:  "38,000 Feet!"

2 Samuel 23:4

"SON" RISE

"He is like the light of the morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth."  The Lord Jesus Christ is the bright and morning star; He is the fragrance after the rain; He is LORD!  He watches over all the Nations and especially Brazil this week, like a "Son" Rise!

"The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn.
shining ever brighter till the full light of day."
(Proverbs 4:18)

He that the "Son" sets free is free indeed!  Righteousness means "in the fear of God."  Speaking of a Ruler who rules in righteousness, such as our Lord Jesus Christ, Gill's exposition says it this way, "he is the light and glory of his people, who guides and directs them, makes them cheerful and comfortable; his administrations are pleasant and delightful, and promise a growing and increasing happiness to them, like the morning light and rising sun..."  The JOY of the LORD is our strength!

This is what the Lord says to me: "I will remain
quiet and will look on from my dwelling place,
like shimmering heat in the sunshine, like a
cloud of dew in the heat of harvest."
(Isaiah 18:4)

It's Harvest time!  The Lord is spreading wings like the eagle over the face of the earth in waving winds of love to every Nation.  As the dew settles over beautiful Brazil, we send our prayers, and the Lord Jesus Christ sends His angels, His heavenly Angels and His earthly Angels ...  the Pastors of Churches are called Angels in the Book of Revelation  ...  PromiseLand Church in Austin sends its Angel, Pastor Kenneth Phillips to Brazil this week  ...  He brings love, power and Glory to the precious people of Brazil!

"For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good
thing does He withhold from those whose
walk is blameless."
(Psalm 84:11)

What a promise!  Another translation says, "No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly before Him."  You say, "Nobody can be perfect."  Matthew 5:48 says, "Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly father is perfect."  The word commonly means, "finished, complete, pure, holy."  None of us
can do this within ourselves, but by the Spirit of Jesus Christ our Lord, we "can" be holy and complete.  When we are baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we receive the Holy Ghost, and speak with tongues as the Spirit of God fills us, we are on the road to completeness, becoming perfectly complete; all the guilt, shame, hurt, heartache, fears, and sins are washed away!  Perfect means "whole."  Before we receive the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Lord, as our Savior, we are splintered, torn, and broken, but He takes us in His loving arms and makes us New and Whole once again; we are reborn by the Spirit of God!

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ rise upon you and give you peace; may His face shine upon you and direct your path.  Underneath are His everlasting arms; give Him your cares, your troubles and your woes; make Him your Lord and Savior and He will calm your storms.  May His Spirit abide within you, His name wash you clean in baptismal waters, and His love carry you until He comes again in clouds of Glory!  Amen and Amen!

Let the "SON" Rise in your heart and soul today!

Joel 3:16

"Roar From Zion"

The LORD will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the sky will tremble.  But the LORD will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel."  The Lord is called "The Lion of the tribe of Judah" in Revelation 5:5, and He 'ROARS' as a Lion, but is also known as a lamb.  The many faces and facets of Almighty God are resplendent throughout the Word of God.  But, before it's all over, the enemies of God's people will remember the "Roar From Zion."

Who are God's people?  All who call on His name; anyone and everyone who receives Him as their Savior, is filled with His spirit and baptized in His name.  His "roar" is to protect His own!  His love is for every nation, kindred and tongue; His mercy extends to every corner of the earth: North, South, East and West.  He's coming back, but before that wonderful day; He will gather His children from every nation, and He will roar against anyone who comes against them!

The nail-scarred hands of Jesus Christ hold an impression of the world He died for.  He shed His blood for all mankind and no person can escape His love  ...  even those who reject Him; He will reach for them all the way to the end!

The Lord Jesus Christ is a Savior, a warrior, a lion, a lamb, a King, a protector, the lily of the valley, the bright and morning star, The Creator, a lover, a wind beneath your wings, the fairest of ten thousand, a cloud by day and a fire by night, a "savor" for your soul, the depth of your yearning, the purpose of your groan, the One who bottles your tears, and He IS: THE GOD, the only God and Lord of all  ... "ONE" sits on the throne!

ROAR, My Lord!  Let the whole earth tremble at the sound, for the time is short, and every nation flounders, because Your coming is near!  The winds carry the heat of Your nostrils; the rains splash the tears from Your eyes; the earth groans for yearning for Your return; the animals are restless and sense the open heavens; the Angels are sent forth at Your roar  ...  and it's all for the endtime ingathering, the final call for every man, woman, and child on the face of planet earth to come  ...  Lord Jesus, we seem to hear You call out, "Come unto Me, for I will give You rest."

Can you hear it?  The Roar from Zion!  There are abundant Roars all around!  The Roars of the Church, the people of God shouting in triumph for their soon-coming King!  The Roars of the Nations as Joel 2:28 falls from the heavens!  The Roars of Miracles, Signs and Wonders, as the Power of the Lion frees, heals and delivers!

Maranatha, Lord Jesus!  We hear the pounding of the hooves; we see the flashes in the skies; we feel the brush of Angels' wings!  Oh, we welcome the sound of the Roar, Lord Jesus!  ...  Roar From Zion!

Hosea 6:2

"The Third Day"

"And God called the dry land earth  ... and the evening and the morning were the third day."  (Genesis 1:10-13)

"After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence."  A day is as a thousand years with the Lord; it's been over two thousand years since Jesus was born.  The Third Day is always significant to the Lord!  In many instances in the Bible, we see that the "third day" was an indication of something great was to be expected and would be happening "after" that "Third Day!"

"And that he was buried, and that he rose again
the third day according to the scriptures."
(I Corinthians 15:4)

What was the expectation after Jesus Christ rose on the third day?  He's ALIVE!  He's alive forevermore, and the Glory "after" His resurrection is the Holy Ghost sent back to us and now lives within us, when we are filled with His Spirit!  (Acts 2:38; Acts 19)

Abraham was prepared to obey the Lord's
instructions and offer his only son, Isaac,
on the third day of his journey to Moriah."
(Genesis 22:4)

The angel of the LORD stopped the hand of Abraham, and what happened "after the third day?"  The ram, which was sent by the LORD to be the sacrifice, was caught in the thicket!  After the third day, Praise!  Praise to the LORD God Almighty, the One who provides!

"On the third day, Esther put on her royal robes
and stood in the inner court of the palace, in
front of the king's hall, and gained entrance to
 the king's throne."*
(Esther 5:1)

It was forbidden and worthy of death if the Queen came to the king "unbidden."  Esther, after three days of fasting and prayer, by herself, the Jews and her uncle, Mordecai, Esther said the famous words, "I will go to the king, even though it is against the law; and if I perish, I perish."  What happened after this "third day?"  The king received her and granted whatever she wanted  ...  the big expectation?  The Jews were spared!

"Joseph's prophetic interpretation of the dreams of
the baker and the cupbearer were fulfilled on
Pharoah's birthday, which was also the third day."*
(Genesis 41)

Joseph, after this "third day" became the instrument of God for the preservation of his people, but not only did he prepare Pharoah's people for a coming time of famine, he also aided in his family's migration to Egypt.*  Bible.org says it like this, "In all of the above texts, the third day motif points to actions and matters that take on a spiritual dimension.  Something distinctive, even unique, was to occur on the third day and that in turn pointed to important things to follow."  The bottom line?  After the "third day," look up, look around, look for, look intently, and look out!  Exciting, stupendous, miraculous, phenomenal, amazing things are about to happen!

The Lord said after two days, he would revive us, and on the third day, he would restore us.  The awesome song says, "He makes beautiful things; he makes beautiful things out of dust.  He makes beautiful things; He makes beautiful things out of us."  We're in a period "after" the third day that the earth was formed  ... WE, you and me, are the dust of the earth formed by the Holy hands of God into humans.  There will be a millenium period of a thousand years of peace after the second coming of Jesus Christ.  But, there's a feeling in the air  ...  the winds are blowing an expectation; the groaning of the innermost soul is reaching a crescendo; visions of angels are becoming more and more pronounced; the soul is beginning to leap  ... Rejoicing time is here!

Earth! What's next?  Earth's Revival! The Holy Ghost and fire encompassing a hungry dust!  Earth's restoration!  The manifestation and outpouring of Joel 2:28!  A Holy beautiful visitation of a powerful God!  The "Third Day!"

Genesis 25:23-27

"A Womb Of Nations"

The Lord said to her, "Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger."  The biblical Rebekah had two boys growing inside her, Jacob and Esau, and the prophecy was fulfilled that the older would serve the younger.  Rebekah had within her "A Womb of Nations."

A "womb" is defined as a place where something is conceived, or a plan is devised to be put into action.  The Church today needs more "wombs," more places to give "birth" to the plan of God, which is to fill the whole earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ our LORD.  The Church of the living God must be pregnant with purpose, and groaning for delivery!  Rebekahs need to fill our altars, and bring forth multiple births of nations upon nations into the precepts of Acts 2:38 and the fulfillment of Joel 2:28.

                                                       Brazil

Italy

This month and in September, the birth of the Spirit in two nations will come to fruition.  Italy and Brazil will experience an outpouring of the Spirit of God such as never seen before, and it all started in the "wombs" of the spirits of men who bear the burden of hungry nations in their souls, and a vision of World Regions by Pastor Kenneth Phillips!  Pray for Italy and Brazil that they will see miracles, signs and wonders, millions baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and filled with the Spirit of Almighty God!

It starts with a "womb;" an incubator of the Spirit that feeds the deep yearnings of the very heart of God for His created earth.  It can be a man or a woman, who foregoes sleep and maybe even food for the greater purpose, for the souls of men, women and children, and carries those nations in the groaning, growing, planning "womb" until it explodes in powerful manifestation and Glory  ... the "birth!"

It started with twins with Rebekah, bringing forth two, and we know Noah sent them forth two by two, his family of couples and the animals, both two by two to replenish the earth; so Lord, we'll start with two wonderful nations and from those two, we will "fill" the earth with Your power, Your Glory, Your Spirit, Your wonder, Your everlasting Love, and the twins will become quadruplets, and nation after nation will sit at Your feet!

Everything starts with a "womb!"  It began from Eve and on through today, it still requires a "womb" to bring forth!  Simeon and Anna spent their lives in the temple preparing "wombs" of prayer hastening the day of the Christ child.  God is still looking for those who will yield themselves to prayer and fasting, to groaning in the Spirit, to launching out into the deep of the "passion" of a Holy God, and form a place to incubate His Word and bring forth.  From the portals of holiness comes a world of the saved, and a people, kindred and tongue who are filled with His Spirit  ... it starts between the pews, on one's face at the feet of Jesus at a blood-stained altar, ruminating in a "womb" of dedicated, heart-rending, soul-tearing, tear-drenched prayer and becomes after a time and a season, a bringing forth of a world so enlightened by the power of God that it outshines the sun!

It begins like Rebekah; in our spirits and in our souls, it starts as a seed of prayer forming "A Womb Of Nations."

Isaiah 35:4

"RESCUED"

Say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."  Isn't it wonderful to know that you have a Savior who will fight for you, stand up for you, send innumerable angels to protect you, and you will be safe; you will be "Rescued!"

In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God;
we trusted in him, and he saved us.  This is the
LORD; we trust in him, let us rejoice and be
glad in his salvation."
(Isaiah 25:9)

"In that day" could be today; every day is the Day of Salvation!  The Lord God, Jesus Christ, is a very present help in times of trouble.  "The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." (Psalm 9:9)  The definition of a "stronghold" is a place that is fortified or that can be easily defended.  Those who belong to the Lord, who are called by His name, who serve Him with gladness and walk in His statutes, who are filled with His Spirit, and who look for His coming  ...  can expect His love, His protection, His mighty hand of vengeance against anyone who attempts to destroy His own!  Even as a man defends his own family, so the LORD defends His children!

"But I will sing of your strength; in the morning, I
will sing of your love; for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble."
(Psalm 59:16)

When you begin to sing praises to the Lord, Guess what?  The angels join in; they can't help it!  They were created to worship a Holy omnipotent God and they are naturally drawn to anyone praising the Lord Jesus Christ.  So, if you want angels around, sing your praises; sing in the desert, sing in the rain, sing in the bad times, sing in the good times, sing when you're weary, sing when you're glad, sing when you're poor, sing when you have an ample abundance, sing in prison, sing in the flood, sing in the fire, SING!  You say, "How can I sing in the middle of all this that's happened to me?"  In the worst of times in my life, the LORD told me to sing  ... and I did; it was weak and feeble, filled with tears, shakey and off key, but He received it, and sent back such a presence of His Spirit that I cannot describe it!  No, He didn't take away the storm, but He carried me through it!

"Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out
your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.  Selah
(Psalm 62:8)

"Selah" means to pause and praise.  It's mentioned 71 times in Psalms alone.  I say, "Hey President, Selah!  Hey, Congress, Selah!  Hey America and the world, Selah!  It wouldn't hurt a soul on planet earth to lift their hands and "SELAH!"

"The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth."
(Psalm 145:18)

This means He is near to all those who worship Him as the true God, those with a sincere and upright heart, and those who seek His salvation.  The Book of Lamentations 3:57 says, You came near when I called you, and you said, "Do not fear."  Nobody whispers sweet peace like our lovely LORD Jesus Christ; underneath are His everlasting arms; He's as close as the mention of His name   ...  Jesus!  The LORD wants to ease your burdens, make a way where there is no way, calm your fears, and give you peace!

"The LORD is far from the wicked but
he hears the prayer of the righteous."
(Proverbs 15:29)

It's a small, but vastly important, step to come to the Lord Jesus Christ.  He's been waiting for you, you know!  You say, "Me?"  Yes, you!  He loves you with an everlasting love, all you have to do is repent of all of your sins, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and be filled with the Holy Ghost and speak with tongues as the Spirit of God enters your body.  (Acts 2:38; Acts 10; Acts 19)

Please pray with me:  "Lord Jesus, I don't know much about you, but I'm tired of living with guilt, shame, and always feeling so alone and I'm just miserable.  I don't have happiness or Joy; I really want to feel that.  Please forgive me of everything in my life that has been wrong; I will turn around and walk the right way.  I will be baptized in your name; please fill me now with your Spirit!  I will live for you all of my life; I will read the Bible, and I will live a life that is pleasing to you.  Amen and Amen!

If you received the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues after praying this prayer, please contact promiselandchurch.net and tell them!  We're so happy for you, and we will help with materials and guidance for your new walk with Jesus Christ!

What the world needs now is Love, sweet Love; that's the only thing that there's just so little of  ...  as the song goes.  The only pure Love; the only Love that will never leave you nor forsake you, is the Love of the LORD Jesus Christ!  He will help you with everything in your life, but first, you know what you have to do, if you haven't yet prayed to be saved   ...  Call upon Him while there's still time  ...  and be saved, be lifted out of the world's mire and placed on heaven's rolls  ...  Jesus Christ will meet you on the road you're on; do it!  ...  Reach out to the One who reaches out to you  ...  Be "Rescued!"

Psalm 104:4

"Purifying Fire"

"He makes winds his messengers, flames of fire his servants."  America is on fire!  Heat, blazing temperatures, and burning winds all across the USA.  What is going on?  In the realms of God, fire was used in sacrifice, in testing, trials, correction or destruction of evil, manifestations of Glory, His jealousy of His sole worship, and the list goes on and on.  There's no doubt, whatever its use, it is always a "Purifying Fire."

"Is not my word like fire," declares the LORD,
"and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"
(Jeremiah 23:29)

Almighty God, The Creator, Jesus Christ our LORD is described as a "consuming fire."  (Hebrews 12:29)  Fire is generally considered to be a negative thing, but it can be the most positive thing of all!  In the Book of Acts, when the people were filled with the Holy Ghost, tongues of "fire" sat upon each of them, and they spoke in other languages they had never learned and prophesied.  Why is it necessary to speak in tongues?  The tongue is the most evil part of the entire body.  "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body.  It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by Hell." (James 3:6)  So, in order to sanctify and "purify" this most wicked member of the body, the Lord must gain full control, and He does this by touching the tongue, and we speak in a language we have never learned  ...  it is the Spirit of the Lord God of the universe entering the body of a human being  ...  speaking in tongues is evidence that you have been filled with the Spirit of God.

Could it be that God is visiting America and the world, with all of its disasters?  Is He righteously angry with ungodly laws being passed?  Are His nostrils steaming with fury over an immoral generation?  You say, "No; it's probably global warming, or it's just hot; that's all."  Maybe so, but how do you know it's not a Holy God trying to "purify" a Nation?  How do you know it's not the lover of our souls urging us to get ready, because He's coming?  You say, "Oh, that's just scare tactics."  Ok, I hear you, but consider this, nobody lives forever in earth, but we do, all of us, live forever somewhere!  It's that "somewhere" every soul in earth must prepare for  ... and it's a "purifying fire" here, or a tormenting fire there  ... you can't get away from the fire!  There's good fire  ...  the fire of the Holy Ghost  ... and there's bad fire  ... the good fire takes us to heaven  ... the bad fire  ...

"After he drove the man out, he placed on the
east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and
a flaming sword flashing back and forth to
guard the way to the tree of life."
(Genesis 3:24)

God's intention was that man would live eternally in the Garden of Eden, but man sinned and was banished and the Garden was protected by a flaming sword.  Life is a full circle; it began in the Garden of Eden, a place of Paradise, and we will end back in that Eden existence and Paradise  ...  if we yield to the fire!  The Holy Ghost and fire brings a Godly consience, a Holy Spirit, to dwell within us, to guide us into all truth, to warn and protect us, to comfort and console us, and it is the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ!

"As they were walking along and talking together,
suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared
and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up
to heaven in a whirlwind."
(2 Kings 2:11)

Fire joins earth to heaven!  In the above scripture, it separated Elijah from Elisha and took Elijah to heaven.  In the sacrifices offered in the old testament, the firey sacrifice rose as a sweet incense to the Lord, covered the sins of the people, and caused them to be joined again to a heavenly God.  Today, we must be filled with the Holy Ghost and fire to join us to God in heaven by His Spirit in us.  God will not live in a sinful place; the Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God dwelling in us, a "consuming fire," that burns away the dross and joins us to God!

America and World ... yield to the fire!  Look up to the One who vies for your attention.  Seek the One who controls the fires, the winds, the ice, the babbling brooks, the rainbow and the rain!  Repent, be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, receive the Holy Ghost and speak in other tongues as the Spirit of Jesus Christ fills you  ... you'll never be the same again  ... you'll walk different, talk different, think different, "love" different; you'll come forth as pure Gold, because it's a fire of love, a "Purifying Fire!"
